Hearing static in audio
A lot of songs have points where static shows, popping, buzzing and other audio errors show up. I’m unsure how to fix this so I thought I’d ask here. I wish I had more info but I’m currently looking for the cause myself.

I was looking for a file but could only find the song tracker on this reddit, people talking about the album and no downloads anywhere from what I can see. I'm sure I'm overlooking something but I just felt the need to ask, sorry if this is a common or dumb question
I’ve ran into an issue where I can’t really see people, and the sights are very zoomed out on 16:9, so I thought running stretched to make them zoomed in might be a good idea. The only thing is I feel very inconsistent with everything I try on this tv, and I’m unsure if running 4:3s the best solution. I’m coming here to ask if anyone else plays stretched on tv and if it’s a good move or not
I have my pc plugged to the hisense a65 hdmi 1 with vrr on windows enabled. The tv says vrr’s off and I can’t find it anywhere in settings. It was supposed to have it so I’m a bit confused. Anyone know what I should do?
Interacting with anything causes a lot of lag. Either freezing or giving an error. It’s pretty much unusable for anything longer than a quick song select. I don’t think it’s my downloads but I have adblock ririx, volume presentage/ fullscreen daksh2k, quick queue ohistom, sort play hoeci, smooth scrolling aziz, aoty woidzero, and apps are listening stats and genius annotations
My brother has a g602 mouse and told me his middle mouse stopped working a few months ago. I couldn’t find anything to fix it so I thought I’d ask here.
I have a 7900xt paired with a 7800x3d and 32g ddr5 ram running the game on a 4k 60hz tv (hisense a65). Tried lowering my res to 16:10 1920 x 1200 in game and might just keep it, but I thought these specs would be able to do 4k. I run 90-104 fov, no vsync, and anti-lag enabled (this helps bc I’m on tv but might contribute) no adaptive res, no anti aliasing, low streaming (2-3), filtering bilinear (although I kinda wanted 16x due to visibility issues) no ambient occlusions, low sun shadow, low shadow detail, disabled spot detail, disabled volumetric and dynamic spot shadows, high model detail, low map, low effects, low impact mark, and low ragdoll.
I have my Hisense A65 connected to my pc. I watch tv and play games on it, but when I’m playing games it’s somewhat hard to spot people. I was wondering if there’s better settings for it to achieve the best quality.
Right now I’m on 45 contrast, 50 brightness, 50 color, 0 tint, 0-25 sharpness , warm1, 80 backlight, 2.2 gamma.
I’m trying to understand the specific values in which they change by so I can calculate it more accurately. It changes the curser speed which is still effected in windowed. higher res gives a lower sens and vise versa. I’m trying to understand what sens makes my curser 1x1 with my desktop so I can use it to calculate my sens as 1x and figure out the value I would need to add or subtract while changing resolutions. for example if 1x with my sens as 1, and res 1080p (it’s not but just an example) and I lowered it to 720 and it turned to .5x (also not) then my sens would be .5 to get the same as what it is on 1 at 1080. I just can’t figure out how to calculate that value, but if I found the 1x1 resolution to my curser that would probably be my main with this game. anyone know how to determine this?
Alternative question: Is there a fix for inconsistent frame time/ stuttering? I remember this game being poorly optimized but I don’t remember a fix, and I’m sure that greatly impacts the sensitivity as well screen tearing’s also very visible. Amd 7900xt and 7800x3d with ddr5 32g running on a pretty high speed ssd.
I’m sorry to ask, but I don’t have another headset and I suspect this one might be damaged. In the song (Morning Bell / Radiohead) at 0:11 to 0:28 does anyone else hear a small distorted rattle in the left ear-cup? it’s around 0:11, 0:15, 0:18, 0:23 and a few more before and during vocals.
(I’m on 100% Spotify 70% windows volume and can hear it on all eq’s)
It’s an electronic based album mostly so I’m hoping it’s intended and the headphones are fine. I’m just worried because my last pair had the same sound that got increasingly worse to the point I couldn’t use them; and I just got these recently. again sorry for asking, I would test another pair if I had them, I’m just not sure if the peaks normal or not.
It’s either straight porn, the ai “swipe left” type of videos or something else related to adult content. It’s not just me, I’ve asked around and others are getting these ads too. Doesn’t matter how much I say not interested and report it.
I just bought encre noire because I wanted a dark fragrance to go along with my sweeter ones. I’ve seen a lot of divisiveness on it ranging from being one of the best low end buys to it smelling putridly horrible. Most reviews I see say it’s good, but I’d like to ask someone who’s maybe had it prior. Do you think I made the right call ordering it? I really don’t want the people around me thinking I smell “putrid” as some reviews say.
I always hear “snap” but places I go for lyrics always have different words. Does anyone know the official?
I can’t really land on a preset that maximized what the maxwells are capable of. I’m using gadgetry techs -2,1,3,2,-2,0,0,-1,2,-2 preset and was wondering if there were better ones out there for music/ general use. I like a mix of different music so it’s a bit hard to land on one that maximizes all that the Maxwell can do without cutting corners.
I know we see post all the time asking if the sites gone, but this one caught me off guard. Just asking what this error means and if it should be worrisome
I’ve never used a mouse which scroll wheel doesn’t eventually break. Whichever way I scroll it will always go up and down at the same time. Spraying it out with compressed air never fully fixes it, always reverts to its previous state. I just want up to be guaranteed up and down to be guaranteed down without skipping and without spending $100+ every time
Not even an hour ago the lights were behaving normally. I was moving stuff around in my setup and when I came back the lights were off. The game mode, cap/scroll lock lights worked, but nothing would fix the main ones; restarting, pressing the light button with numerous combos, closing ghub and any other background apps that might interfere, messing around with settings, trying to update, etc. Anyone know anything else I can do?
edit: also the cap lock key is blinking
My ex recommended me attack on titan and we watched up to season 3 before she left. It was a show I wanted to finish with her and I promised to her and myself I’d only watch it with her. I feel like I’d be breaking that promise if I started it back up even though its been a while, I only recently started listening to a band we listened to again but I feel like putting it back on would feel wrong in the back of my mind all the way through. I know I’m not the only one who’s been in this situation so I want to hear what others think. Thanks
I listen to a lot of different types of music that varies in mixing, so not having audio normalization on makes switching songs very inconsistent. I also use local files, but whenever a song from streaming switches to one from local files in my playlist, it’s really loud. I was wondering if there was a way to fix this.
