I was a bit worried how he might since I only recently grew to love Pantalone after Years of having little content to interact with and get interested in and he’s quickly become one of my favorites so I needed a…visual experience since now that I just got him i don’t wanna lose him

If anyone is wondering what I recolored him with i just changed the colors a bit on Ibis Paint to see how he’d look and added a lil touch of Blood for good effect, a true showman always goes for good effect

Rerir’s “drip marketing” nearly got as much likes and attention as Columbina did, he was at 97K, she was at 108K, this is a big deal because that’s NOT a significant difference, basically 18% difference, which isn’t as big of a gap as with some other characters, compare with Durin who’s at 61K, and Jahoda who’s only at 49K, that is a MASSIVE difference, see the difference now?, Rerir is SURPRISINGLY close with Columbina, they are also similar in RTS too, Rerir is at 24K, Columbina is at 30K, Durin is only at 18K, and Jahoda is at 8.2K…,

What’s so significant about this then?
This shows people want Rerir as much as Columbina, which is very good, since Rerir is an Evil, MALE Antagonist who is pretty Irredeemable in terms of actions, this raises stonks for Dottore Fans (and Pantalone Fans)

He also has a canonical LOVER, not implied, not hinted, a literal fucking FIANCÉE, this is not just good for The Tsaritsa (who we knew would be Playable but it’s good news since apparently she has a Son), but also Alice and most unexpectedly La Signora, since the original argument “she can’t be Playable since she has a Lover” is debunked, not a good reason, they either are building her up or just didn’t want her Playable (at the time),
I’d say chances are good with how much they’ve mentioned and they brought back Durin and Zibai soo….ahem! Back to the point

No for the argument against Rerir, “well there’s no guarantee it was Drip Marketing/it doesn’t fit the usual style!” ….are we serious?…alright, Nicole already debunks that since she has a unique background unlike any other Playable Character, DAINSLEIF, also has this and his Art is VERY SIMILAR to Rerir for those doubting, Dainsleif has been confirmed Playable for Khaenri’ah since the Game first launched, how are people still doubting this?, we even got to play as him in a Story-exclusive mode, he’s got an Icon and everything, not to get too off-topic, also Rerir’s background is pretty similar to Arlecchino’s…, now sorry to mention P*nts Merchant but it’s necessary Brothers, and to same extent, Sisters, she works in the favor of our Rächer of Solnari, also in Japanese he DOES have his Name on the top, since people are like “Dainsleif has his name on his! Rerir doesn’t! He NPC!”,
In the Image you can see Rerir’s standee billboard at an expo in China, this is significant since there’s not one for Weekly Bosses, Rerir also isn’t a Weekly Boss (unfortunately) and also debunks the narrative it was Weekly Boss marketing (what?), anyways only he has got this, Weekly Boss is just a card, not full on Art, as you can see he has next to Dainsleif in the Playable Characters section in the Khaenri’ah region, where he will most likely also become Playable, you can also sss Furina and Neuvillette have the same type of standee for reference, I grabbed this off r/RerirMains

He got an Emoji like Capitano did, which Dottore still hasn’t (probably will get it with the Blue Mask), which means there’s a 90% POSSIBILITY CAPITANO AND RERIR KEEP THE MASKS…since Scaramouche didn’t get an Emoji outside of Japan (along with La Signora) until Wanderer and they aren’t even useable in-Game, this means these will likely be their designs, the only point against this is Sandrone but…eh, her Emoji with her new design will probably be similar enough to her old one, you really notice once you have the full design of her how different it is, for an Emoji? No
We also got to control Mavuika, Ineffa, and Rerir in their POV, you could argue “well it’s Nefer reading through Rerir’s Memories!”….so? It’s his Model, they could’ve just shown Nefer when we control her and then show Rerir when we interact with people

I don’t know how many times this has been said or maybe my post is the first to explicitly say “I hate A.I ‘Art’” and not tip-toe around the subject

Alright so to clarify, what I mean is I hate how A.I “Art” has crept into every day lives, some without people realizing it, I hate how common place it has become, you practically can’t escape it at this point and then you have the worry that any Art you find off the Internet you can’t trace back to someone (whether they deleted their Account or they never actually had a Social Media and someone else uploaded it, most likely with their permission, there’s been cases like where it’s happened, I’ve known who the Artist was of something and check back few years later and their Account is gone) so then you have to go through other methods to make sure the Art you just found isn’t A.I so people who are pros in detecting A.I clown on you for having an A.I Image (unknowingly)
I used IsthisAi since it was the quicket option and I wanted to check immediately

