Have 6, need it down to 5

So I currently use the following:

  1. Weed
  2. Kanna
  3. Kava (Heady Kava)
  4. Blue Lotus
  5. Damiana
  6. Wild Dagga

The only thing is I want to shrink this list down to 5 (Just because I feel like 6 is to much).

My main goal is to have a roster of herbs that cover all different situations and also get me a buzz/high (since I’m using these 6 purely for recreational uses)

If you can help me, I would really appreciate it!! Again I love this subreddit and it’s done so much for me and I always thank you all!!

Wild Dagga vs Damaina (Potency)

I'm trying to figure out if I want to do Damiana or Wild Dagga, I think at this point it comes down to which one gives me the strongest effect, so can anyone who has taken both (Whether smoked or some other way (I don't know another way)) let me know which one had more noticeable effects?

Herbs for Unique High (Different than Pot)

I’ve looked through this subreddit dozens of times, and every time I see a “herbs for high” post, it’s simply just weed alternatives or something for sleep.

I don’t want to come off as rude and please please do not take it this way! But for me personally, if I wanna smoke weed, imma smoke weed, and I’m kinda looking for some herbs that give me kinda fun and different highs for when I’m bored or just wanna simply have fun (no sleep aids please)

Again, I love this subreddit so much, so PLEASE help me out, thank you!!

Lotus, Damiana, Dagga extract?

Ive smoked Damiana, Wild Dagga, and Blue Lotus and all of the effects were always super subtle, and I’m wondering if anyone can answer my questions:

  1. Is there anyway to really enchance these effects?

  2. Does anyone know where to buy reliable extracts? (And please let me know how your supposed to take the extract)

Thank You!!

Does Kanna get you high?

Ive done marijuana for a while, but I’m looking for some different effects, not a replacement for weed.

So I was just wondering is Kanna unique from weed (and if so how is it different) or if Kanna is more of a weed alternative.

Please let me know!

How Is Auburns Party Scene

Hey everyone, I’m nearly set on Auburn. The academics are great, the campus is gorgeous with that classic small-town feel, and honestly, everything else about it seems amazing.

That said, I’m trying to get a realistic read on one specific thing: the party culture.

I've looked it up on Google and asked around, and a common narrative is that Auburn's party scene is pretty quiet compared to other massive SEC schools. I know it's obviously not going to be like Tuscaloosa/Alabama, but I'm trying to figure out if the parties here are actually good and fun, or if they're just kind of eh, whatever.

One of my main goals for college is to make great memories and have some wild, unforgettable times. I do have a slight worry about how small the town is, and whether nightlife options get repetitive fast.

For current students or recent grads: What is the reality of the social and party scene here? Can you actually find insane nights and great parties, or do you have to work super hard for it? Would love to hear your honest thoughts before I lock things in.

Which Herbs Help Me Not Give A Shit

I’m 20, and whenever I finally sit down at the end of the day to chill, watch TV, or play video games, I get this weird, heavy sense of dread. It feels like my time is somehow running out and I'm wasting my life away, even though I logically know I'm young.

More than that, I am just so tired of constantly overthinking everything. I'm exhausted from worrying about what to say to people, second-guessing myself, and carrying all this mental weight. I genuinely just want to get to a point where I can stop caring so much, go out, have a good time, and just do what I want to do without constantly analyzing every little thing.

To put it flat out there, I just don’t wanna give a shit anymore, I wanna do what I wanna do, when I wanna do it, and not give a fuck about anything else

Does anyone have any herbs that can help them just slow down and enjoy life?? If so PLEASE PLEASE tell me!

How Is The Town?

I am honestly in love with the school of Auburn University. Beautiful campus, Happy Student Body, ETC.

I have one worry with the school however, and that is the town...

I honestly like spontaneous adventures, I like being bored one day and just deciding to go bowling, or get ice cream, ETC. I think my biggest fear is getting bored over the 4 years at Auburn University, I may be completely wrong.

I am currently between Tennessee, South Carolina, Bama, and Auburn, and I feel like out of the four Auburn lacks variety and things to do the most of these four. I mean all of them seem to (On Paper) have more to do than Auburn because they are in bigger towns or cities.

If you were a past or present Auburn student. PLEASE tell me your experiences, if you ever got bored or if there was always enough to do. That's honestly one of my biggest fears is getting bored, so please let me know if you ever got bored or if you were always quite entertained. Thank You!!

Questions about Wild Dagga and Damiana

So, I’ve been messing around with herbs and the next two I want to try are Wild Dagga and Damiana. I have two main questions.

  1. What were the effects for either?

  2. (Most Important) How potent was it, this one I am incredibly worried about, my goal is to smoke these two and feel a mild high while still not being intoxicated, but I’ve heard that there are no effects. Can someone put these two on a scale of 1-10? (1 being sober 10 being weed)

Herbs to Enchance things?

Im not sure if there are any herbs like this? But pretty much I have my calming herbs, and now I’m looking for herbs that sort of enchance your senses, for example, music seems better and your more invested in music. Or the nature seems more beautiful and you can’t take your eyes off of it. Those are just two examples. If you have any recomendations like that PLEASE let me know!! I just want to appreciate things more yk (also let me know if you drink or smoke them)

Herbs for Chilling?

