OMG Victoria St turns into Campus

Echo says “well known Liverpool nightlife venue is set to relaunch under new ownership this month, with GBar owner Amy Gwynn taking over. OMG, found on the Pride Quarter’s Victoria Street, announced it would be closing its doors for the last time on Saturday, June 6.”

Glitch with donation bucket PS5

I have discovered that before you actually place a donation bin, whilst it is still in edit mode the guests can still throw money into an unplaced donation bin whilst freely moving if around.

Bolt scooters capped at 12MPH is the most infuriating feature !!!

It is enforced via city council tendering I believe. But in reality anyone can jump into a car and burn round the residential streets at whatever speed they please. It’s a completely wrong approach.

Opinions on Liverpool MP Kim Johnson

Never seen her never spoken to her. Never knocked on my door. All I know about her is that she regularly misses votes and uses dentist appointments as excuses. Has none of the familiarity that you get out of Andy burnham. Doesn’t seem interested in building bridges in the community.

‘Isolating’ living besides busy arterial road

Pedestrianise the whole lot install children’s play parks grass community gardens and trees, allotments. Roads are bad for small business. Coalition austerity caused the problems here decimated neighbourhoods.

Too many NIMBYS in Liverpool

Don’t want bus lanes
Don’t want electric scooters
Don’t want pedestrianised shopping streets; Bold St, Castle St, Lark Lane
Don’t want Parisian style outdoor dining

Resistant to any type of change or progress. Tends to be the people reasonably comfortable in their situation and does not rely on any public transport.

Remember the complaints the lime street bus lane redevelopment caused.

I’m pretty sure the only thing they want is more cars on the roads, more traffic, and more congestion! Do these petrol heads not understand the above schemes benefit their driving by reducing traffic.

Complaining about e-scooters on pavements infront of a van on the pavement

Received from friends of Chinatown group. Don’t know why Lib Dem’s email is on it.

Councillors opposing bus lanes is harmful to ordinary people and forces everyone into car dependency

It is ridiculous counter productive behaviour to force more people into driving everywhere

He really wants free parking for “women’s safety” who supports this turnip?

Why do some people want to turn Bold St back into a road?

Bold street castle street - there are some people around who want to turn these places back into roads. I think they are either brainwashed or being paid by the oil lobby to push certain views. Austerity coalition Lib Dem Tory policies gutted the communities especially the north, sold off all the social houses.

Robot vacuum switched with cans of Pepsi

Placed an order last week for a robot vacuum from amazon. It's currently retailing for £699.99 and was due to be delivered on Friday along with a separate parcel from a separate order.

Was waiting for them to arrive and both orders were on the tracker. As the delivery driver arrived i went outside as a password was required for the vacuum, he said he didn't have it and knew nothing about it. He had the other parcel and sure enough as i went back inside the vacuum showed as 'attempted delivery'.

After two attempts i managed to get it rescheduled to be delivered today as i was away over the weekend. Was very happy when it arrived, only to then open the box and be greeted by two crates of pepsi cans rather than a robot vacuum. I spoke to a customer service advisor, no apology, just said i need to return it under an 'incorrect item' being received. They organised the return, but it seemed almost too simple. I'm worried it will get back to amazon and they simply won't believe me.

I've taken photos of the package and screenshots of the customer service conversation, but should i be doing something else like contacting the police? Thinking about it, i'm not sure why i've got to take it to the post office, can they not pick it up? Also where would this have happened in the system, with the delivery guy, at the depot? Any advice appreciated

EDIT: Thanks all for the advice. Guess i'll have to wait and see if Amazon give the refund, if not then i'll look at the charge back option. Certainly the last time i use Amazon for any expensive purchase!

“Outdoor seating ruined everything lad” Mattas on Bold St

Mattas says outdoor seating has ruined everything on bold street, and they want free parking for women because paid parking somehow leads to imminent death. Consider my flabber gasted. Tell me you’re not funded by the big oil lobby.

Did Joe Anderson hold the city back compared to Manchesters growth?

For example giving infrastructure projects to contractors who clearly weren’t able to complete. And obliterating bus networks.
