I work in corporate and I feel like I'm severely underpaid. I don't usually make workload a point of comparison but with the state of the world and increasing expenses, I feel like nalulugi na ko dito.
I'm in a managerial level role, but I think those who are levels below me (band-wise) are paid more. Salary corrections aren't existent here and promotions are the only way to increase your pay. I was included in last year's batch and the salary increase was laughable.
They recently released the yearly inflation increase and it's one again a huge joke. It's the same % across all levels, but it's below the actual inflation rate.
The sad thing is, I don't really want to resign. I just want to get paid fairly for the job I do and for the position I'm in. If hindi talaga, then is my only option leaving?
