Need help finding less powerful dishwasher detergent

My dishwasher keeps leaking. The maintenance guys have come several times to fix it and they said it’s probably the detergent at this point. I guess it's excessive suds? The detergent I'm currently using is Cascade Platinum Plus. The dishwasher is a GE 500 I think. Any suggestions for detergents that will stop the dishwasher from leaking?

Why isn't season 1 available on dvd anymore?

I can only find season 2 on blu-ray available at official distributors. Meanwhile season 1 is being sold for over $100 on eBay because it's gone everywhere else. What happened?

What mangas do you hope get a English license?

Tokyo Crazy Paradise is probably my favorite shoujo ever and I'm constantly wishing I could own it physically. I know it's a josei but Gokusen! It's been licensed in French so why not English?! And Glass Mask but that's never happening :( I also started reading Sanju Mariko (josei) and I'm obsessed with the writing style.

FL with tragic past

Where are the modern shoujo mangas that have a tragic female lead?? We used to have Fruits Basket, Mars, Kodocha, Full moon o Sagashite, etc. Nowadays the protagonists in shoujo manga just seem so normal. They’re just regular people going to school. Are there any new shoujo manga that stand out and have a female lead with tragic past?

[US][BUYING] Victoria's Electric Coffin 1-3

I am looking for Victoria's Electric Coffin volumes 1-3 and the cover can't be cut short. It's a frequent problem I've come across. I'm only looking for manga where the pages are covered completely.

Any manhwa similar to Mother’s Contract Marriage

I really liked the beginning where we got to see the daughter be fiercely independent and cope by imagining the bad things as fairy tale scenarios. I found it very refreshing, especially with the genre being oversaturated at this point. But it didn’t really maintain my interest past those first few chapters. Are there any manhwa that continue with this plot line? Especially where they ‘hallucinate’.

Saint tail anime vs manga

I’ve read the manga for saint Tail and am thinking about giving the anime a try. But people say there’s a lot of filler in it and it disrupts the story. So should I skip those? What episodes are filler?

Cute, charming movies that remind you of DCOMS

Watched Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century over the weekend and it made me miss movies like that. Disney channel original movies where the characters have chemistry and the plot is simple, but engaging. Like who doesn’t like High School Musical? Or Lemonade Mouth?

So any recommendations for movies that are similar to DCOMS?

Non-isekai villainous/misunderstood FL

So I watched Descendants Wicked Wonderland and I thought the main character Red was interesting in that people misunderstood her on a fundamental level, like none of the characters really know Red, just have a one-dimensional view. And there's also the whole thing of her growing up abused and afraid of her mom.

So I'm looking for recs where the Female Lead is villainized and has traumatic past. The closest example I can think of is A Devil and Her Love Song. Stuff like that.

Renter friendly Billy bookcase hack?

Finally got some Billy bookcases but I’m worried about them tipping over since they’re sitting on carpet- not the flattest surface. My lease explicitly says I can’t drill holes into the wall so does anyone know some other method of anchoring them? And have actually done so?

RWBY volume 1 blu-ray audio

I bought the old volume 1 blu-ray because I like the cover art more than the viz media edition. Except just in the first episode I notice the audio quality fluctuates. Sometimes it’s normal and sometimes it’s quieter than it should be. The YouTube episode doesn’t have this problem. Is it a problem of this blu-ray edition and I should get the viz media one?

Edit: Decided to return it because idk why audio is so weird. If it’s just incompatible, more reason to return it because I have no other way to play it.

Rich Girl FL with hidden side

For some reason I really like rich girls that act all snotty and superior when they actually have a bunch of problems in their life. Like Pacifica Northwest (Gravity Falls), Jackie Burkhart (that 70s show), and Go Hye Mi (Dream High). And then it’s fun to see them at their lowest and the way they persevere because they aren’t afraid to put in the work when it comes down to it. Any manga with female leads like that?

Where have all the poor female leads gone?

Back in my day (lol) we had Koh Eun-chan of Coffee Prince and Cha Eun-sang of Heirs struggling to make ends meet. As in having to work MULTIPLE part-time jobs struggling. The fear of eviction and going hungry hanged over their heads. Sleep was a foreign concept.

Nowadays, we don't see female leads with such bad finances. Sure the chaebol and commoner trope still exists, but the female lead is like middle class/comfortable. She's not hustling like Koh Eun-chan and Cha Eun-sang had to do.

Are truly poor female leads no more?

dream high love triangle observation

I’m only up to episode 6 so take what I say with a grain of salt but,,,, how do I explain this,,, Sam-dong has his own plot line separate from Hye-mi and Jin-guk.

Sam-dong’s plot line is all about becoming the greatest idol. The plot line of Hye-mi and Jin-guk is them growing together as people and finding comfort in each other. >!Yes I know who the endgame is because I was spoiled. This is a different matter.!<

Sure the plot lines intersect, but it feels like Sam-Dong’s feelings for Hye-mi are not given as much weight as him becoming a singer. More time is spent on his relationship with his mom and HER feelings about music than Hye-mi. She ends up taking a backseat in his story. But Hye-mi needs someone that will stick around and not leave her >!like her parents!<.

Meanwhile, Hye-mi and Jin-guk are very much wrapped up in each other- their plotlines are tightly linked. This allows them to see the other at their rawest and understand the other in a way that no one else does. Without the rose tinted glasses/idealization that Sam-Dong and baek-hee had.

Anyway, where I am in drama, it feels like Hye-mi and Jin-guk have splintered off from Sam-dong in the love triangle. It would be all too easy for Sam-dong to give up on Hye-mi and dedicate himself entirely to music. >!Especially after the teacher’s efforts to put on a fake showcase.!<

I could say a lot more about the relationships themselves, but let’s just focus on the plot. Hye-mi and Jin-Guk are a unit while Sam-Dong has enough of a story arc to stand on his own as a character. >!Sadly there will be no payoff and the writers will disregard all of this.!<

Incoming Graduate Student Part-Time Jobs

I'm an incoming graduate student who did NOT get a graduate assistantship so I'm in desperate need of a part-time job. But the Georgia hourly wage is crazy. Why are there $12/hr jobs??? The minimum hourly wage in New York is $16/hr. Are there any decent paying part-time jobs for graduate students out there?

RWBY physical media

Is it worth buying RWBY volume 1-3 on dvd if they're still on Youtube? Or is there a possibility they'll be taken down someday? Well, there's also the internet archive that has up to volume 5...

I'm big on physical media but this seems like a case of "not behind a paywall so no worries"

Games with romance subplots

I've really liked games like Fire Emblem Awakening, Jack Jeanne, and Coral Island where there's stuff to do outside of the romance. I just don't find it that interesting when the game is focused only on relationships. I prefer to have a physical copy of the game (PS5 and Switch user).

[I already own Baldur's Gate 3, Persona 3 Portable, Story of Seasons, Rune Factory 4, Fire Emblem Fates, Fire Emblem Three Houses, and Prinny Presents NIS Classics Volume 3: La Pucelle: Ragnarok / Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure]
