Okay so I slept on Halo back in the day and I'm now playing through the series as all the discourse on Marathon 2026/Rampant AI made me want to see Cortana's story. (And finish Durandal's by playing the rest of the Marathon series but that's not relevant.)
As I play, I feel like the Halo is really not that far removed from an orbital? Did Bungie totally crib from Banks? What is the actual difference?
We are working on getting my dad hearing aids but until then I want to give him my old iPhone with an app on it so he can watch TV without blowing out the house and such. I’m looking at my old SE that had a jack but only goes up to iOS 15. Would like something that has background removal not a paid feature and no subscription since it is a stopgap measure also I don’t known if he will buy into this so I don’t want to spend on something he is going to growl at. There are SO MANY even looking with just the old phone! Help please!
So it finally happened - I had some filament break inside the nozzle above where it gets hot so I can't just push it out - or at least it was not pushing. I have new nozzles on order to make sure I can finish the project Im working on by my self-imposed deadline but is there a way to get the filament out and save the nozzle? It's gucky but still functions.

I have resigned myself that I have to teach Hamlet next year, but I need to pare it back. It takes me currently about 6 weeks to get through Macbeth, which is literally half as long, and I do not have 12 weeks to give to Hamlet and still get through the curriculum I need to. (Whoever designed some of these pacing guides has obviously not been anywhere near a classroom in some time.)
At the end I want to them to be able to write a persuasive paper on if Hamlet's mental health is real or if he is faking it.
I'm trying to figure out what to cut. I know I can cut a lot of the Fortinbras/Norway stuff, what else could I get rid of to get through it in 6 weeks or so and still let them have the evidence to write the essay that I want. The R&G/England stuff? Anything with the play within a play?
