Anyone near Atoona PA? I want to join a team, ive gone by myself for the past year but its hard having to do everything yourself. It would be nice to have someone so I could have so much equipment and they could have the other. Plus im at the point ive had too many experiences that have pushed me to my limit that I need someone to be there with me. I mean obviously I still go lol, but i think its getting worse being that over time ive become more scared of evil spirits that they can sense my fear more if that makes sense. When I first started I walked through a place and the catacombs that's incomprehensibly haunted and pitch black perfectly fine. Now it seems like every time I go somewhere I have extreme anxiety and i can't do the exploring I want to or go to where I can feel the most happens. Which I can feel put the most haunted places if that makes sense, im not medium or anything, I consider it luck so far until further proven.

To start off, I was very dumb for going about this the way that I did. I picked way too big, and haunted of a place for my first hunt. And to add to that i went alone, at 8:00pm-4:00am. Its right up the road from where i live so I figured it would be fun.

History: Cresson SCI and Sanatorium was built in 1913 as a taburculosis hospital complete with a post office, store, school, powerplant, chapel, childrens ward, underground tunnels for patient transport, and a nurse training school. After antibiotics were found, it closed. It was then turned into a mental hospital, then a medium security state correctional institute. It finally closed in 2013. Its claimed that over 40,000 people died on the property. (When I was up there we were told at least the taburculosis patients were most likely buried on the property and possibly in mass Graves. Nobody knows where.) Theres a lot more on it this was just to give you an idea of what has happened here.

My aunt was a prison guard during its prison phase and she told me storys about it. She said the tvs and radios would turn on and off, lights would flicker, you could hear voices and children laughing, things would move around, footsteps, apparitions, all the fun things you can think of.

Anyways to the point. I go up and im hunting this massive building by myself, its very easy to get lost in this place so im just walking through with my emf and spirit box seeing what I can get. Then midnight hits, and shit starts hitting the fan. First thing to happen was i felt like it was being watched/followed the whole time, then i find the laundry room and all the doors are opening and shutting and im not in the room im just staring through the doorway at the machines. Then I hear a whisper "come here", at this point in my life Ive watch enough horror movies to never go there lmao. So I start walking away and my flashlight battery dies that was fully charged. So im freaking out pulling my backpack off to pull my extra battery out in the pitch black while the machine doors are still slamming in the back. Next thing you know a thunderstorm starts rolling in, so now im in the pitch black with this poltergeist who is probably feeding off my anxiety or some bs and this thunderstorm is now rolling in. Perfect horror movie death scene. Finally I get the flashlight back on and get out of there. Im excited at this point because ive always wanted to experience something and know it happened without question. Ive had many past experiences but I was either too young to remember and was only told storys or what happened could possibly be debunked. So night goes on and about two hours before my rental is up I hit the kitchen. I dont know where im at on the property i just know its the kitchen, so im looking around then go around this chainlink fence thats half of a hallway wall and the rest of the hall is brick. So I go down this hall thats a dead end except a door on the left. I open the door and its just black, so I shine my flashlight out and its super thick brush for about 50ft or so then you hit the back of the property that then turns into miles of dense forest. Furthest point from any othe humans on the property. So I turn around because I kind of have to, and i hit the chain link fence and I hear this loud crunch in the back of the kitchen. So I look up and shine my flashlight around, see nothing so I figured maybe it echoed off my feet because theres debris everywhere. So I stand there for a few minutes asking questions to see if anything else happens just in case. Nothing, so I point my flashlight down and right in front of me I hear these footsteps like theres another adult in the room with me crunching across the debris filled floor. There's no possible way it was a rat, or a mouse, or any other sort of animal unless it was Bigfoot. So I turn around and run towards the door because I have this invisible thing walking towards me and I step outside, turn around and pull my emf out. It starts out as the second green light, then yellow, and one light at a time keeps getting higher until its bright red. No flickering, just solid red. All power is off to this entire compound. Then I look up at the door and i get this existential feeling of dread and fear, ive never felt anything like it in my entire life. Fight or flight kicks in and I take off through this thick brush that i cant see through and can barely walk through. My emf is still in my hand and it goes down a little bit then goes back up as im running. Finally I find the end of this brush and im in this pitch black area at the farthest point of this property and now im trapped on the longest side of this building, its probably a ten minute walk from where i am back to the beginning of the path to get out of the prison fence back to the parking lot let alone the walk the main path. Then I see this road, so I follow the road looking at my map I see it should take me back to the parking lot. Get to the end and theres a locked gate. After that I somehow ended up in between the two layers of fencing so I either go back and try to find my way back to this road then follow it back to where I began or I keep following this fence right beside the woods in the middle of the allegheny mountains (part of the Appalachian Mountains) and hope theres a way out at the end. I somehow managed to get out but after that I left. I was so mentally exhausted trying to comprehend what had happened in the kitchen. It took me a few days to get back to normal, I couldn't focus, I couldn't think, I wasnt acting right.

Anyways im going back up in three days, so wish me luck lmao. Im going to record the whole thing this time because im sure the story is kind of confusing. Im bad at explaining things lmao.
