As an Italian that mostly talks about iPhones I didn’t even know something like carrier locked phones existed until I learned English and got into more American communities. Why do they have carrier locked phones? Here I dont heaven know if you can get them locked to a single carrier, you can pretty much use any sim and eSIM you like. Is it for cost or why? I don’t see the reason this should exist , it’s just pretty useless if you want to change sim. Why do they even make these?

Upgraded to iPhone 15 base 256 gb Storage. Returned it after a week. I just love too Mach small phone and Touch ID and home button. Idk what everyone says that my phone looks like an iPhone 8. I realized that I don’t need to have a newer model. I also sent 3 days ago my Se3 (still the same phone) to get fixed (or replaced) at apple with apple care + (ended 2 days ago) I have 128 go of storage but idk I never filled them up and I don’t even have much photo. 130 euros spent very well for a damaged screen, camera, backglass and battery 70%. Hope it gets iOS 28 cuz iOS 27 beta tinned just so smooth. (Sorry for bad English im from Italy)

Basically I’m using an iPhone 11 Pro Max. I want to have iOS 27 and I’m thinking to swap to my old se3 (128Gb carrier unlocked) everyone that I met before using the 11 just asked me why I still used an iPhone 8 and this made me kinda angry. Should I swap to SE3 and in case should I spend 200 €for swapping new original screen and battery (still have apple care+ with accidental damage.)

Basically I have an IPhone se3 in my drawer and I’m using an 11 pro max. I’m thinking to swap to the se3 that has some scratch and cracks on the screen and battery to 80%. I asked to my local Apple Store and they said that for 139€ I can change screen and battery. Cuz I have apple care+ for accidental damage. The problem is that the camera lens is not broken but is scratched on the outside of the camera. How can I get my phone changed for another used one? It’s literally in the apple care description that I can do it but idk is the da Madge too small? My uncle suggested to put it under the iron. What should I do to get it changed? Just ask?
