Just picked up retro space after hearing good things but was confused about the negative effects of mutimods? Are mutimods permanent and do they all have some set negative effect?

Man oh man has it been a long wait but I’v finally received my revision copies for Darkwood today after months of waiting for LRG to investigate the busted initial release. LRG was surprisingly chill about letting me keep the original 2 copies I bought and sent over the 2 revisions fully sealed and in new cases. I figured they would simply send the discs only but they surprised me.
For anyone who hasn’t been emailed by LRG now is the time to request the reprinted game and if you bought from VGP good luck. My buddy has been fighting with them for nearly 2 weeks trying to get his busted copy refunded or replaced with the revision but they are basically telling him “no”. For once buying direct from LRG paid off.
Has anyone else experienced this? Been a customer for 6 years and never had issues. They sent me a busted game and are now expecting me to pay to return it so they can give me store credit.
This doesn’t seem right. I thought most retailers are responsible for return shipping if an item they sold was damaged or broken.
Been looking to pick up a 360 on eBay and it’s been slightly confusing for somebody who isn’t familiar with the 360 and its many versions. Iv decided to go with the E based on looks alone and can’t seem to figure out if all models have the ability to slot a official Microsoft hard drive in them so I can play original Xbox games on it.
I planned on getting a 250gb model but it seems like most sellers on eBay sell them with 3rd party HDD in them.
The plan is to simply buy a 4gb model then purchase a 250gb official Microsoft HHD to slot into it but I can’t for the life of me figure out if all Xbox 360 E have a bay for a a new HHD.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I mainly want this to play a lot of my original Xbox games that are backwards compatible but I don’t wanna get stuck with a console that won’t let me do that.
Haven’t been able to get a single answer from LRG on what they will be doing to remedy this issue that all the Darkwood ps5 editions still suffer from.

Was curious about the locked side mission if you don’t buy the premium edition. Is this mission worth the added cost? Also how do they go about putting it into the overall game? Is it simply a side quest that pops up during a normal playthrough or is it a dlc type deal that is meant to be played after finishing the game?
I can’t say I’m exactly thrilled how they’ve went about locking launch content behind a more expensive version but I’d like to know if it’s even worth it before I purchase the game.
Remember playing a very simple game that was 100% idle. You had a group of adventures that would clear dungeons and progress through a map until it was completed.
It’s definitely an older game and I remember it being the second game in the series.
It was very old school looking and tbh I can’t remember much about it.
So I recently picked up both lord of shadows games on ps3 and mirrors of fate on 3ds. I’m about done with LoS1 and was wondering if I NEED to experience the dlc for this game before moving on with the series?
I’m a little burnt out on LoS1 sadly. The final 4 hours have kind of become a slog if I’m being truthful but I’m excited to get into mirrors of fate and switch it up.
Do i absolutely need to play the DLC or watch a story video about them before playing mirrors of fate?
Been really wanting to play something similar to these two games for a while now but can’t seem to find anything that captures the same vibes of progression and upgrading your “town”.
Not a very great update but LRG finally emailed me after asking if they would be doing reprints for the broken Darkwood release. Not much of an update but at the very least they are now longer informing emails about the issue.
Hopefully they do a reprint like they have with other broken releases in the past.

