So overwhelmed in what to chose. Why did you pick local storage over cloud storage?

I like what I’m seeing with Rio Link and I like that they don’t offer subscription for their products. However, I do like the fact that with cloud storage surveillance, if someone does destroy your surveillance device, you’ll have the footage stored in a cloud that can be used as evidence for later.

Why do you prefer local storage over cloud storage?

I was also looking at some surveillance by Honeywell, but I’m not sure.

Fuck I love this van.

Been driving it to work and she keeps up with traffic just fine. Love the 1300cc for the 90HP. Been taking her on the interstate but I mostly keep it at 105 - 110 kph.

Excellent cargo space. Not the best though. Mitsubishi Townbox Wide has the win for that. Gotta shoot a video for a road trip in this thing.

Got some dollies for my Prius C from the Toyota Aqua

I don’t know why, but ever since I visited Japan and would ride in the Japanese taxi cabs, I’ve always been a sucker for the white dollies. I always try to find a set for my Toyota’s when I can, so when I purchased my Prius C, I was curious to see if the Toyota Aqua had one and they did so I had to get it.

The outer head rest in the rear seats are different from the Toyota Aqua as they use the center head rest for all three. But that’s an easy fix. I’m off to the junkyard to see if I can find any salvageable headrest for Toyota seats or maybe eBay. ☺️☺️☺️

My Suzuki Every + 😃

I really hate that this brand is no longer present in the United States. When I think of it, I can’t even recall the last time I’ve seen a Suzuki on the road. They’re very scarce, but the few that I have seen are still holding up very well.

Anyway, the kei van movement is steadily growing in popularity in the United States but I find that 1300 cc vans are far more practical. This seats seven people and gets 90 HP.

My Suzuki Is very +

Cool 1300cc mini van that seats 7 people. Love it and has working cassette player. Really wish we had these in the USA.

Follow up to an earlier post today, I pulled the trigger and purchased a cool Suzuki Every +😌

She’s a seven seater minivan that gets 90 HP and has a working cassette player!

And only has 33,000 miles on it I couldn’t be happier.

I really want a Kei truck/van, but with the price these things are starting to become, is it worth it?

I like the Honda Acty in a manual. I haven’t decided if I wanna go with the van or a truck. It would not be a main vehicle for me, but with the average price that they run for, and the little horsepower you get, I just don’t see the point in getting one

I’m better off going to a used dealership or Facebook marketplace and paying the same price for a pre-2011 Ford Ranger, or a Chevy S10 that I can at least drive on the highway.

Am I silly for feeling this way? I know these things are niche and appeal to a small segment of people but holy shit.

My first hybrid! A Prius C of course

Traded my beautiful Toyota Celsior, because it ended up becoming my daily due to unforeseen circumstances. And as much as I thoroughly enjoyed driving it for the comfortability, it was just too painful at the pump.

They originally had it listed for $17,795.
Negotiated it down to $15,850.
Offered my Celsior for half that price.

After taxes and fees, I only owe $8600 on it. And the car only has 71,000 miles on it. Well taken care of and a lifetime engine warranty.

I am loving it. I drove 64 miles back home and I haven’t even lost a bar on the fuel gauge display. 🥹

Traded my gas guzzling, Celsior for a 2014 Prius C!!!

Using my 98 Celsior as a daily

Man what can I even say about this beauty. Was driving my ‘89 Camry but the transmission gave out. Luckily I have these two girls on standby. Dusted her off and I’ve been driving her as a daily to work. Long commutes but driving is so therapeutic to me, I enjoy it.

Obviously the milage is horrible. I typically get 23 mpg going 68mph, but it is what it is. Thinking about selling the Crown for a hybrid or a Prius, but I know I’ll regret it and I love my Crown way more than my Celsior too 😜.

Anyways, shout out to Lexus for making such an incredible car. She has 80,000 miles on it. Hopefully I can someday join the 400k club. 🥹

But I really wanna get a die hot to try seven or the rebadged Toyota Sparky. HELP!!!

I think I have an addiction.

My little CRT. 1987 Mitsubishi CS-2012RA

Photos just don’t do it justice. I turned off the TV for a crisp look. However, it shows the movie I have on Crystal clear.

I wish we still had large selections of Mitsubishi products to choose from. It sucks seeing them such a shell of themselves in the US. Oh well.

Did you guys replace your old appliances that came with your old homes?

I have a washer and dryer that appears to be at least more than seven years old. I really don’t like the idea of washing my clothes in someone else’s old appliance, but some people have recommended keeping them until they croak.

Help! Landscaper is trying to strong arm me into letting him put down KY 31 grass.

I’m learning a lot about lawn care and landscaping. But I don’t have anything at the moment to start. I found some really great websites here in this group to order some grass seeds with, but the landscaping company that’s going to finish off the yard following the repairs I had to my septic system is insisting on receding my backyard with fescue grass.

I really don’t want the same boring green grass that literally everyone around me has. And he seems pretty intent on finishing up the space with that. I really hope I can stand my ground and tell him no. I believe he was hired from the previous owners of the home as a part of closing agreements.

Trash removal services denied 🥲

I just moved to Danville and so far I really love the town in the area, but I have learned that when I applied for waste removal services for my address it’s outside of Danville city limits. I was referred to first Piedmont for alternative services and they also don’t provide services to the specific address where I live. I don’t think I live outside of city limits, but apparently I do.

Is there not enough money in the budget to facilitate a Pennsylvania County wide service? There’s apparently a large number of people who have to haul their waist to dump sites. That just seems so crappy, especially for the large number of elderly people we have in the region.

Anyone know if there’s any developments or change in the works?

Septic system repaired new opportunity available to start fresh

So this is my first home that I’ve purchased and I am totally new to lawn care but I know I don’t want the boring Bermuda green grass backyard. I want to be whimsical and different. What type of vision do you think would work best with this backyard?
