Just finished a vanilla campaign, hella good game, and was looking through the DLCs but some have really bad reviews, there is a combo too, but IDK if it's worth it, or is just better to pick up only the good ones.
What do you recommend?
We know the new Ezekiel Rules, he gets the stats increase and:
The Book of salvations gives +1 to the whole unit, without the battle shock part.
His mind wipe now is close quarters.
And now the important part, he is a lvl 3 psyker, that means he can cast up to 3 lvl 1 powers.
His two powers are:
-1 to be hit, works in shooting and melee (lvl 1)
Force battle shock (lvl 1)
He can cast -1 to be hit twice in your opponent's turn, once in the shooting phase and stacking with cover, and again in the fight phase.
The Aphotecary can be attached to the bladeguards for a d3+1 heal.
And the bladeguards can choose -1 to be hit on melee or +1 to hit.
With this 3 units you can have a block with a base stat of:
6" t5 3+/4++ w3
-2 to be hit in shooting
-1 to be wounded if the strength is more that their T (Wrath of the rock)
+1 to hit in melee
+1 attacks in melee
That can Battle-shock enemies without loosing the hidden
With 6A +2 S5 -2 2 + Ezekiel + Aphotecary (remember the reductor would be 2 attacks AP -4 DMG 2).
You can still match this with ICCTF for a +1 to wound against thinks in objectives, but tacticus attack force for a 6" Scout + Re-roll advances + sustains/letals or an interruption for 1cp.
If you feel the Aphotecary is too much healing, you can always use an Ancient that gives them +1 attacks when they are in a objective.
So that would make the unit having 36 attacks on hitting on 2+

I know the codex is released next month, but a guy is selling 6 of these guys for $40 so I was thinking if it is worth it to get them.
I understand the ability with +1 to the ap, but I struggle to see what you could use them against, I'm guessing hordes, but don't have blast like the heavy bolters eradicators.
What do you think? I still need to add some Astrogranite and paint the edge of the base, but I think it looks pretty good.

Looks like Liberdarmonica will give us the shields for our new Vanguard vets.
I don't have any contact, or affiliation with this people, just think the shields look sick.
And a lot of people thought the same on the last post.

If you like me we're waiting to build your 20 vanguard vets, now we have an idea, now you need to take this post with care cause we know that GW makes mistakes on these things.
The Armageddon box comes with a blade, looks like it will be the main weapon for the vanguard vets, apparently we can mix it with a shield, hopefully we can get blade+shield with no guns, or blade + gun with no shield.
The Sargent can get a blade, a hammer or a power fist, and him and up to 2 Marines per every 5 on the unit can have plasma pistols so up to 3 plasmas in one unit.
As a DA player makes me happy to get more plasma, but as a Vengeful Host detachment lover I also like sword + shield.
But I feel that finally I can start building this guy's, but feel bad that the armaggedon box didn't bring the 3 plasmas for the VV unit now I have to kitbash some guns on those guys that I just finished paint
Is there any CRPG but instead of a party it's just your character? I understand I can solo run things like BG3 but the game is not made or balanced for that, so you really miss a lot of content in it.
Feel Mechanicus standard grey is maybe to grey, or do you use something more like lead belcher?

I'm trying to get some Dark angel dice, to complete my three armies, IK, RG and DA, but damn I'm new in the game but why are the dice sellers so weird.
The IK and RG came in a box of 16, I found the 16 DA box for $150, I guess is comes with a Chaplain to bless the dice, a Librarian for the 6s and a beard hair from the Lion himself.
And the found a pack of 20 for a third of the price, but 20 is more than 16, I can let 4 outside but I think on it and feel bad to do it.
Give me the damn codex so I can get some Centurions and build my Vanguards Veterans, and give Phobos to Aethon Shaan

All that sounds epic if you just go deploying ur units like: This is Azrael's unit, and this is Belial's unit (sounds better in Spanish, don't ask me why)
But the only viable ones are Azy, Sammy and some people don't even play with Mr. Johnson.
Trying to see if you use any of our other epic heroes and in what units.
Belial is cheap, but can't carry enhancements, his rule swings too hard and I would like to set him up with DWK but DWK wants to go against vehicles.
Asmodai gives re-rolls hits but no +1 to wound, and, for now we have oath, and gives CP but Azy already gives CP.
Ezekiel +1 attacks on melee, but doesn't give invul to the unit like a regular librarian.
Lazarus honestly, like Ezekiel sounds good with some bladeguard, but for what I want to use bladeguard?
Just "finished" this JPI but ran out of basing materials. What do you think?
