I’m looking for recommendations for bras similar to the Marie Jo Tom Heart bra. I wear a 34C and absolutely love the shape and fit of this bra, especially how it gives my chest a nice, centered shape without making it look wide. A lot of bras I’ve tried tend to make my chest look broader than I’d like, but this one gives me the exact shape I’m looking for!

The only thing is that I’d love to find something similar in a simple nude color without any lace, appliqués, or decorative details on the straps. Ideally, I’m looking for a smooth, everyday bra that disappears under clothes but still gives me that same shape and spacing as the Marie Jo Tom Heart.

Does anyone have recommendations for bras that give a similar shape and fit, but with a more minimal, seamless look? I’d really appreciate any suggestions.

Hi! I’d really appreciate some advice from the professional stylists here.

My natural hair is very dark brown dark enough that people often think it’s black, although I believe it’s probably a level or so lighter than true black. I have around 15% gray, mostly throughout my hair, and I’ve been using demi-permanent color to blend the gray.

The problem is that my colorist has been using a shade that seems a little too dark for me. Over time, I feel like it has taken away some of the natural variation in my hair and made the overall color look almost solid black. What I really want is the opposite: a very natural, blended look that still looks like my own hair, just slightly softer and lighter.

I’m not looking for balayage, obvious highlights, or stripes. I’d ideally like to lighten the overall appearance by maybe 2 levels/shades, while keeping enough variation that it doesn't look like one flat color. I also want to minimize damage as much as realistically possible.

I've been doing some research and came across the idea that, when lightener is necessary, a lower-volume developer such as 20 vol can be preferable to 30 or 40 vol because the process is slower and potentially easier to control. But I don't want to assume what I read online is correct, especially with previously color-treated hair.

If you were working with hair like mine, what approach would you consider?

Would you be thinking about:

• selectively lightening some of the existing color rather than doing traditional highlights?
• a very fine, subtle technique to restore some natural variation?
• removing/reducing the accumulated dark demi color first?
• another approach that I'm not considering?

I'm also curious whether the specific lightener/toner matters much for this kind of subtle result. I've seen professionals mention products from brands like Wella and Redken, but I'm much more interested in what type of product/process you'd choose than trying to buy something myself.

My main priorities are keeping the hair healthy, avoiding an obvious highlighted look, and getting back some of the natural dimension while only going slightly lighter overall.

I've been wearing the Marie Jo Tom Heart Shape bra in a 34C for a while, and it's probably been my favorite bra I've owned. I have lost about 10 pounds recently, though, so I'm thinking I may actually need a smaller size now.

What I really like about the Tom is the shape it gives me. I prefer a more rounded, natural look, and I'm always hesitant to try new bras because I don't like styles that make my chest project out more they tend to make me feel like I look wider from the side.

Another thing that's important to me is smooth cups. I've had molded bras where the cup edges or molded part end up puckering or developing little dents over time, and then you can see them through T-shirts, which drives me crazy.

Does anyone have recommendations for bras with a similar fit and shape to the Marie Jo Tom Heart Shape? I'm open to any brands or styles that give a similar silhouette.

Also, if you've worn the Tom before and found something you liked even better, I'd love to hear about it!

Fast forward a few years...I've become a pretty heavy coffee drinker, so my teeth definitely aren't as white as they used to be. I've been using Crest Whitestrips, but honestly I'm just not seeing the results I was hoping for.

For anyone who's had Opalescence done recently, what was your experience? Were you happy with the results? How long did they last? Was sensitivity an issue?

I've always felt like Opalescence was a better option than Zoom, but maybe things have changed since I had it done. If you've had another professional whitening treatment that you think works better, I'd love to hear about it and why.

I recently discovered the Body by Wacoal Underwire Bra and loved the seam as I find molded bras tend to pucker after awhile and can be seen through tops. I love the minimal design, no padding or embellishments/lace however, I wish it was lightly lined because I really need a little coverage.
