Win max 3 option for 2 more fans??

So basically it ends up having 4 fans? Is that right?

Would the temperature much lower with 4 fans? Or would the fan noise be much louder?

In terms of control, how often do people accidentally press keyboard keys because they are too close to the controller?

Is X2 mini pro too heavy?

I have super V, and it is super heavy.
I was gonna use gamesir8 controller but it blocks the kickstand and holding this super heavy tablet without kickstand would be nearly impossible.
I have an idea of adding a kickstand mod for gamesir8 if someone else is also interested.

Anyway, I was wondering if people use kickstand for X2 mini pro or how they cope with its weight.

How is the quality of controller on win max?

I am interested in win max3 but I dont see an ergonomic grip design and stick positions are hotizontal to the facebuttons. And if something bad happens to them, I dont know if there is even an option to fix them. I would think that detachable controller from onexplayer x2 mini gives an option for different ergonomic as I can switch to their other controller or even use tablet controller with TMR stick to prevent drifting.

Is gpd win max 2/3 screen better for your wrists?

Unlike most handhelds that have facebuttons parallel to the screen, gpd win max has a screen that can change the angle towards you just like nintendo DS/3DS. Do you think this change in angulation of the screen makes your wrist more comfortable and also makes the screen look better with less glare and reflections?

Anyone got both G3E and 388?

I already have a panther lake and still contemplating whether getting 388 device makes sense or not.

I always set the fan speed at the lowest and still try to keep the temperature below 70C. It is achievable with intel using 35W. If I get strix halo, I will most likely use it at 35-45W in order to achieve the same fan noise and temperature result while getting more fps, but idk if that is possible.

If I can get extra 15fps, that is already great as intel runs most games between 45-60fps. 60fps and up is my goal. Too bad Gears E day cant get 60fps in any of the systems.

Do you think the difference between panther and strix halo is not enough to justify buying another device? Should I wait 1-2 more yrs for the next gen? Or maybe get a budget friendly gpd win max 3?

Games I like playing on intel Panther Lake / G3E

The rise of the tomb raider

Doom 2016

Stellar Blade (FSR4)

so far, these three games look pretty decent and maintain 60fps at 1080~1200p or ultrawide 21:9 setting.

I am actually surprised because some other games that look worse runs worse.

Other games I have tested and runs 60fps at 1080~1200p include Hollow Knight, Silksong, Sifu, Red Dead Redemption 1, GTA4.

The last of us part 1, Onimusha demo, Rest for wicked demo have struggled to run (40~60fps).

RE9 is OK and runs above 50fps most of time.

Alan wake 1 is ok. I don't know why it doesn't run smooth as it's an old game.

I will be testing out more games.

Can we use the trackpad for aiming instead of right stick?

I am really bad at aiming with right analog stick and was wondering if I could replace it with the trackpad. If so, do you feel that it is much easier to aim? I am usually better with mouse aiming. Gyro is ok but I have to reset the center every time I use gyro which is a hassle.

How is gpd win 2/3 ergonomics?

I am debating between onexplayer x2 mini pro and gpd win3. GPD is about $700 cheaper based on the rumor. Screen size is slightly bigger on gpd but probably negligible at 0.3” difference.

I am more concerned about ergonomic.

Gpd Win does not look ergonomic at all. And I think my palm near the thumbs can probably press the keyboard accidentally around esc and backspace key area.

And if I keep folding the screen, the hinge area can have a problem based on my past experience.

How was your experience with gpd win 2 in terms of durability, and ergonomic?

What is the best 21:9 ultrawide monitor

I currently use 4 yr old 21:9 qd oled from Alienware.
Compared to my iphone or tablet, the brightness is so low. It almost feels like 400 nits. White color is more like bright grey and some games look washed out.

What is the brightest qd oled 21:9, and will there be a noticable improvement compared to 4 yr old qd oled? Or should I wait for another year?

Why is legion go $1700?

It is weaker than panther lake or strix halo. It uses an outdated Z2E. Panther lake devices with Oled is about $1400. Strix halo win max 3 with oled is expected to be $1700. So if we think about the spec, shouldnt it worth about $600?

I am too powerful, is this it?

I only finished 3 out of 8 stories but already lvl 50 and was able to kill final story bosses easily. I even got two secret jobs. The highest enemy lvl are about 49 and they are all too easy. Will there be enemies with lvl 60-80 later on or is 49 the highest difficulty the game offers?

I am not even half way thru 8 stories but I am worried that it will be too easy.

Lvl 45 bosses r so hard!!

I couldnt kill Throne’s boss so I decided to try the hunter girl (forgot her name) and the dog boss is so tough. They do AOE dmg, hits multiple times back to back, each attack does close to 2-3k dmg which is my max hp. Am I supposed to grind to maybe level50 and try again? I am currently lvl 46.

When can I buy better items?

Hi
I was wondering when I can get better weapons because all the shops are selling under leveled items.
Do they update the list when I reach certain levels?

Also, if I have three weapons and they have three different stats for magic attack, which one of three gets applied casting magic?

4080RTX struggles to run No rest for Wicked.

I have a desktop 4080RTX running at 1440p ultrawide, DLSS balanced.

It usually hits 60fps target but often times drop to 55 FPS.

And when I am in town, it can even drop to 30fps.

I think optimization is a big issue. I have played many games with bad optimization but this is probably one of the worst when it comes to optimization.

4080RTX is not the best, but it is not running at 4K or native. It's 1440p with DLSS, not even quality mode.

I think the optimization is more important than any other updates for 1.0 but I don't read anything about it on the announcement note.

UI looks too small

The UI on the left side looks too small.
I didn’t even notice the rune skill UI on the screen.
Is there a way to enlarge it? I also think the font size needs to be bigger.

eGPU on handhelds?

It requires oculink, thunderbolt5, or usbC 4 V2 for max performance, but I dont think handhelds got any of these. Is it a bad idea to consider egpu for handhelds?

noob questions

Most, if not all soul games replenish HP and respawn enemies at bonfire.

Is this game also like that? I found bonfire for cooking and shiny fast travel ports but none of them replenishes my HP. Do I have to rely on cooking and eating to heal?

Also, do I have to pick up all items and sell all that I am not using or is there a filter to pick up certain rarity items only?

And is there a stat that tells you total attack or defense stats?

Is the system requirement too high?

I thought the requirement would be lower than most games because it looks like Ori graphic from 10 yrs ago and also top down view. But this definitely has high requirement than most gamed I have played in recent years. Do you think the game is not optimized? Is there a chance the FPS will increase by alot?