Ive tried herbs, and currently take a mixture of Lemon Balm, Passionflower, Skullcap, and Blue Vevarium.

The only problem with these being that I can’t really feel a high, I’m sure they’re working, but I feel as though they are working in the background. Keep in mind I love these herbs to death, but I was looking for something I can smoke, drink, ETC for when I’m just hanging out and chilling (Expesially at night because I get anxious thinking about the future and bigger questions (like what happens after death)) or going out with some friends to go play mini golf.

To be honest, I have no clue if this post made any sense, basically I’m asking for something I can take (preferably smoke) that will honestly lighten my mood and make me happier while help push out background thoughts.

Question about Herbs

Hello, I'm currently a college student and am incredibly interested in herbs. For some context, I have never tried anything, never once drank or did weed or anything. But I do want that to change. Some current herbs I'm looking at include:

  1. Damiana
  2. Blue Lotus
  3. Lemon Balm
  4. Passion Flower
  5. Wild Dagga

I do have extreme social anxiety (Due to some past bullying) and I generally overthink things a lot, to be honest, I'm looking for things to slow me down, I'm constantly stressing about something or looking at my future or the past, and just want to live in the moment, I also want to become more social.

My only concern with herbs is that you cannot notice them, I have heard people talk about alcohol and marijuana and hear that they made them feel noticibely different. I don't know if I want to be out out of it, but I definitely want to feel the effects of it WHILE being able to function (Like smoking an herb before going to hangout)

I know I want to try Alcohol, Marijuana, and Kava in college, PLEASE anybody who has experience with the 5 that I previously mentioned let me know your experiences, I'm looking for answers to:

- How did it make you feel

- How strong was it

Can't really think of any other questions, but yeah I'm just looking to chill out AND HAVE A GOOD TIME during college, PLEASE if you have tried them and have any recommendations, PLEASE let me know.

P.S. Idk if any of you have watched Road Trip, but when Josh is smoking with the Grandpa and he says "To be honest, the only thing that could ever balance be out was weed" I'm kinda looking for something like that. (Sorry if that was random)

What's a solid 7th school that fits me?

So I plan to study Environmental Science next year, I currently have 6 schools I'm applying to but I want to apply to 7. My current list is as follows:

  1. University of Tennessee
  2. University of South Carolina
  3. Auburn University
  4. University of Alabama
  5. University of North Carolina Wilmington
  6. University of Georgia

For this 7th option, I am looking for another larger University that feels lively and fun, sort of staying in line with the SEC/ACC vibe and has a variety of things to do around and in the university (My biggest fear is being trapped in a boring environment), Im also not a huge drinker (Even though I do like to go and party from time to time again) so having some options outside of that may be nice ALTHOUGH ITS NOT A DEALBREAKER!! I know I want easier admissions (50% or higher) for this last option.

If you have ANY recommendations PLEASE leave them below!!

How is Clemson (The Town)?

I am truly considering Clemson for college next year (Environmental Science Major). I love the SEC (I know they're in the ACC but they feel like SEC) culture of the school. The lively campus with Lake Hartwell on campus. The overall feel of campus seems amazing and the nature seems phenomenal (Along with the happy student body). I have one concern though. Outside of nature and the campus, what is there to do?? I appreciate variety (Growing up in a rural New England town you get bored) and I'm just incredibly worried that if I do go to Clemson I may get bored (Since im not a huge drinker) I was just wondering if there were things to do outside of drink like movies, mini golf, ETC.

If you are or were a Clemson student please let me know your experiences with the University/Town. I would love to fall in love with Clemson, I think I just need to hear some peoples experiences. THANK YOU!!

What are some Fun Colleges for Marine Science?

I’m looking for colleges with a strong Marine Science/Marine Biology program, but I also care a lot about the overall college experience.

Here’s what I’m looking for:

  1. Strong marine science program with opportunities for research and field work.
  2. Large student body (roughly 20,000+ students).
  3. Classic American college atmosphere with lots of school spirit, football, and traditions.
  4. Friendly, happy student body where people are social and there’s always something to do.
  5. A beautiful campus with lots of green space.
  6. A town or city nearby with restaurants, coffee shops, mini golf, bowling, movie theaters, and other things to do off campus.
  7. Warm climate (I’d rather avoid long, cold winters).
  8. Good value for an out-of-state student, with decent merit scholarship opportunities.

I’m less concerned about the school being directly on the beach than I am about having a great college experience while still getting a strong education that can lead to a career in marine ecology or oceanography.

Based on that, what colleges would you recommend?

Marine Classes?

Im considering going to Ole Miss for college next year, however, while I do plan to study environmental science, I was hoping to put a marine focus on my environmental science studies to help me secure a coastal job in the future. Has anyone taken these classes before and if so, are they good classes for trying to secure marine environmental jobs?

Alternatives to FSU?

I love FSU, I’m going to study environmental science (with a marine science focus) and minor in film. I mean FSU has that lively campus, fun college experience im looking for. However, my chances of getting in are very low, I’m just wondering if there’s any other alternatives to Florida State that hold the same large school big hype energy?

P.S. I’m looking at Tennessee, South Carolina, Auburn, Georgia, and Alabama as other alternatives, I was just wondering if you guys could recommend me a solid 6th option.
