College Money Refund From Dean's List

My partner used to go to wake tech and would get refunds(?) every semester when they did well academically. Is this a thing that happens normally? I can't find anything on the website.

Been actually listing things and got this in two weeks!! I'm really excited :)

I've started making hand fans with pretty designs and it's working out well for me! I feel this is pretty good for actually only having these listed for two weeks. I've had my shop open for a year but never posted anything.

Problem with sticker sizing

I'm trying to make credit card skins on my cricut. I had the sizing figured out perfectly for one of them, but when I transferred the shape (with the exact same dimensions, I copied and pasted it) it is now a different size. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Trying to do print then cut but confused on bleed

Hi there! I'm trying to make some stickers with print then cut but I'm running into an issue. I'm going to print the paper at Staples. I'm making credit card skins so I NEED the stickers to be true to size from printing to the cutting. Is there a way to print the stickers so that they are true to size? I'm worried the Staples printers are going to add a white border around the paper which will shrink the sticker size.

Is there a way to solve this? Thank you for any help :)

cricuts themselves dont work! a cat has to be nearby to telekinetically move the blade

H2C mini / H2E : My dream printer that doesn't exist (yet 🙏). What do you think!?

How would you all feel about a printer that is a smaller version of the H2C?

Here's what features I would want to really keep the "mini" aspect:
- Dual nozzle
-Vortek system for second nozzle. The vortek only uses 3 maximum hotends.
- Keep the small build plate size (256 mm x 256 mm)
-Ability too hook up a lot of AMS units
- On the fence about laser stuff. On one hand, I could see having the laser set up here as a way to draw in new customers who want laser abilities at a smaller price point compared to the h2c. On the other hand, I do also see how this could distract from H2C sales.

People ruining the chance for a Disabled child to get a wheelchair for free

I posted a fundraiser for the materials and filament needed to make a MakeGood wheelchair (3d printed wheelchairs that are provided at no cost to a family with a Disabled child) in the 3d printing subreddit. Reddit probably wasn't the place to go but I had hope for people.

I posted a realistic cost for the materials in a GoFundMe, which is roughly $300. Someone in the comments immediately went "why print one when you can buy a metal one for cheaper". They linked to a 28 lb (NOT including the wheels) hospital chair.

For reference, chairs that heavy are ABSOLUTELY too heavy for a child to be pushing on their own. Trying to push a chair that heavy can cause long term shoulder damage. It also did not have a needed backrest or cushion, which is detrimental to health. Pressure sores, bruising, spine degradation, etc. I am in a wheelchair, am an adult, and can't even push my own 10 lb frame without special wheels. Granted, the chair I am printing is still pretty heavy, but after the weight of the wheels on the hospital chair, would be lighter.

Same guy said that since the link to the chair he sent was an "approved chair" (whatever tf that means, just because it can be sold doesn't mean it's good for you) it's not going to cause long term damage.

Decided to delete the post since everyone was up in arms.

Lost hope in humanity a little.

I'm so upset and frustrated. Abled bodied people ruining the chance for a child to get a chair.

I explained that I am in a wheelchair so I have a lot of knowledge on this. I decided to delete the post since everyone was up in arms.
