firerescue1.comI have actively edited on Wikipedia for over a decade AMA
I have been an editor on Wikipedia (specifically on the English Wikipedia) somewhat actively for over a decade.
My first and only Wikipedia account was created on July 24, 2014. I wasn't very active initially, really understood how to properly use and edit on Wikipedia and was a kid at the time. It wasn't until a few years later that I really started edit on Wikipedia a lot and have been quite active on there since.
I have also create quite a few new articles and also started and greatly helped create decent draft articles, some of which are longer drafts and are actual Wikipedia articles now.
I also have autism and ADHD and mostly edit articles related to my special interests and some of my fixations that I sometimes have.
Some major topics I have edited Wikipedia articles related to a lot in recent years have been:
-Politics in the United States
-Rail in the United States
Especially high-speed rail although there currently isn't much of that in the states. There are howevr several under-construction high speed rail routes/lines and rail upgrade projects for existing rail to allow for higher operating speeds (many of which are facing some legal issues and having far from enough funding), as well many proposed ones routes/lines.
-The Simpsons
I have been a minor fan of that show for many years, since I was a younger teenager, after watching all of the episodes of a Season 4 DVD my parents own
-Autism