I was searching for Fanart of Onslaught for my collection but also to use for Profiles among other things, albums, I also just like keeping fanart of some Characters, I’m sure this is something many people relate to, especially when commenting on him about him it’s good to have an Image of him so for people who are less familiar, they can get a good idea of what he looks like
Because i didn’t see the gem that clearly signals it was from gemini originally since it wasn’t in the Image and it was bad quality, i think originally this was just some Fanart someone did recently or maybe a long time ago and i just missed out on seeing it, definitely not Official since we don’t have that much official Art of Onslaught in the Marvel Vs Capcom style, so I was thinking this may have a MvC Artist and wanted to check out more of their work and see if there was anything I might like and also spread awareness of their Art and promote them for people who may also be into Marvel and MvC like I am, i think I found an accomplishment until a day later something bothers me and I get this random feeling I should do a check and put it through Google lens since i can’t seem to find the Artist, so I start searching and still cannot find anything, I see it’s on Deviantart so I click on the image however it takes me to a bit of unrelated images with some Onslaughts and Magneto’s thrown in but NOT what I’m looking for, so after maybe hours of scrolling hoping I can find it and see if there’s any Artist, I see a result from Pinterest so I click on it, since that’s where I found it and hopefully it has some answer, I find the exact image, and realize i didn’t bother to read the description since I was just happy to have found Onslaught Art and had decided I had finished using Pinterest for the day, I realize it has a link to Deviantart so I click it and realize the “Artist” makes alot of A.I Artwork along with possibly some actual Art since those looked drawn and colored by actual ink, so given how the Art had EXACTLY captured the MVC Style and Onslaught’s design from that Game I try to convince myself it could be have been one of the ones that was drawn since it doesn’t LOOK like A.I, unlike the Red Skull and Apocalypse which were obviously A.I and anyone could tell from the looks of it, to put my suspicion to rest and finally confirm to myself if i should delete and not use it since I don’t wanna give any credit to A.I Art, In somewhat of panic, since I may have unknowingly spread A.I, i remove it from any i type of collage or Album, I type in A.I finder and click on the quicker one, IsthisAi, I do a search by posting a Nimrod Art (another X-Men Villain, basically the Ultimate Sentinel) which has a symbol which I believe belongs to the Artist and clearly looks like someone inked this, the Nimrod Art gets a “likely real” “97% confidence” with a green checkmark, the Onslaught Art gets an “A.I generated” “97% confidence”, and just to make sure it doesn’t give every image the same percentage, I use a “We. CANT. FUCKING. READ!” Meme and get an “likely real” “86% confidence”, having definitive proof my image is A.I, i trash it and remove it from my Gallery and Marvel Villain Albums, make sure I have no more ties to any resemblance of it, I feel disappointed in myself since usually I think i’m smart enough and perceptive enough to tell the difference, since this time it looked VERY REAL and was near indistinguishable, I’m very worried in both myself but the fact the Art wasn’t legitimate since it’s rare to get MVC Onslaught Art that’s not just a closeup, with the only difference being Onslaught didn’t have a cape near his legs, it was armor but I was thinking Magneto had a cape so maybe he was given one

I think Artists can use A.I as a tool to help do things they normally can’t, like modeling backgrounds, and 3D, that’s historically what it’s been used for, CGI is essentially A.I, Computer Generated Software, C-G-I,
however it should NEVER take the place of real Artists, if it’s just a Meme I may dislike it but I mean it’s not like it’s affecting any Artist since…it’s a Meme, but when we’re talking about genuine Art, A.I should always be a tool, never a solution, and it’s an easy way for companies to cut out the middle man and not pay their Artists equally and still get Art, and it’s scary with how close it’s gotten to being like the real thing, and is starting to become harder to distinguish, sure Pro ”A.I defecter” people will flew and act like they can always tell, but that’s not important, what’s important is how GENUINELY HARD IT IS GETTING WHETHER IS SOMETHING IS AN ARTSTYLE OR ACTUAL A.I BECAUSE THEN AN ARTIST HAS TO SHOW HOW THEY MADE THEIR ART IF IT GETS ACCUSED OF BEING A.I FOR USING A SIMILAR STYLE, which should not be the case,

And as someone who inspires to some day be an Artist, it’s discouraging, demoralizing and disheartening, to wanna improve my Art skills, knowing it could end up becoming meaningless because A.I is starting to take the places of Artists and Corporations and making pushes to introduce it more or secretly use it without informing people, and it’s been getting harder to tell, what’s the point to try then?

