With recent Fire OS updates, app footprints getting larger, and Amazon rolling out new UI layouts and Vega OS hardware, I’ve been testing how different Fire TV devices handle performance over time.

On older hardware (and even basic 4K sticks), background app closures, storage limits, and home screen ad loading seem to be the biggest friction points users run into compared to platforms like Google TV or Roku.

I swear to God every single one I come across is 18+ and I respectfully do not use them for obvious reasons. I remember when character ai used to be rated E for Everyone. Now it's just the worst AI app istg. Please if there's any that are SFW I would love to know.
