I honestly think that Shibashou's destiny is already presented by Hara, mainly at the start of this current arc.

As we know, he is based on the real Sima Shang, and the last information that we have of him is that he is disposed of his rank after Riboku falls, but after that, nothing; he simply disappears from history. This gives Hara a full plate to do a lot of things.

So, my theory is:

After Riboku's execution is announced, Shibashou somehow will lose Seika because of two reasons: one being a dumb commandment of the king to punish over failure (as we see historically), and because Qin's advance will be unstoppable.

Seeing this scenario, he will choose to retreat to his city and take everything/everyone he can, and the place to where they will go was shown at the start of this actual arc.

As we know, history shows that Prince Ka will be able to escape Zhao's fall, and with his followers, they create the state of Dai. But the point is, the state of Dai is already shown in this arc, together with the introduction of Duke Rei Ju (Shibashou's master). Maybe I'm confused by translation, but I think it's the same state.

Shibashou has no patriotism or affection for Zhao, as shown innumerable times, even in the last omake, where is showed that he too had a wish to build a kingdom(and ironically, he was the man who frustrated Ousen, lol). His bond with Zhao was two things: Riboku and Seika. Losing both, there's no motive for him to fight to the death in the current battle.

After this point, there are two paths for Hara to follow:

1 — He and Duke Rei Ju escape the battle and group their armies. Together, they start to retreat to Dai, and Shibashou goes to Seika, since it's close to Dai, and there he takes everything and everyone and abandons the city. Before reaching Dai, he or Duke Rei Ju somehow enters in contact with Prince Ka (I would say that Riboku already made an agreement of refuge for the royal family into Dai). Then, the state would reunite Prince Ka as the king, principally because of the word political scenery of Dai and the common bloodline between the first Zhao king and ancient Dai king(something that Shibashou have no disagreements, since Ka is a type of person that he would respect), Shibashou and Duke Rei Ju as the heads of military, with the inhabitants of the state and some remnants of Zhao and Seika as their military.

In history, Dai endured 6 years before the fall. For a new state enduring so much in that era, it needs at least some capable military figures, and both Shibashou and Duke are monsters (we still need to see further performance of Duke, but from what was shown, we know he's far from ordinary), and would obviously have the remnants generals of Seika, I honestly believe that at least one of them will survive this current war.

The next point for this theory is the Yan invasion. Historically, Dai and Yan form an alliance against Qin at the start of the Yan invasion, and this would serve to put some light in the arc, because until the end, the only military figure that Yan has is Ordo, someone who's far from 6GG level physically and mentally. The alliance with Dai, with Duke, Shibashou and Ordo as military heads, would put at least a real fight to have a fun arc.

And the last point is Ouhon. Wang Ben (Ouhon's historical figure) is responsible for Dai's fall, and ironically, he's right now facing the first general of this state. So, the end of Shibashou would be dying in the alliance with Yan wars or in the defense of Dai. The last option is what I think is the coolest, since I would like to see Ouhon doing a feat like winning a duel against someone with the physical level of a high 3GH/6GG, principally the guy who almost killed his father.

The second path, which I think is less probable, is Shibashou and Seika's commanders being absorbed into Qin's army after they see how well Seika's people are treated — which I hardly believe would happen because first, they DON'T want to do war to conquer, and second, I can't find a place for another 6GG level in the Qin army, since Hara can't use him to do anything really important, because he disappeared from history. So you can't just put him to kill Gaimou in Wei's conquest, for example. The second option of Qin annexation would put him to the conquered Zhao in a similar position that Tou is to Han — something I doubt because of obviously low confidence.
