My cats were drinking from my faucet for a minute or two and the faucet looked like this afterwards. Only reverted to normal when I touched where the water actually comes out from.
Edit:
The water was barely on, just a low flow
No sediment in the head of faucet
""Dawn was crowned the winner of Fat Marmot Week 2026 after securing back-to-back victories in both the mass-gain and popular-vote competitions, according to the organizers of the marmot project at the Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory.
Julien Martin, professor of evolutionary ecology at the University of Ottawa and co-leader of the marmot project, said that Dawn, the six-year-old marmot, ended up weighing about 6kg (13.2lb).
“That’s one of the heaviest animals we’ve ever measured,” Martin said. “Six kilos is really humongous for that species.”"
just outside the hackerman building, wish i got more footage of it cus it was doing crazy flips n shit but i kind of got freaked out thinking there was something wrong with it. looking online at squirrel behavior like this its probably just bored but idk
Found it outside of Welch. What does this omen foretell?

CC didn't seem to be working on a couple of movies tonight--is it me? Criterion? The movies?
Anyone else having this problem...?

>...magic in The Lord of the Rings is something religious. It is that little remaining bit of godliness, of the light of heaven, that has made its way to the mundane world through countless dilutions and diminutions. When Galadriel, or even Gandalf, do magic, they are placing a bit of their virtue—the virtue of being closer to the Valar—back into the world. When the Ring does magic, it is exerting the corrupting force of Morgoth, the novel’s devil figure, on its bearer and everyone around him.
Just thought this was lovely....
Never seen one fully out of the water like this before! Beautiful little creature.
EDIT sounds like it’s actually a groundhog! Didn’t know those could climb trees
…also is thinking about eating me….
This groundhog scared the daylights out of me. She didn't run when I went right up to the window and took some banging on the door to get her to leave. Could she have rabies?
Hey y’all!
I have a bunch of cutie pie squirrels that live in my yard in Utah, and as they do, sometimes attempt are made to get into my bird feeders. Most of my feeders are squirrel deterrent specific, but this little cheapo by my front door is not.
To the Video: I just caught this little guy on the top of my shepherd’s hook, and couldn’t help but notice the girthy nature of his undercarriage? Does this look OK to any of you squirrel experts out there? They seem ridiculously large to be his fuzzy man dice, but who am I to be a squirrel nut size-ist!? Prolapsed squirrel uterus? I’m doubting that option but who knows! Let me know if you think I need to get this guy checked out somehow? 🥜
"Very few Númenóreans were ever killed by bears; and these mishaps were not regarded as reasons for war upon the whole race."
From The Nature of Middle Earth
It looks like a muskrat or groundhog, but I’m not confident in that ID.