I think we need stronger A.I boycotts and need to ban A.i being able to be passed off as real Art, it needs to exclusively only be for private use and Memeing and not be presented publicly as “Art” in public access

The most upsetting thing of all is Pinterest does actually warn you if something was edited with A.I, but there’s slips through the clicks and because this was uploaded with a link from another website it may have slipped the detectors, it sucks the amount of A.I Art on Pinterest now since it used to be a good place for finding pictures of your favorite things and Aesthetics, say you wanted a Hoodless figure aesthetic, Pinterest is your go to, want Knights? Pinterest, it was also a good place for years for finding Marvel Images that Google may not pull up when you search for Art or Images or specific Characters like alot of offical 90’s-2000’s Fanart is on there and I like being able to find Art on there and then putting through Google Lens to find the original to get a clearer version of the Image, and usually most have a source when you search it

It’s just upsetting because you can’t escape A.I anywhere now…Pinterest, Deviantart, even YouTube you can longer just find Historical Shorts, nope! It’s all A.I now….

BACKGROUND:

The Character in the picture in question is Onslaught (no not The Decepticon), a BIG 90’s X-Men Villain who’s essentially the collective combined consciousness of Charles Xavier’s desire for co-existence with Humanity, and Magneto/Erik Lennsherr/Max Eisnehardt’s Extremism/Belief of Mutant Superiority,

during a battle between The X-Men and Magneto’s Acolytes (basically think a less distinct version of The Brotherhood of Evil Mutants with no Mystique, Sabretooth, or Toad, Oh and with matching Outfits), Magneto crossed the final line and ripped the adamantium from Wolverine’s skeleton, basically in the 90’s they had Magneto decide Humanity wouldn’t change no matter and it was time he became “a despot. like the very thing he despised.”, yeah the 90’s had Magneto go full Authoritarian Dictator mode and basically decide all Humans needed to die or be enslaved, and he was gonna mess up the planet, so our Heroic X-Men of course step in to stop him, during the battle Magneto strips the metal from Logan’s bones, as previously mentioned, Xavier, decided “You’ve gone too far, this time Magnus!” and used his telepathic powers to blast Magneto’s mind and render him catatonic, seeing he was too dangerous to just let get away this time

This was a VERY controversial moment for Marvel, especially X-Men fans as some questioned is Charles went too far and Iiirc I think he wiped Magneto’s mind as well so he could never harm anyone again? Doesn’t sound like something the “Good Guys” would do but to be fair Magneto went REALLY FAR this time and couldn’t just be let go, only to do it again, this was an attempt to stop him once and for all, however the clash of psyches and ideals created something far worse….it unleashed Onslaught.

So what did Onslaught do that makes him so impactful? Well, I won’t spoil the ending in case anyone actually wants to read The Onslaught saga and Heroes Reborn …..but basically…..he got rid of EVERY MARVEL SUPERHERO, and made it possible for Baron Zemo to fill the void with his Thunderbolts: so yeah, THAT big of a threat, this Guy was THE Final Boss of both X-Men and Marvel in general, he actually was designed as both an enemy for The X-Men and The Avengers in the crossover Onslaught Saga, which basically involved most of the important Marvel Heroes, but these days is more known primarily as an X-Men Antagonist, funny how the Final Bosses of X-Men Villains are quite literally just named “Onslaught” and “Apocalypse”, yeah doesn’t get anymore obvious these Guys are Villains than that….

This is probably precisely why he naturally was a fit for The Final Boss of the original Marvel Vs Capcom, since he perfectly fits as the Antagonist of two Worlds, then succeeded by original Antagonist called Abyss of Marvel Vs Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes, and Galactus in Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds

Honestly I’m a bit surprised by Loki, i think he kinda throws Ghost Rider’s Team off and they should have had Moon Knight instead, I wish each Team had 5 slots since Dr. Doom, Magneto, Loki, Green Goblin, Carnage actually make sense as a Team, Doom and Loki were historical close partners who have worked together many times, he worked with Magneto during Acts of Vengeance, he and Norman Osborn was partners in Dark Reign and Siege, and he worked with Carnage in Axis pretty sure

I’m so fucking pissed, I’m reminded of when I ACTUALLY LIKED HER AGGGGHHHHHHH THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN WHAT SHE LOOKED LIKE…WHY GOD…WHY…WE COULD HAVE HAD PEAK

I get we aren’t 100% SURE he’s gonna be Playable but that didn’t stop people with Sandrone, and in all the Character Design Glaze posts everyone other Male Character in Snezhnaya is getting glazed but him, i personally think he has the best and most unique design

Honestly at first i thought he was just Dark Hair Baizhu when we only had 5 seconds of him in Lazzo, however now that we’ve seen his full design he’s literally Peam, the Purple goes so well on him and contrasts perfectly with the black and all the symbolism in his design with the symbols and rings, connected to a Slavic Emperor, it’s perfect

Did we all forget everyone is genuinely terrified of Mob Boss Pants Merchant in side quests and even the other Harbingers don’t wanna be in-debt to him and don’t trust him? He’s literally a Genshin Character if they were a Mobster, who’s a Banker for his day job/cover, where are the funny Mafia memes huh?

Honestly I agree with Rerir though, he was justified.
