Abus Bordo lite 6055/85 lock💪
Our home city is very safe, no stolen bikes at all, but you could never know.
Kickstand or not?
Recently I purchased a kickstand. But I think I don't like it. Thoughts?
1 week in with my new Muirwoods – best commuter bike I’ve ever owned!
After my first week with the Muirwoods commuter build, I can comfortably say it's easily the best bike I’ve ever owned!
Here is the current setup & mods list:
Rockbros mini bell: Small, clean, and surprisingly loud.
Dunlop saddle bag: Simple and subtle, but holds a puncture repair kit, tire levers, and a multitool perfectly.
Lezyne alloy pump: 10/10 for both style and functionality.
Brooks C17 saddle: Runs circles around the stock saddle in terms of comfort.
Shimano alloy flat pedals: Solid grip and great build quality.
Still waiting on a CatEye Quick computer to arrive and a bottle for the Fidlock mount, but it’s already feeling dialed in.
First major upgrade.
Brooks C17. It's another coffee shop! 👌
Kickstands
Hi! Are there any recommendations for a kickstand?
I have this type in my bike garage. But are there any good mounted options out there?
Swapped my carbon MTB for a Muirwoods – no regrets! 😅
After a few days of riding, I have to say I don’t regret swapping my Cube Reaction Pro Carbon for a "grown-up BMX" one bit. 😅 At 43, this Muirwoods absolutely hit the bullseye with that dad-bike nostalgia and serious 80s/90s vibe.
So far, replacing the saddle and the pedals felt like the only mandatory upgrades. But I think I’ll stick with this minimal setup for now and see if the upgrade bug eventually bites me to start throwing extras on it!
New bike day.
I just sold my carbon cube reaction pro and bought a muirwoods for myself and a kentfield 3 for my wife. 👌❤️
Hands down the best field watch ever.
Perfect in size, perfect mechanism, perfect fun! ❤️👌
From F-91W to the Omega 3861 Moonwatch, my 70+ watch collection has a bit of everything... but collecting Squares is hands down the most satisfying journey.
Over the years, my watch collection has grown to nearly 70+ pieces, spanning everything from humble F-91Ws all the way to the Speedmaster Moonwatch 3861.
But if I'm being completely honest, collecting Casio Squares has been the most genuinely enjoyable and addictive part of this hobby by far. There's just something special about the history, the variations, and the pure iconic form factor.
Here is my modest humble Square box. You might notice there’s exactly one slot left open... holding out hope that an MR-G Square will find its way there eventually to cap it all off.
Another grail acquired! 30th Anniversary "Lightning Yellow" (GW-M5630E) in NOS condition
Hey everyone,
Today another long-time grail of mine finally arrived: the 30th Anniversary GW-M5630E "Lightning Yellow"!
The watch is in absolute, flawless New Old Stock condition. I actually had the satisfaction of peeling off the original protective film from the engraved metal keeper myself!
Unfortunately, after 13 years of sitting in its tin, there is one small issue: the tilt sensor in the 3159 module has seized up. I ran the diagnostic test (A+B+D), but the sensor won't trigger, so the Auto EL feature is currently not working.
I’ve tried giving it a few firm pats to free the ball inside, but so far no luck. Honestly though? I think I can completely live with it. The factory gold case back screws are completely untouched, and I’m really not keen on opening up a virgin, pristine case just to fix the Auto EL when the manual light button works perfectly.
Still absolutely thrilled to add this golden-display icon to the collection and put it on the wrist!
