How Tatsu is gonna make Okarun end up at the end of this arc😭
[WW] for the artists, if you'd ever like to emulate windwaker's promotional artstyle. I got the exact same paper texture they used. Have fun with it!
I got this a few years ago. But i have the exact same paper texture Nintendo used in the Windwaker, Four sword and Minish cap promotional art! Have fun with it!
(Randomizer) I Need the Ironboots to get the light medallion in the water temple. But the Ironboots are in Ganon's Castle. How can i complete the temple without them?
reddit.comIs it possible to change the sword trail to something like the 3DS version? I never liked the sword trail in the n64 version, the opacity overlaps which gives it these weird jagged edges in the trail. It's a mesh that follows the sword too which isn't really smooth. Oot3D's is a texture.
reddit.comWhy is my world so ''glossy'' all of a sudden? I have my mods turned of but every overworld has this weird glossy-ish glitch over everything. What causes it?
Tatsu definitely drew this panel in Fire Punch when he was still an assistant. You can spot his artstyle instantly.
For those who started reading Berserk after Kouji Mori and Studio Gaga took over the manga, how did you experience those chapters? Did you notice a difference in the writing or art style? Did it feel different from Miura's work, or did it still feel like Berserk to you?
I'm curious. Berserk got massively popular after Miura's passing, after his passing a lot of people began reading the manga and obviosly stopped at 364. 9 months later 365 released with Kouji Mori as the writer. A lot of people began reading during those 9 months, i was one of them.
But here's my question. So far 26 chapters have been released since Miura's passing. Which is a lot to binge. So how did the people who were binging Berserk with all those new chapters experience it?
I can imagine that for most people who had to wait for those new chapters to release and constantly comparing them to Miura's style are experiencing those chapters different compared to the perspective of someone who is reading the manga for the first time with all those chapters already released.
Because, we had this huge gap between 364 and 365 compared to someone who likely won't even notice this gap between Studio Gaga and Kouji Mori and Miura's passing.
Is it possible to port in the environment of OOT3D to SOH? The 3ds textures of Djipi are stunning but the janky n64 environments would be sick if they could be more detailed like in OOT3D
Lmk!
I made a Berserk animation based on the recent chapters.

Am i the only one who isn't really that interested in Inazuma Eleven besides the OG era?
I'm a 22 year old guy from the Netherlands. Inazuma Eleven was the shit back in 2010-2015. The anime especially was intensely popular. But once the OG trilogy was complete, The Netherlands didn't continue dubbing and airing the seasons that came afterwards. So we never saw the GO series and Orion/Ares on Dutch TV.
So naturally, most Dutch kids fell out of the fandom and just kept it at the OG series. Same goes for me. I grew up with the OG series, the cast, the music, the stories. I have an intense attachment to those seasons. And now that i'm older and able to watch the later seasons, i'm not that interested in the new cast of characters. I didn't grew up with these kids or their stories.
Inazuma Eleven, for me at least is largely carried by nostalgia and the simplicity of the stories.
But after the OG series ended and us needing to say goodbye to raimon eleven and its more grounded story, i lost interest.
I'm here to spread the word of one of the best ongoing shonen manga out right now. "The Bugle Call: Song of war". I can't stress this enough. Go read it, you won't regret it.
It's insane how underrated this gem is. It is in my opinion the best ongoing shonen series out right now.
The action, characters, writing, powersystem, Plot twists, art. Everything is so insanely amazing.
Story
The story is about this boy, Lucas. He grew up in a mercanary band and functioned as their bugler. Commanding the troops of the battlefield with his song. But what makes Lucas different is that he is a branched. He has a small twig like horn growing out of his head that gives him a special power. Being that of the starlight branched. He can visualize beams of light through playing his bugle. This way he can command each troop individually.
But even with his power, Lucas hates the battlefield. He wants to stop being a bugler and persue a carreer of being a maestro.
But after being taken in by a mysterious pope-like figure that recruits branched people with powers like luca in a war against a mysterious branched only known as the garland he gets thrown into an epic superpowered war with incredibily unique powers. With the promise that he will get all he needs to be a musician if he manages to win the war and kill the garland.
Characters
What makes this manga so good are the characters. Each character has their own very well executed motivations on why they fight for the pope. Each character has their own unique personality, struggles, heartbreaking backstories and crazy creative powers. Their dynamic is awesome to see. Seeing these outcasted people that are stuck fighting this war bond with eachother is amazing to read. The main character's relationship to a character called Zoë is especially incredible. She's probably the best character in the manga too, i won't spoil that because her dynamic with the mc is one of the hooks of the manga.
Powersystem
In this world the people with powers are called branched. These people have small tree like horns growing out of their heads that bloom when activated. Each branched has powers that are so creative. Powers you haven't seen in any piece of media.
Like said before, lucas has the power to produce golden rays of light that appear when he plays the bugle, these rays are all sent to troops and serve as paths each soldier needs to go. Each light gives the soldiers exact instructions on where to go and gives them an immense morale boost.
Someone has the power to borrow strenght from their future self, giving them superhuman strength for a small amount of time, but comes with the drawback of needing to sleep for long periods of time to regain that strength, leading to the character sleeping for long periods of time that causes their body to age, but their mind to stay the same.
Another character has the power of making teleportation mirrors, i can hear you thinking? What's so unique about that? Well, the author uses this power in such creative ways. Using the mirrors to split your body across multiple places. Or even making a mirror sword. If the sword touches you, the area the sword touches you gets teleported to a different area, meaning that the sword can quite literally cut anything.
Lore, worldbuilding and plottwists
If you like attack on titan, you'll adore all the twists and turns this manga takes. The manga takes place in a medieval world. With landmarks and names that are similar to ours but not exactly the same either. Across the world there are multiple spires. Large towers enveloped by tree growths that house "old secrets of the past". These spires are what give the branched their powers. There is a lot of mystery around these towers.
What are they? Why does the pope know so much about them? For who and what are we exactly fighting? What is the origin of the branched powers? What are the old secrets? What is beyond the spires? These secrets are what drives the story forward. And the plot twist. Oh my god the plot twist. The best one i've read in a very long while!
The creative paneling and art!
Oh my god. This is my personal favourite aspect of the manga but holy, i've never seen a mangaka get so creative with their paneling. I mean through the images and look for yourself. The mangaka uses panels to cut someone in half, he lets characters walk between them, characters warp around pages using their powers. Good god. It's so good. Not only that, the mangaka also has an amazing way to let the reader read through the pages. Everything reads so smoothly. This manga proves to me that manga has so much more aspects to it that simply can't be replicated in any other medium. The mangaka uses the strenghts of manga and tells the story in an unique way that only a manga can.
Closing words
Just read it man. If you like action, character writing, lore, mysteries. Then this is the manga for you.
One of the best new manga "the bugle call: song of war" is getting an anime adaptation! The manga is amazing so i'm REALLY exited!!
youtu.beWhy is no one talking about this gorgeous ongoing shonen??? It's called Kamudo. If you like lore and unique fantastical settings, this manga is for you. GO READ IT NO ONE IS TALKING ABOUT IT.
It's by the authors of the legend of Zelda manga: Akira Himekawa. Their art is BEAUTIFUL.
The story is about the first human, Kamuna. He is born in the world of Hinoaruchi, a skybound world where demibeings reside. You have demi-deer, demi-tigers, demi-wolfs and the most important of all, demi-dragons. The demi dragons are the protectors of the world and protect the pulse, a force like energy that keeps the world together.
Kamuna is born from a dragon egg but does not resemble demi-dragons except for a dragon left arm and small tail. He is bullied by his dragon peers. Kind of like a My Hero Academia type dynamic.
His birth is an anomaly and nobody really knows why he is the way he is, most people think he's a bad omen.
It's a fairly new manga and absolutely nobody is talking about the manga. The art is beautiful, the setting is so unique and pretty and the story and lore are so good. The potential is there to make it an amazing manga but no one is reading it as far as i'm aware. So please give it a read!!
Mark Wahlberg meets his idol, the monster predator Cole.
Just got back into smash after 2 years. Only to turn it off again the moment a ness just casually took my ledge grabbing privilege away. Seriously who the fuck thought that would be a good idea for a character being able to take away one of the core mechanics of the game whenever they please???
I would say that i'm pretty good at smash. I know how to fight every character decentely well. Same goes for ness, even though his pk fire is annoying as shit. I can deal with it. But every fucking time ness manages to get me of the stage, and the only way i can get back up is through the ledge, they can just do their stupid fucking yo-yo attack and you can already say goodbye to grabbing the ledge in the most embarrasing way.

