I finally finished my Lord for Jean today! however I played her almost entirely in qp with one or two comp matches. I was wondering what is the accuracy jean mains who actively main her for comp usually have in their comp games so I know if I can acc make her work or not

this is the fourth time in the series Alicent has been SA’d. And once again, it’s done not for HER own characterization or to explore anything meaningful, it’s just shock value and to make Aemond look bad. I am so glad instead of creating a realistic nuanced accurate portrayal of a woman in a patriarchial society trying to do the best she can we instead get multiple scenes of her being sexually assaulted that then immediately get glossed over with no subsequent consequence or impact. isnt this show just so feminist!

I’ll forever be salty about this decision she was THE most deserving character of more expansion from the books and instead we got them giving her storyline to rhaena cause they were lazy

So in like the least alarmingly way possible I don’t think I’ve ever related to a character as much as I have Cersei (no not in that way), I can kind of feel for her alot of her chapters although she’s a terrible human and I just all around really adore her character. But I feel like I can’t really find a character who encapsulates her as well as she does, so does anyone have any good recs for media that has Cersei esque characters?

For the Roberts rebellion era survivor characters, so Doran Catelyn Ned Stannis and Cersei, you have to assume that in this situation these characters backstories are the exact same. So you cannot say that if you were Cersei, you’d have never married Robert or if you were Ned you’d have married Ashara Dayne or something. This obviously does not apply to Rhaegar.
Also assume that every action you’re taking for this character you’re doing with the intention of making the most beneficial situation for them, and that you’ll be facing the same conflicts these characters do (So for example for Cersei, yes, you WILL have to deal with the fact your brother is your lover and your kids are bastards, and Ned figuring it out)

Like I don’t really get his plan. Ok, he wants revenge against the Lannisters for Elia, he wanted Arianne originally to marry Viserys and help him retake the throne, Viserys dead, ok then new plan, marry Quentyn to Daenerys, uh oh Quentyn dead, ok new plan he isn’t aware of, Arianne is personally going to try and marry Aegon and have the martells take the throne there.
But like why does he need to marry Trystane and Myrcella? His plan is going to end with one of his children as consort to the Seven Kingdoms and House Baratheon / Lannister paying for their role in Elia‘s demise, but he clearly isn’t interested in trying to make the Martells consort through a Baratheon marriage. He wants their house to pay and he gets mad at arianne for the queensmaker plot and doesn’t intend to incite the war through trying to crown Myrcella with dornish law.
Was it just to seem cordial with the crown? Cause if that was the case why did he not stop Oberyn from basically beefing with them in the capital, and I mean it’s kind of an open secret the Martells and Dornishmen are still mad over Elia’s death, she was literally their princess diana
