Persistent Pustules - 21 year old

Hi everyone,

I’m a 21 year old male, i’ve had pustules on my face since 13. It’s always been around my chin and nose area as shown and occasionally on other parts of face. I do shave daily using a foil shaver though i make sure to sanitise it before and after every use.

I also use the cerave gentle green cleanser at night and morning, followed by the blue cerave moisturiser after each.

I’m quite sick of it as it has been around for far too long, it’s sometimes painful when theres a big one. My main problem is it appears unprofessional, pretty disgusting and I feel like a teenager.

Is there anything at all i can do?

DT 770 Pro best budget dac/amp

I just got a pair of BD DT 770 Pro 80 ohm headphones, but they’re too quiet when connected directly to my PC as I believe my motherboard’s onboard headphone amp is too weak.

What budget DAC/amp would anyone recommend for them? My budget is around £70 max - I spent £70 for the headphones and not looking to spend more than them for a dac/amp and I’d prefer to spend much less.

I’m not an audiophile at all and don’t need loads of features — I just want:

enough power/volume
clean sound
something reliable that I can buy once and keep

Movement midnight problem

Hi guys,

Currently building my seiko mos watch, i just inserted the dial into the movement and i was adjusting the crown until it clicks but it doesnt click and was already at 14 and i kept rotating but it wouldnt move into that click.

Not sure what to do now?

Ender 3 V2 - Persistent Stringing

Hi guys, i'm running an ender 3 V2 Direct drive with klipper, BTT SKR mini e3v3 and a BMG Wind Extruder and a 3dtouch - I have persistent stringing and have tried almost everything including:

Drying filament for 8 hours
Esteps calibrated
Calibrated Temperature + Stringing tower test (best one attached in image with 0.4mm distance and 35mm retraction/deretraction speed)
Pressure advance
Flow calibrated
Nozzle replaced
Tried printing with different PLA+ filament
Tried different retraction distances/speeds Rebuilt extruder (leading me to believe its possibly slicer setting if not hardware?)
Hotend rebuilt

Not really sure what to do anymore but dumping this printer.

I've included my current speeds, can provide printer cfg and anything else if required If anyone has sample speeds or retraction settings i'd appreciate if you can share so I can test.

Nutribullet Burning odour + doesn’t sound right

Hi guys,

I was just blending something with my nutribullet when i found that there was an extreme rubber burning odour coming from the black plastic part shown in image. I was just running it for a few seconds. While blending, the blender also doesn’t sound like it’s spinning right.

Anyone know what it could be? The smell’s coming from the black plastic base on the unit as shown on image.

The model is a Nutribullet 900.

Ender 3V2 - Stringing

Hi guys,

I'm a beginner given my elder brother's old printer - im having a continuous issue with stringing on my ender 3 V2. I have pretty much done everything to troubleshoot it, including:

Drying filament for 6 hours
Esteps calibrated
Flow cube test and calibrated
Temperature + Stringing tower tests (included)
Nozzle repaced
Filament set to correct diameter in slicer
Tried printing with different PLA filament

Stringing tower was printed at 210.

Stringing is reduced towards lower end of PLA printing temp e.g. 190 as seen by the temp tower but wouldn't this mean poor layer adhesion?

Im using eSUN PLA+ to print and running a direct drive setup with a BMG wind extruder, 0.4mm nozzle and using klipper firmware and orca slicer.

Not really sure what to do anymore.

Have included slicer settings.

S20 Ultra Not Charging

Hi guys,

I have an s20 ultra that i dropped the other day and now it is not charging normally - when plugged in it just will not charge unless if you apply pressure in the centre and sometimes even that doesn’t work.

How can i fix this? Should i open it up?

Shed Guttering

Hi guys,

I've fitted a shed gutter with a hopper and 68mm downpipe into a water butt.

My problem is that the downpipe seems to be pulling down on the hopper/outlet because of its weight.

The downpipe also doesn't fit very tightly into the hopper, so I'm worried the joint is taking all the load.

What's the proper way to support this? Should the downpipe be held by pipe clips so the hopper isn't carrying the weight? Or maybe use superglue between the hopper and down pipe joint to hold the weight but i feel it wont do much? It's a little far out from the shed so not sure how i can implement the clips.

Any advice would be helpful!

Logitech C920 webcam mic keeps randomly stopping

Hi, I’m having a recurring issue with my **Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920 microphone** on my desktop PC.

The **camera itself is detected**, but the **microphone periodically stops working completely**. I’ve troubleshooted loads of things and I’m stuck.

A few weeks ago, Windows support/assistant suggested doing an **in-place repair install of Windows**. I did that, and the mic started working again, but after about **3 weeks the same bug has now come back**.

Things I’ve already tried:

* Checked Windows microphone privacy permissions.
* Checked default input device in Windows Sound settings.
* Disabled exclusive mode: “Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device” is unticked.
* Tried uninstalling the C920 from Device Manager.
* Uninstalled **Microphone (HD Pro Webcam C920)** from **Audio inputs and outputs**.
* Uninstalled **HD Pro Webcam C920** from **Sound, video and game controllers**.
* Unplugged the webcam, restarted PC, then plugged it back in.
* Tried using a rear motherboard USB port instead of front USB/hub.

The webcam appears as:

Camera/video interface:

`USB\VID_046D&PID_085E&MI_00`

Mic/audio interface:

`USB\VID_046D&PID_085E&MI_02`

The Windows audio endpoint shows:

`MMDEVAPI\AudioEndpoints`
