First time range trip.

First time range trip.

So on my end, I completely failed. This is my first time taking this set up to the range and I totally forgotten some tools. So I was there to sight in my scope, but I forgot I set up the zero stop on this scope and didn’t have the tools to take it off and then I forgot my lever to open up the adjustable gas block. So pretty much my gun was a bolt action. I put about 20 rounds out there and I can say it’s definitely accurate, but the total failed on my end. The spent cases were not extracting because I had the gas completely closed up. I was so excited to get it out there that I forgot to bring what I needed.

Honey Badger SD

My first two stamper and my first SBR. Really wasn’t that bad. Just need to decide what optic I’m going with.

Recommendations

I need a recommendation for an optic. Something lightweight for hunting.

Finally.

My very first 6 arc rifle and I think it came out pretty sweet. I had some inspiration from some users on here and they were great with all of the messages. I ran by them lol. But it’s basically an LMT upper and lower with a 14.5 proof barrel with the mrp conversion done by D.Wilson. Cat Noah inconel suppressor and NX8 2.5-20 mil-xt scope. Very happy with getting it built up now all there’s left to do is get me a thermal and start slaying some pigs. Eventually, I do plan on putting an acro piggyback in the 12 o’clock position, but my pockets need to recover.

First AK. New to me

New to me. I know nothing about AK’s but I think I did okay. It’s a Kalashnikov USA KR-103. Please feel free to let me know how I did. I also want to put wood furniture on it so please any advice on that would be great.

Lightweight goodness.

Got rid of the wooden stock and went with this carbon fiber and Man. I love how the weight feels almost like a toy gun. Probably going to switch out the scope for a red dot.

Just waiting on my barrel.

Oh, that’s left really minus a few small minor things. It’s just the barrel from D.Wilson. Got a SS proof 14.5 pin and welded. I’m so ready for it to be complete.

Advice.

I’m building a 6 arc rifle for some thermal fun and I’m a little stuck on my choice of thermal. I’m the worst when it comes to making decisions. My budget is up to 3500. I would like one with a range finder function on it. I’ve seen some factory refurbished models that catch my attention I’m a little weary of that idea. So any advice would be great. I live in Texas and that’s where I’ll do my hunting.

Suggestion.

In everyone professional opinion what Cat Noah would you all suggest. I’m leaning on the inconel but everywhere I’m reading the titanium is good for weight savings. This will be my do all rifle. Thermal hunting, long range, running and gunning lol well kinda.

Help please.

So I need some advice, friends. I am looking to start a 6 arc build, and I had it all planned out going 14.5 proof barrel on an LMT rifle. The suppressor I was going with was going to be the CAT Noah, but then I discovered the VB6 and I really am interested in that compact over the barrel suppressor. So with a 14.5 inch barrel and the 13.25 inch LMT handguard. It was a no go then I looked into the spec war and learned that that’s not an option either because proof uses and intermediate gas length system. So I know this is a little wordy, but could you please recommend another barrel that uses the mid length gas system that way I’m able to use a spec war and guard and a 14.5 inch barrel. I would really appreciate it. I was really set on proof research but I don’t want to go longer than 14.5 inch.

I know my bipod is backwards but I have to have it that way to store it in my range case.

Definitely was not expecting this to come in the mail today. The delivery date was supposed to be on the 26th.

I’m thinking of selling this item. (Obviously not on here). But just curious to see its value. Doing some research they seem to be valued all over the place . I’m not trying to get rich just want to know what you all think is a fair price. It’s a gen 5 and unfired.