Like do you ness mains find this shit fun??? How??? I get wanting to win and shit but is it really that fulfilling to already get your knockout the second your opponents steps of the stage????
I fucking hate harem with a passion. What do you mean you want your main character to cheat around and morally get away with it? And don't give me that poly bs, you know damn well what kind of people this genre attracts.
Like honestly, it's disgusting. The manga advertises itself as a romance, wow how sweet! I'm sure there's a lot of buildup and fun ways to approach love. Instead you get like 20 oversexualized female characters that fawn over the most bland self insert mc you've ever seen.

Every story is the same. The mc gets to meet a new girl every handful of chapters and invites them to their house where 20 or so girls already live. And at the end they all fuck, or all get married to the mc.

Like who the fuck finds this entertaining. The main character essentially just normalizes cheating and not being faithful to your partner. I'm not even religious or conservative, this shit is just disgusting.

And don't give me that polyamarous bullshit. I know it exists, i have some friends that partake in it and that's cool and all. But harem is by no means anything like that. All these fucking stories are about a single guy getting like 30 women to fall for him and then he gets them all to themselves.

It's also clear who the target audience is. If you genuinly enjoy these types of stories and fantasize about this shit. Then damn you're weird. You never got over "i want not one, but 20 girfriends!!" Phase.

And the fact that it's so popular just goes to show how bad relationships have gotten over the years.

Just pure, cave-gooning slop.
I HATE REDDIT ACHIEVEMENTS!!!
I feel like such a fat chud each time i get an achievement. Not only does it make me feel worthless and chronically online (which i'm not)
It's also just annoying, i post a comment or post and immediately get a notification thinking maybe someone replied to them but no, it's reddit forcing their achievement that serve no value down my throat. Like who the fuck cares about these achievements. Are they like pokemon cards? Or is it something to show off to your chud friends in order to become the biggest chud. Like holy shit it pisses me off. I MEAN FUCKING HELL
WHAT THE FUCK DO THEY EVEN DO. I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHY I'M EVEN GETTING THEM!!!
FUCK OFF, I DON'T WANT YOUR STUPID ACHIEVEMENTS. FUCK YOU!!!
WHY THE FUCK AM I GETTING PRAISED FOR COMMENTING STUPID SHIT THAT DON'T FUCKING MATTER!!!
WHO THE FUCK THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA TO MAKE THIS A THING??!!!!!!!
