Anyone else feel like they're falling behind... just because they're not earning yet

Pata hai aaj kya hua...(Ai summary hai post)

Hi I'm in my final year of college.

Today my dad scolded me I'm wasting my time because I'm not earning. I won't lie—that hurt.

The thing is, I understand why he said it. Our family isn't in the best financial situation, and I know he wants me to become independent as soon as possible.

But I'm not sitting around doing nothing. I'm preparing for placements because I believe getting a good full-time job is better than taking up random work right now.

I'm not perfect. I procrastinate. I know I could be more disciplined. But hearing someone you look up to say you're wasting your life makes you question everything. But I'm trying man not that I'm hopeless about my self but it takes time my journey has been slow since few months but still I'm trying

The worst part? I couldn't even explain my side. I just stayed quiet.

Now I'm wondering...

Is this something most guys go through with their fathers?

Did anyone else feel like a disappointment before they finally got their first job?

Aaj life ne ye seekh di ki hum theek se apne papa ko bhi bata nai sakte ki hum kya deal kar rahe hai...

Apparently the rules changed when I reached out

Heads up.

My ex (F) and I broke up in February, but I never blocked her. Around April, she started drunk-calling me. It happened around 7–8 times. Surprisingly, we never talked about our relationship or the breakup. We'd just talk random nonsense, laugh, and chill.

I don't know if that's considered a good idea with an ex, but I genuinely never had a problem with it. I had already accepted that whatever happened, happened. I didn't want to let the past affect the present.

(No idea why I'm so unnecessarily philosophical.)

Yesterday, I was a bit drunk—not wasted, just buzzed enough to know exactly what I was saying. I texted her because, honestly, she's still one of the few people I feel completely comfortable talking to. We were chatting normally, enjoying the conversation like always.

Then somehow... things escalated in the weirdest way.

By the end of it, she said she thinks we shouldn't talk anymore.

And I was just sitting there like... what the hell?

Don't get me wrong—I know that's probably the healthiest thing to do with an ex. I'm not arguing against that. What threw me off was how we got there.

Whenever she called or texted me, I never made things complicated. I kept it light, fun, and casual because we both genuinely enjoyed those conversations. But the one time I texted her, everything suddenly became this huge discussion about whether we should even be talking.

She said it was "her opinion."

That was enough for me.

I simply replied, "If that's the case... goodbye."

Before she could respond, I blocked her and deleted the chat. Not out of anger or revenge—just because I don't want to reopen that chapter ever again.

I'm already moving on, and I always knew a day like this would eventually come. I just never expected it to happen like this.

I'm not saying she was wrong. I'm not saying she owed me anything. It's just funny how every time she reached out, things stayed simple because I never overcomplicated them. But when I reached out once, everything suddenly became... complicated as hell.

Maybe this was the final nail in the coffin. Maybe that's exactly what needed to happen.

Why do girls complicate things?

Aaj mere saath ye hua(kal raat ko baat hai)

Heads up

Me and ex(F) broke up in February but I didn't block her so later from April she started to drunk call me which even I used to kind of enjoy we never talked about our past in it we just chill around and talk on very random shits I don't know if it's right thing to do but still she did it for like 7-8 times...and i genuinely had no problem with it because I was always in the mindset of jo hua hogya aur past ko affect karne na du

So yesterday I was a bit drunk not high but attentive enough to understand what I'm saying I texted her because ig I'm still comfortable only around her and we shared some chats Idk if it's right to chat with your ex because we genuinely enjoy each other's company... And idk how things escalated in the wrong way and by the end of the chat she said she doesn't think that we shouldn't talk anymore like wtfff??? Ik it's the very right thing to do if u have an ex but the way it escalated made me think whenever she used to call or text me I never complicated it i kept it in a very fun and chill environment which we both genuinely enjoyed but when I did she thinks it's not right???

Her statement was like a final nail on the coffin and when she said it's "her opinion" i understood the assignment and decided will never contact her

I said "If that's the case...Goodbye and then before she could reply I blocked and deleted the chats only in a hope to never see her ever again

I'm on the path of moving on and I know that some or the other day this was going to happen but not in this scenario because jo bhi hua hogya and mujhe uspe koi regret nai hai and whenever she did call me I never complicated things but yesterday she did complicate things alot of things were discussed among us but at the end ts happend..

I'm not saying that she did wrong to me or bs it's just she complicated things like hell itna meine kabhi nai socha

A surprise visit from Huma Qureshi...

So I was watching the preview of huma Qureshi's new movie (Baby do die do) and before the last half an hour lights turned on and the movie was paused only to be known that she gave us a surprise visit...

And i was star stucked for a moment cause I've seen her previous works which i did like and she looks absolutely gorgeous too...she talked about the film for like 5min and then she left

Tbh the film was average and I kinda felt bored The concept was okish...but as i got the tickets from my friend who attended some film related event and got the tickets for free then he shared with me...🙂‍↕️

Countered my ex...😮‍💨

Aaj mere saath ye hua...

So I'm a 3rd year bachelor's student(M) and my ex completed her graduation this year we both are from the same college...toh aaj jab mei college se nikal raha tha doston ke saath on my way to the exit gate i saw someone walking towards my placement division (which is near the exit way path) and turns out I saw my ex and her bestfriend walking right opposite to me..shyd wo placement block gaye ho

My heart stopped for a moment idk why i felt a pain in my chest for a moment .I took a turn and told my friends I'll be back and ran upstairs my friends were confused because it was very sudden and later when I sneaked my friends understood that my ex was in college... i really don't know why I did that it was very quick even for me to process...

And a few minutes later when I thought she was gone I got a call from her that she's in college and asked if I'm there too idk why but i agreed to meet and waited later she came with her friend and we 3 met it was a bit awkward for a minute but later the ice melted we talked for like 20min bass haal chaal tak he baat rakhi thi and then we left and before leaving she gave me a side hug which i wasn't expecting tbh and then we left This was our 1st interaction after breakup and it happend about like 5 months

But now I feel that i should have avoided the meeting because she probably saw me running away and then called me or it was genuine because the way our relationship ended was not good...

The internship story...

Ye aaj toh nai hua parr.. I got a mail few months back from my colleges placement division about this internship whose stipend was freaking 89k per month... I'm a BSc Data Science student currently in my 2nd year i was so excited getting the opportunity and applied to it but unfortunately they were conducting the rounds like GD, aptitude, interview right along when my sem exams were going on it was stressful but somehow i did it, and completed 4 rounds and went in for the final round along with 3 other finalists.

Exams ke saath saath inke round clear karna was not an easy task and more than 200 people were competing for the same role and at the end 4 were finalized and i was one of them... all four of us were happy and excited because it was an once in life shit.

Then we waited for the final interviews update from the company and trust me the company is reputed and huge and the domain of the job was crazy too.

After waiting for more than a month today we get a reply from our placement division that "The company has removed the job role" 😭 like wtfff.

We were devastated and so stressed because we were somehow managing our time performing well in rounds of the internship and sem exams as well but only to get the response as "it's gone and don't worry you'll get more".

It was very unfair to us but what even can we do?? But i highly doubt what exactly happened to the role ;)
