First shot.. when do side effects start?

How long after the first shot 0.25mg did you experience any side effects? If it within a day or two or the same day? Not sure if I want to do it morning or afternoon....

last two pills lightly stuck together

Yesterday I noticed my last two 1.5mg pills were stuck together in the bottle, they came apart cleanly but... somehow that must be moisture got inside? Didn't think anything of it until I became absolutely ravenously hungry today and then I wondered if that meant the last two pills were damaged? Or if it's just a coincidence?
Tomorrow I switch to the shot. I will say, I I never left the lid open or touched the pills with wet hands so not sure how that happened.

Can I take the shot the day after my last oral wegovy pill?

Is it okay to take the weekly shot the day after my last oral wegovy pill? I am switching to injections for conviencence reasons. I want to see what I like better. It would be nice to not worry about the fasting window in the morning.

I want to switch from the pill to the injection

I am thinking of switching from the pill (on 1.5mg) to the shot. It would be nice to have to not worry about logistics of fasting.

I would have to talk to my doctor but I would assume I would need to switch from 1.5mg to the .25mg shot? So basically, not go up but stay the same dose another month?

Anyone do this? Thanks.

Day 12 on Pill, maybe starting to work?

On days 1-3 I felt maybe slight nausea which made me think it was working right away. Since then it's kinda been on and off. But I started to feel more of slight hunger supression day 11. It's just kind of a "I am full" noise in the background of my brain. I hope it's finally kicking in a little. I know it's not the therapeutic dose but I saw on the trials people still lost 2% loss their first month. I'd love to hit that.

First week experience on injections?

I am on the Wegovy daily pill 1.5mg and thinking about switching to compounded semaglutide injections. It's been over 1 week on the pill and the medicine isn't doing anything for my hunger but i've noticed other benefits. I just don't want to waste more time trying the pill if it's not going to work well for me.

Heart not beating as "hard"

Sometimes with exertion (say several flights of stairs) my heart felt like it had marbles in it or something and going "glub glob glub glob". It's completely gone away after a week on wegovy (no weight loss so far)

Has this happened to anyone else? My heart would also race sometimes after I ate and I thought it was POTS or something but that went away, too.

Wegovy pill 1.5mg, share your experience?

Today is day 7 for me. Days 1-4 I really had a supressed appetite and I couldn't believe it worked so fast. I was still taking metformin + inositol. I stopped the inositol day 3 and my appetite basically returned to normal days 5 and 6 😞 I know it's early on but I really was feeling hopeful at how fast I thought Wegovy was working and I felt hope for the first time in my life. Now I am mentally battling my hunger again which sucks. I don't start 4mg until July 4.

I am breathing better on Semaglutide

This might be life changing. I noticed laying in bed, it feels like I am getting 2x deeper breaths. I thought, why does it feel like I am getting so much more air? I google it and it says your lungs have glp receptors and it can immediately reduce any inflammation and also reduce extra fluid in your abdomen. When I take a breath now, it's a nice deep breath. It must have been very shallow before.
Non-Scale victory and it's only day 3!

Anyone still take inositol while on GLP?

I am on my first month of 1.5mg wegovy pill. Since it's a low dose I am thinking of staying on inositol. Not sure if that's a bad idea or not? But the insositol reduced my appetite before I started the wegovy.

What's the difference between a calorie deficit alone and a GLP?

So what is the difference between a PCOS woman eating say 1500 calories and a PCOS woman eating 1500 calories plus a glp-1?

Other than maybe more able to stick to the calories easier. I am just wondering how exactly the GLP1 Specicially helps PCOS.

Thank you.

3 month starter pack question

If you order 3 month starter pack, do you get enough medicine for 3 months? Or just one month supply at a time?

Thank you!

Do you think insurance will let me switch to Vascepa from Lovaza?

Trigs were just over 500 and LDL was 116. I asked my doctor for Lovaza and my insurance approved it (had to get a prior authorization). Lovaza raised my LDL from 116 to 139.

So, in a few days I am going to go to my PA and ask to be switched to vascepa which my insurance covers as long as you tried Lovaza for 3 months first.

I am just hoping 116 to 139 is a "good enough" reason to get approved for Vascepa?

I am also going back on a plant based low saturated fat diet that I had been on previously. Hopefully with the vascepa and the high fiber/low sat diet I can get my LDL well under 100 again. (I have done it before)

Issue with adding kids to the room? Says they are adults (under 12)

I am tyring to book a Holiday Inn using credit card points and it uses booking.com

If I put in 2 adults and 3 kids (all under 12) the rate goes way up and says "5 adults"
But, I know Holiday Inn doesn't charge for kids. This is a room with 6 occupancy, do I know that's not the issue.

I am scared to book just 2 adults and not get the room once we arrive.

Where to begin!

I've been obese since I was 10. I have had enough. I am 40. I have no idea what it's like to have a normal BMI. My insurance won't cover GLP-1. I need to bite the bullet and do this but I have no idea where to start or where to buy from.
Is anyone else in the same boat?

Meal Idea help

I need to lower my LDL and A1C. The problem with plant based is it always sky rockets my A1C. Yes, even beans, oats spike my blood sugar pretty bad right now. I know that can be fixed with more weight loss but I just need super lazy ideas. AI keeps suggesting eggs in olive oil with kale and I can't eat that everyday.
I think I am looking for lower carb meditternean ideas that actually sound appealing. A bowl of lettuce with sardines and chickpeas just doesn't sound good. Does anyone have meals that can suggest they actually enjoy?

History of Arizona Mexican

I find it hard to find good information on the history of Arizona's Mexican food. I am thinking of the green chile burros (not verde!) that are impossible to find outside of Arizona and are really common in the Miami/Globe area. I also really like how Arizona tortillas are super thin. What other things are more common with Arizona Mexican than say California or Texas?
