Long story short, I sold a high ticket TCG item in August to a customer, who opened a return for the item under an INAD, despite my authenticity guarantee. After a bit of back and forth, I decided to approve the return and send a label, and waited the allotted time for him to ship it back.
Only for him not to. And so, the return automatically closed, the money was taken out of limbo, and I went about my business completely casually.
That is, until yesterday, when that same customer escalated the case to support, a grand two months after the initial attempt to run a fast one. Despite the fact that I've called eBay customer service and they've assured me "I had to do nothing and they'd handle the case since it's past the allotted time," the buyer WON the case, and I'm now a negative balance of a little over $1000.
Is this how it has to be? Customers can just rip sellers off, and eBay's lousy service reps make false promises about how the issue can be solved? I opened an appeal, but I'm not confident in their ability to do anything about it.

None of the cheat codes I've found across the internet have worked. Any tips?
No, they’re usually sold out.
“But the website says you have them!”
It’s not my fault that the managers back door them to scalpers and it throws off the count in Products app— so sick of these dang cards
I stopped laughing when the kitchen doors opened and something with five horns began inspecting the evening's reservations.
Would anyone be interested in purchasing it? I got it off a friend, but I feel like if someone wasn't able to make it to the tour, it'd be nice to offer.
(Mods, if I'm not allowed to sell this here, I apologize!)
Edit: Added Closeups you can see here
Trying to sell the results of a god pack. Cards and MSRP listed below based on TCGPlayer
Pikachu EX ($1087)
Mega Dragonite EX ($738)
And Mega Gengar EX (SOLD)
OPEN to price negotiation, but otherwise aiming for at least 80% as a baseline.
I'd love to get an autograph but the VIP price is genuinely life-ending.
I want to see him SO BAD. But I unfortunately teach that evening. To add insult to injury, the building I teach at is literally across the street from the Stage. I’ll be trying to teach English while accordion blasts in the distance.
Short of trying to find someone to replace me for the shift, would it be possible to work with to potentially get merch for me?
If you're like me, you've probably gone scouring for Miraculous fan-comic content sooner or later, and potentially stumbled across Miraculous: Finality, a fan-comic put on DeviantArt by TheSuperiorPasta.
The story is a fan-interpretation of events in the midst of season 3. It's very edgy in the sense that it makes Lila and Gabriel out to be insane head-cases, and focuses a lot more on traumatizing Marinette rather than telling the story.
The author seems unwell, mental health clearly being exacerbated through producing the work (there are so many posts that scream how poorly they're doing). Am I alone in watching this all unfold?
I love this mod. My friend and I recently downloaded it, and we've been on that grind in Survival non-stop. Suffice to say, it rekindled a love of Pokemon and Minecraft in both our hearts.
However, we've run into a bit of trouble with mod updates. I've been trying to install both the Mega Showdown Mod, as well as the Fight or Flight Mod, but both instances have either led to
a) the mod not functioning
or b) the version of the game (1.21.1) not launching at all through Fabric.
Is there anything I'm missing? The base Cobblemon mod works perfectly fine otherwise, but it's the add-ons that aren't kicking in.
I saw this post back when the manga initially ended, and I was LIVID at the idea of it ending like this, yet I couldn’t verify the accuracy of the post since they took the volumes off my local bookstore’s shelves.
Just today, I finally got a copy, and thought the REAL ending of the manga was pretty neat. It wasn’t a kamikaze suicide mission, but a final dramatic clash against the enemy faction. Why the hell would people lie about how it goes?
So yeah, 9x01 kicks off and I'm honestly sick of Harry/Athena disputes. Bro dropped out of high school to get a job at a minimum wage coffee joint and Athena's seen as the bad guy for being a bit reclusive after her husband died. Why???
Athena's gone through a lot, yes, and I'm aware that she isn't a perfect character, but it feels wrong for the narrative to paint this as her fault. This is the THIRD time she's lost a lover (Fiance murder, Michael being Gay, and Bobby dying in the dumbest fashion last season). Why the hell is she getting flak when her son couldn't even do the bare minimum of finishing high school?
Harry's always been a bit of a nothing burger for me, as the majority of his story arcs revolve around him clashing with Athena for being a cop, yet they don't really explore it in a productive manner.
Diana’s pieces haven’t come in for me to customize yet, but we otherwise have 2/3 done! Feel free to ask me anything about the process!
They’re both mighty ferocious.
From how fast it ate them, it must love grapes as much as I do!
So, let me get this straight. Even though all my orders have tracking, they flagged my account, thereby cancelling all listings (including an auction I was a few days close to completing). When I went to handle the concerns immediately, they acknowledge that I don't have any issues (seeing as there was nothing to edit in the first place), yet I have to wait 5 days after my last sale's delivery in order to have my account restored to full usability.
Is there anything I can do to expedite this? Customer Service is genuinely the most unhelpful vessel I've had to deal with, and nobody has been able to help in the slightest.
Hi! I was hoping to attend Fan Expo Philly, but it’s looking like I won’t be able to go. I had a copy of Dungeon Meshi volume one I’ve been trying to get signed by as many cast members as I can, and since Damian Haas is going there, could I see if someone could help me get it autographed?
