I hate when heels get treated unfairly.

I hate when heels get treated unfairly, and everyone acts like they’re automatically wrong just because they’re the heel. A good example is the Raw GM making Sami defend on Raw while Roman only had to wrestle a handful of times a year. And this isn’t even a rant about Roman it’s about fairness. When a heel says, “This is unfair,” people treat it like he’s just whining, but sometimes he’s actually right.

The gingerbread man thing was funny because it wasn’t for the top belt, so whatever that one I can let slide. And clearly it was meant to be funny. But with the WWE title situation, Sami genuinely had a point.

When he was the referee, he called everything straight. Cody shoved him for making the correct call. Gunther shoved him for making the correct call. And Nick didn’t really do anything about either situation.

Now Sami wins the title, and once again, he’s right. Jey is his boy. Sami never tried to take the belt off Jey when Jey was champion, but the first thing Jey does is come after him.

I know the joke is that Sami is “the last good guy,” but honestly, at this point, he kind of is.

When Black Men Cry, the Internet Laughs

I was thinking about the Crying Jordan meme, and honestly, there is something toxic and racialized about it that does not get talked about enough.

A Black man showed emotion after achieving something almost nobody on Earth will ever accomplish, and that image got turned into a joke for years. It was not just “Michael Jordan cried.” It became a whole internet language for failure, embarrassment, and humiliation.

That says something about how people react when Black men show emotion. Even positive emotion, pride, grief, or vulnerability can get twisted into something shameful. Black men are often expected to be strong, cool, angry, or emotionally controlled. The moment they show something outside of that, people mock it.

You see something similar with Kawhi Leonard laughing. This is a guy known for being quiet and almost emotionless in public. He laughs one awkward time, and people meme it forever. It is like Black men are not allowed to just be human without it becoming content.

Is anyone just not feeling season 8

Like starting season 7 had me excited, but this season is just blah, and the season store hasn't been good since season 6. I get last season's people graduating and stuff, but I don't even get the theme this time.

Why would an anole be gray ?

The other day, I was taking out the trash around midday in the Carolina heat (just in case that matters), and I noticed some anoles that were gray not brown, but gray. What could cause that?

Do you own a cat, or know any other Black guys who do?

I was scrolling and saw a GIF of Winston from New Girl. His whole thing was that he had a cat he loved, and that got me thinking: I do not think I have ever had a friend who owned a cat.

Do you own a cat, or do any of your friends have cats? Because I know more brothers who own snakes than cats.

Repost because I had a typo in the title.

EDT : It is cool to see all of the people here with cats.

Not listening to Worf in Cause and Effect is absolutely infuriating.

Honestly, not listening to Worf in Cause and Effect is infuriating. I get that the joke is if they listened to Worf, the episode would be over, but this time it just feels maddening. There is literally no reason to think that going back is what put them in the time loop. They would only have had to reverse course because something was already wrong, so if nothing had been wrong, they wouldn’t have needed to reverse course in the first place. So logically, going back wouldn’t be what caused the loop. *Edited for grammar .

Or hell, they could’ve just had the computer generate random headings. Instead, they fly straight into the same trap they know has trapped them before, like lemmings. And the hand‑waving explanation of “oh, going back might have gotten us stuck here”… no. You wouldn’t have had to go back at all if everything was fine. And hell come to think of it lemmings don't even do that.

What type of pictures should I use for a dating profile ?

I’m thinking about trying a dating app, and I need some suggestions for which pictures to use. Here are the ones I’m considering:

One of me getting out of my Jeep , gives off that “he’s adventurous and outdoorsy” vibe.

One of me holding my lizard, shows I’m caring and good with animals.

One of me doing a deadlift ,highlights that I’m active and strong.

One of me cooking , shows I can take care of myself and have some skills in the kitchen.

What do y'all think? Like all of these could be horrible if so let me know, I can start from zero.

Jax is better with exoskeleton arms.

https://preview.redd.it/fanoljeo6v6h1.jpg?width=188&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=880beb2208b795585ad574f88297a3f3eb6feaf6

I think Jax works better as a character when his arms are more like exoskeleton enhancements or metal coverings, rather than full robotic replacement arms.

The whole point of Jax was that he was one of the strongest humans on Earth. He was already a powerhouse before anything was added to him. The metal arms should enhance what is already there, not replace the thing that made him impressive in the first place.

