Saw the Army of Darkness omnibus in the store but they only had volume 3. Has anyone checked these out? Looking for other ways to satiate my fandom

Started a second run a while back to make some of the story choices I didn’t the first time around. I’m on about day 12. Had to take a several month hiatus for work now I’m debating hopping straight back in or waiting to finish as we get closer to the release of Darkwood 2. Who knows when that’s going to be though.

Should I finish this run now or just leave it on the back burner until we get closer to the sequel?

I’m at the beginning of the trolley combat level and the door will not open. I’ve tried quitting, restarting the whole level, and even going back to the level before this one and this thing is still broken.

I made it through the whole front line mission never killing anyone but I did use the knockout punch stealth attack. Still didn’t get the achievement. Am I seriously not allowed to incapacitate anyone?

Picking up the game after a long hiatus and playing through the campaigns and all three endings with just mind alpha head, core, arms, and legs. Any recommendations?

Has anyone encountered an issue where their subscription just randomly stops? I signed into my account but can’t watch anything because it says I’m not subscribed. Kind of annoying?

My friend and I are planning a co op run in bl1 since we’ve never played it before but we’ve done bl2 and TPS together. An issue we’ve run into in the past is starting dlc at the wrong time and ending up overleveled.

What should the order of journey 1, journey 2, and the dlcs to avoid that happening?

I can’t wait to see this move in December but it does make me wonder what comes next. Hopefully Robert takes a nice long break and always avoids becoming a director for hire and continues to make the movies he wants to make.

Still I can’t help but think his sensibilities would make for a great more faithful adaptation of Washington Irving’s the legend of sleepy hollow

I’m starting to think that Dario Argento movies might not be my thing (aside from suspiria of course). I could barely follow anything going on in this one.

Of course the visuals were stunning as always and really were what kept me going. The death scenes were also entertaining. Overall idk if I liked it that much. After not really enjoying bird with crystal plumage and now this one, I’m realizing how much of the heavy lifting the soundtrack by goblin did for suspiria.

Did I miss something?

Lauren was in her mid 20s during shooting but I’m confused how old the characters are since they go to high school but then they can order drinks at the club like it’s no big deal. Did they just use fake ID?

Absolutely adore the OG and I’ve played DD2 about 32 hours and I’m really not enjoying it at all. The chaotic nature of combat and how it takes so many more turns to end fights. The added layers of rng with the random items at inns. The stupid relationship system. The fact that enemy attacks seem to all do three things at once. The fact that 30-40 minutes of progress is lost when your party gets wiped.

I’ve made many attempts at Act 1 and only pulled off a victory over chains of denial once and I barely made it with one party member left. The rest of those 32 hours I’ve been getting my ass kicked.

I really want to enjoy this game which is why I’ve reinstalled it several times after wanting to drop it completely. The improvements to the graphics and animations with the character bios is all excellent. What do I need to do to get past this general sense frustration preventing me from enjoying dd2?

Finally getting around to checking out the third sin so I decided to do a fresh play through (my third one since release). Out of curiosity I decided to track the number of times I die to each boss in the order that I fought them in:

Safe to say that the servants from the third sin trivialize the difficulty somewhat! What do you all think of my death totals?

Actually much better than I thought it was going to be! Never ceases to amaze all of the underwater scenes. Ricou browning was an absolute tank for doing all that. I’m a decent swimmer myself but I couldn’t imagine having to perform like that.

Overall though not as good as the original but better than I thought.

I definitely played these way out of order but I finally got around to playing the OG. And while War is def my favorite horseman, it’s not hard to see why his game didn’t really catch on back in the day.

Definitely feels clunkier than something like GoW3 or Dante’s inferno which came out the same year I think.

That being said I think the art style of darksiders really shines in the levels on earth where you see how the demons and angels have occupied various areas (silithas webs all over the iron canopy for example).

All that being said I’m super glad I finally experienced the one that started it all and I look forward to playing as war in darksiders 4!

I’m at the final area of grime 2 and I still don’t really understand what’s going on. Definitely I bear some responsibility for that because I didn’t pay much attention to the character dialogue 😅 this game is so much more talky than the first

Been at it for a while trying to get the exact right armor pieces with the specific divine grace I want but this is really taking a while to get the last few pieces. I’ve been using the Sudama blessing and grinding the lesser crucibles when they become available but more often than not the pieces drop in a lower rarity or with the wrong divine grace. Any tips on how to maximize drop rate? Or do I just have to thug it out and pray to RNJesus?