Been trying to figure out if the all black defender pro has a softer feeling plastic than the transparent ones.
I’m not a huge fan of that velvety feeling/sanded feeling plastic. Trying to decide between the all black or the transparent grey.
Haven’t really seen much info about the overall texture of each controller.
I know this is a somewhat strange question but if anyone has both the solid black and a transparent one. I’d love to know if they have the same feeling plastic or if they are slightly different.
This was gonna be a haul post but since my copy arrived completely fucked it’s gonna be a rant post about how shit Limited Run Games can be.
They removed the option to pay for a shipping box last year and now ship in a tiny bubble mailer that adds zero protection.
I instantly hit up customer service for a replacement case. They’ve been oddly ignoring a lot of customer service requests over the past month from different people so I’m not holding my breath.
The day this company dies off will be one that I celebrate. This is the 2nd game this year to arrive this way and it could all be avoided if they just shipped in a box.
I’m contemplating just canceling the 10 orders I currently have with them and doing the gamble for those games at VGP stocks.
Sorry for the rant but this company is such a joke and I’m not even sure why iv supported them all these years when they just make bad decision after bad decision.
Edit: well now i feel a bit silly for bitching and moaning. Customer service got back to me a few hours ago and offered a full replacement. Apparently they didn’t have extra sleeves of the version I bought and will be sending me a full unopened replacement. I also get to keep the busted ass one.
For once LRG did right by the customer and I won’t fault them for that.
I recently purchase an item from a well known seller and it was having overheating issues. I was issued a refund and the seller was very nice about it. The refund was processed instantly. The seller did not give me any directions on returning the item.
I wrote them simply asking how will I go about returning the item and they said that I could ship it back if I wanted to and gave me suggestions on the cheapest method to do so.
I was expecting them to send a pre paid shipping label but they did not. I won’t be spending extra money to ship this back.
The refund was processed and the seller didn’t appear to want to send a pre paid shipping label. It’s been a few days since I stated I would send it back if I received a label.
I’m slightly confused as to what I should do? If they don’t message me back with a pre paid label do I simply keep the item? Will I be liable for the items cost if I don’t receive the pre-paid shipping label?
I’m somewhat new to all this and don’t want to get some random charge for the broken item after the seller didn’t offer a pre-paid shipping label. Am I safe to just keep the broken item if they don’t message me back? I have are conversation over eBay messages and not sure how eBay handles this stuff? I don’t want to receive a random charge from the seller if I simply keep the item after they didn’t send a pre-paid shipping label but I will not be shelling out extra money to ship it back myself.

Recently got a new ps3 after many many years and wanted to download all the games I had previously bought. Only problem is I can’t tell what games I actually bought and what was given to me from PS+
I tried using the transaction history but for some reason it doesn’t show me anything before 2019 even when I select a farther date.
Is there any reliable way to check what games I actually own digitally?
Iv used PNP for switch and ps5 games for a few years but noticed they had tons of used ps3 games that seem to be CIB. Iv been looking for any info on how well these games end up looking because sadly they don’t have actual photos for each individual game. I typically go with eBay but PNP seems to have a few games vastly cheaper than eBay and I’m honestly skeptical on the quality of the games they are selling.
So apparently the recent Darkwood release from LRG has game breaking bugs on the disc. Myself and many others have had issues with hard crashing on n multiple parts in the game. A few have messaged LRG and haven’t received any meaningful replies.
Hoping this gets more attention so we can force LRG to do a reprint on the disc.
The odd thing is, the game on disc is actually the most current version of the game. If you delete the game and install the digital version it shows as the same version and it doesn’t have the crashing issues.
This is very odd and makes me assume the issue is somehow only related to the ps5 disc version.
If you’ve had similar issues with the ps5 physical please let me know. I’m trying to figure out if this is simply a small batch issue or if it affects literally all disc versions.
Edit: I should have mentioned this but the in game rain is what seems to trigger the hard crash for most people.
With the news of the ps3 store closing down I was hoping to find a list or information on games that are digital only and have never been ported to modern consoles. I know Rain is one such game but I imagine there are hundreds of hidden gems that simply never got a physical release or modern day port.
Do you guys have recommendations or any info about a proper list of digital only ps3 games?
I know modding is an option but for now I just wanna purchase as many as I can before they pull the store in 2027.

Iv been trying to figure out if the iPhone 17 has sound that comes from the top of the phone. I recently got a new phone and Iv noticed that for videos and games it just doesn’t play sound from the top speaker but only the bottom. It does appear to make sound for ringtones and alerts though so I’m slightly confused.
Is this an issue with my phone or is this normal? I vaguely remember hearing this phone had too and bottom speakers for sound but sadly mine just won’t play sound from the top.
If this isn’t normal is there anyway to troubleshoot it?