When he is basically doing everything because of robotic arms, it kind of undercuts the character. Him being this huge, jacked soldier matters less if the strength is mostly coming from machines. But if the arms are armor, reinforcement, or an exosuit built around his own strength, then it keeps the core idea intact Jax is still a beast, the tech just makes him even more dangerous.

My turtles pulled their carpet into their tank can I keep it there?

And it looks like they moved to on top of it so will would not float up. Like this was intentional by them.

Who is the worst friend (as in buddy or pal) in sitcom.

People always talk about the best sitcom friendships, like Shawn and Gus or J.D. and Turk. Like an relationship that have issue , but you know these guys would take a bullet for each other.

But that got me thinking who are some of the worst friends in sitcoms?

A few come to mind for me. Jazz from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is one. He is funny, but he is mostly a troublemaker, and I honestly cannot think of many times where he does anything truly positive for Will.

I don’t know if cartoons count, but the friend group from The Proud Family has to be up there too. Besides Zoey, most of them are terrible friends, and Penny does not fully escape that either. But Dijonay? Holy heck, she was awful. She might be one of the worst friends I can think of.

Black people boosting up induesties but not getting the awards.

I came across a video that inspired me to think about this topic, though linking it isn’t really necessary,, just giving credit. The video discusses how Black people helped save French liquor, and it also highlights the major role Black consumers played in helping Cadillac survive.

Then you think about things like UPN, which was built heavily on the backs of Black shows, only for Black audiences and Black creators to be pushed aside later.

It got me thinking about how often Black capital goes outside of the community and helps fuel other industries without really helping us in return. At least with Cadillac and some liquor brands, part of their growth came because they actually served Black customers when others would not. That is not ideal, but they benefited from being decent to us.

But now I look at the trend of boosting brands like Gucci and so many others that do little or nothing for the Black community, and it feels like our cultural and financial power is being wasted. Am I wrong in thinking we should do more with our captail . But the thing is what can you do . If we are going to support a brands , if they are not from the community that should help the community I don’t know how you manage this, especially since there are so many big companies that seem to own everything now.

Should I stick with my current player or invest in this new build for online play?

I’ve been doing pretty well online with my current player, but when I get smoked, I get totally wrecked Snoop Dogg and Willie Nelson smoked. It’s not even funny. Since I’ve only been playing for about two months, it could be a skill issue, or maybe my build just isn’t that great. Should I change build for my online play?

Twitter is a cesspool .

I hadn’t been on there in a while, but I went back to discuss something, and the level of racism on that platform is honestly unreal. It’s pathetic watching people support leaders and movements that harm their own lives, then turn around and blame Black people because they need a scapegoat.

That kind of hatred is weak, it’s miserable, and it says far more about them than it does about us. The funny thing is, I can’t even get angry because it’s like you can’t be mad at a dingo for being what it is. You just have to know to stay away from them. Does anyone else avoid that platform?

What type of wings should I have next week.

I want to do wings every day next week, but I don’t want to repeat the same one twice. Any ideas for what I could add to the list?

So far I’ve got Sweet Chili with Kikkoman sauce, Lemon Pepper wings for my lemon pepper steppers, and Chinese takeout‑style wings. And I am doing them all in air fryer so I hope that turn out good .

And here’s a picture of those wings with 10‑calorie rice.

Block people....for your health.

I have been talking to some people defending what the courts did to the Voting Rights Act, and it has been the normal stuff: “Oh, you are the real racist,” “Black people are better off,” blah blah blah.

All I did was point out where they was wrong. Then, once I saw him just BSing instead of actually engaging, I said, “You are wrong,” and blocked him.

I promise, it will make you feel so much better than going around endlessly with horrible people who are not arguing in good faith.

Is this a good power forward?

I had a different build, but I was informed that he wouldn't do well when I started playing online. So I have been watching some builds online, and this one. Does this seem like a good character for facing real people. Online with my current guy I am like 1-3 .

Something I love about Law and Order, and I know it’s just to get the story moving, is how random people always remember someone they only saw for a second. Or they have some in-world story that gives them an excuse... “Yeah, I remember these two. They were yelling about the carburetors in the middle of the restaurant.”
