You can use a plastic lid as to make a beautiful kumihimo disk and rope!

Kumihimo is a Japanese weaving technique, it’s very simple so I was able to do it with just a youtube guide: https://youtu.be/y40cudjj76o?is=u3ATVFMiYB8zCIUp

The power went out during a storm yesterday, so I had fun showing my family how to make these with just things we had lying around! I prefer using the plastic lid over cardboard, because it doesn’t fold over, but you can use any sturdy material available to you.

The Inner Sailor Guardians in the 'Sailor Moon Sailor Stars' Opening by Key Animator Hisashi Kagawa

Sailor Star Song · Kae Hanazawa

Note:

This is a repost because, on June 26, 2026, I mistakenly attributed the art style in the "Sailor Stars" OP to Katsumi Tamegai instead of Hisashi Kagawa.

So I had to delete this dumb post of mine.

Learn from my mistake and always do your research before strongly assuming things.

This is a really dark and exciting manhwa, where a pauper falls in love with a chancellor’s wife! I highly recommend it.

I’ve been doing lots of crafting recently, and I really feel like Jang in this scene 😓

Please give me zero waste upcycling ideas

Hello! I craft a lot and want as many ideas as possible. I live with my family and have to use the things they buy. Please give me ideas with what you do with the inevitable trash that piles up

Some stuff I havent yet found use for:

Dried out markers(I figure the clean colorful caps could be used for something)

Dried out plastic pens

Pringles Can - I have too many markers/pencils/pens to use as a holder for those as usually suggested

Empty plastic mcdonalds cup w/ lid - currently used as yarn storage but I have a feeling theres something better for it since the lid fits so nicely

Empty chip bags and plastic bags

Plastic Shopping bags (currently using as trash bags but that depletes slowly)

Paper shopping bags - using as recycling bags but that depletes slowly
