We had fantastic braised lamb in Heraklion, we even went back to the same restaurant to have it again but it wasn’t available the second night. Last night we went to taverna Ela and had their baked lamb which was alright but didn’t hit the same.
So tell me, where in Chania has the best braised lamb?
The ticket on mobile has a QR code on it and it specifies that tickets for travel outside of Crete require them to be printed, other tickets say “be presented”. In this day and age I find it difficult to believe that a mobile ticket would not be accepted?
I mixed up equal parts 10p 9v and it’s typically a deeper purple/pink/blue depending on the day and how long I let it sit, but now it’s just fully yellow? My gloss solution may be a bit old I’ve been pushing the limit on how long I can or should use it for. However the toners were also yellow when pouring.
I’m just using it on myself before my vacation, so im not too worried, if anything it probably won’t do anything effectively but im curious has anyone seen this before?
We want to spend a day adventuring, it would be nice if the ATV tour took us to another activity like a (short) hike, olive oil tasting, or something like that. When I google it none of them have pick ups in Chania.

I received a notification today requesting additional information, they requested my business tax registration number(KvK) and proof of registration. I provided the information, and then got this notification. I’ve been using my pro account for a number of months now, and I do recall providing this information when setting up my account.
I’m worried that my account will be suspended, has anyone had this happen before?

I’m going on a beach holiday july 15th for 11 days. My period is due on june 12 and july 13th. I’m REALLY upset because it’s the first holiday I’ve taken since 2019. If I get my period, I will be in bed all week, no appetite or energy to do anything.
I’m currently not on any hormonal birth controls etc.
I’ve heard there’s a short term medication available, could I take it for almost 2 weeks? Ideally I would like to get my period on or around july 1st.

Mid July, evening drive
My peak this week was .458mg and WHEW have I been fighting for my life the past day and a half.
Nausea. My moth was watering, that feeling when you feel like vomiting is imminent constantly. My stomach was gurgling and bubbling. ZERO food was allowed past my throat, I half vomited while I was chewing my breakfast yesterday. Today my stomach is a bit more settled, nausea is still present but I can tell my blood sugar is very low today. I am so dizzy when I stand up or move, sometimes I get a wave of dizziness when sitting down.
Working away on a protein shake and some yogurt with banana as I’m typing this (ever so slowly, I think it will take me 45 mins minimum to eat). Sadly I also have a phobia of vomiting so it’s been challenging.
I took the shot Monday at 11pm. Tuesday morning I vomited mid breakfast. Tuesday evening I could barely get brothy rice in my mouth. Now it is Wednesday at 12pm noon as I’m writing this and staring at my yogurt.
I do click counting and I’ve slowly been increasing the dose so I did .26mg but just 4 days after doing .23mg (I wanted to get back on a different shot schedule but not skip a week like I did a few weeks ago). If this is how I’m feeling at a .46mg accumulated dose I’m not sure if I can push it higher than this and deal with this every week. I may switch to split dosing to keep it at a steady level rather than have such high peaks and lows.
Overall I’ve had very minimal side effects, other than one night I ate too much too close to bed and woke up choking on vomit in the middle of the night. It was self inflicted by my choices and I knew better when I was doing it. I’ve had intermittent heartburn but nothing that can’t be fixed with some antacids and mindful eating the 24-36hrs after a shot.
Thankfully the scale is moving, was at 205 on March 18 and now I’m at 194 as of May 18th. I skipped a week in between and was on a low dose (.2?) in the earlier weeks. I expect another drop after this peak wears off.

Hi everyone, I’m hoping to get some insight from people familiar with ZZP situations in the Netherlands.
I was working as a ZZP’er for a business where I was paid on commission per client. Appointment based services.
Over time, the work environment became really uncomfortable and honestly quite hostile (poor communication, I was being spoken poorly about to clients while I was working 1m away, social media posts not naming me but throwing shade at me, and just not a healthy setup). It got to a point where I felt I had no real option but to walk away. I highlighted the owners behaviour and asked what she expected, she said it did not matter if I left immediately.
Now they’re demanding that I pay them the equivalent of 2 months of commission for not completing a “notice period.”
Here’s the situation:
- I don’t have any recollection of signing a contract that includes a notice period or penalty
- Pricing was dictated by them, clients came through their system, and payments went through them
- I was effectively only working for them at the time
After this came up, I consulted a lawyer. Based on their advice, I’ve sent a formal response stating:
- I do not accept their claim for 2 months of “missed commission”
- My understanding is that I did not agree to any such terms. The contract she’s referencing was not attached along with her email.
- In our final conversation, they gave me permission to stop work immediately, making any contract null and void.
- My lawyer also pointed out that the setup raises questions about whether this was truly a ZZP arrangement vs. something closer to employment, given the level of control involved. If she wants to move forward with this, we should reevaluate everything, based on her claims.
At this point I mainly want to close this chapter and move on, but I’m curious:
Has anyone here had a company try to claim money like this after leaving a ZZP role? From what I can tell, the company would actually owe me money for preventing me from completing my notice period.
Did they actually pursue it legally, or did it just fade out?
Would really appreciate hearing any similar experiences or insights — my brain knows she’s being delusional but sometimes I gaslight myself that she could be correct.

Hi everyone, I’m a nail artist that does a lot of nail art but 3D chrome is killing me. The photo I added is a different client.
The more 3D I make it, the faster it chips off. The more product I put overtop of it to protect it, the less crisp and 3D it is.
I usually use:
- function of vex 3d chrome gel black
- apply chrome
- top it over with a thick hard gel like yogo zombie thick or another type
- top coat
They do end up being 3d but not as crisp or as high as my client wants it to be (the silver chrome photo is not a reference to this issue, just an example of my previous Chrome work)
Should I be using a different product? The item in the photo almost looks like nail clay, are they using clear mixed with chrome powder (but then it’s not super chrome-y)
