Best view of the fireworks without going close to the festival
Looking for a good place to watch the fireworks without going into the festival. I was thinking maybe the top level of a parking garage, any good spots?

My husband and I are looking for something fun to do after the Rangers game tonight. We’ll probably be around Bishop Arts or Deep Ellum. Any recommendations for bars, live music, dessert spots, or anything else worth checking out?
I currently use a Kryptonite lock, but I'm wondering if I should add a second lock for extra security. For those of you with e-bikes, how many locks do you use, and what type? Is one good lock enough, or is two the way to go?
My husband and I will be in Galveston for a week. We're definitely planning to spend time at the beach, but we're looking for other fun things to do as well.
We're not big on bar hopping—we'd rather explore local attractions, great restaurants, museums, nature, historic sites, or any hidden gems. What would you recommend?
This sliver metal broke apart. Can I just replace that part?
Hey everyone! I'm planning on watching the Addison Kaboom Town fireworks this year but don't necessarily want to go inside the main festival.
Does anyone have recommendations for good spots near Addison with a clear view of the fireworks? Parks, parking lots, restaurants, or anywhere that's worked well for you in the past. I'm okay getting there early if needed, but I'd rather avoid being stuck in the worst of the traffic afterward.
Hey everyone! I was hoping to go to Fan Fest next weekend. Does anyone know the best place to find tickets, or if there’s an official ticket website? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
Anyone know more information about this? It's actually heart breaking...
After doing some digging this is what caused tony to "Beat up the man" because he threated tony's wife and grandchildren that he will r*pe them. This is not the first time it happened.
I’ve been dating my boyfriend since the beginning of the year, and we made it official last month. We do plenty of boyfriend things outside of sex: dates, quality time, talking throughout the day, etc.
But sometimes after we have sex, especially when I come over late at night, I get the feeling that it’s time for me to leave. I don’t feel used, and the sex is great. I just find myself wanting more connection afterward: cuddling, talking, or spending the night together.
Has anyone else felt this way? How did you talk to your partner about wanting more intimacy after sex without making it seem like you’re complaining?
I just finished my second year working for a private family-owned jewelry business and recently received a 10% raise. I don't work in sales but I help with administrative work and marketing which is mainly under my direction
I'm grateful for my raise, but it made me wonder, what do you consider a good raise these days?
My boyfriend mentioned wanting to have a sit-down conversation about expectations now that we're officially a couple. I think it's a great idea, but I'm wondering what topics are important to discuss.
We've already deleted all of our dating apps, so that's not really a concern for either of us. What are some things you wish you had talked about early in a relationship? Boundaries, communication, time together, future goals, etc.?
I'd appreciate any advice on what to bring up and how to make sure we're both on the same page. Thanks!
I’m about 3 hours away from Wichita Mts and have been looking for somewhere with actual mountain views and good scenery since we obviously don’t really get that here in Dallas lol. My boyfriend and I both love mountains, hiking, and nice overlooks, so I came across Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge and it looks beautiful.
For people who have been there, when is the best time to visit? Is mid-July unbearably hot or still manageable if you go early in the day? Would it be smarter to wait until fall for better weather and views?
Also, is it worth the drive for a weekend trip? We’re mainly looking for something scenic, relaxing, and different from the usual Dallas area stuff.
I’m 30ish and pretty new to the Dallas area, and I’m honestly trying to figure out how people make genuine friendships as adults anymore.
I feel like most people in our age group already seem to have their established friend groups, and I’m not really looking for just “hi and bye” relationships or acquaintances.
I play sports and have hobbies, so I meet people and have conversations pretty regularly, but turning those interactions into actual friendships outside of those activities feels surprisingly hard.
I work for a small private family-owned company, and next week my bosses are going out of town for a conference for about a week. While they’re gone, I’ll be the only one at the office handling things like phone calls, deliveries, etc.
Today they told me they’d cover my lunch while they’re away just keep the receipt, which was nice of them. Normally though, I just drive home for lunch since I only live about 15 minutes away and usually make my own food.
I don’t want to take advantage of the offer or order something crazy expensive, but I also don’t know what’s considered a normal/reasonable amount to spend in this situation. For context, they told me I still need to stay at the office during lunch in case anything comes up so I would have to have it delivered to the office
What would you personally consider a fair price range for lunch in this situation?
I know fast growth usually means higher risk, but I’m curious what people would personally pick with only $1,000 to start with. Would you go all into one stock, split it up, or play it safe with ETFs? Trying to hear different opinions before I make any moves lol.
I paid a lot for this tint and it’s already starting to ripple/look wavy after only a year. I also paid extra for heat protection, so I didn’t expect this. Is this normal, or should I go back to the shop and ask them to fix/reinstall it?
I’ve noticed a good amount of flies in the kitchen area. What could it be? They are only in the dining and kitchen area
First time at a Martin Garrix show and I’ll be in the pit for Dallas night 1. For anyone who’s seen him before, how early should I get there to be close, and what should I expect up front? Weather looks kinda mid (around 58°, cloudy, rain earlier in the day), so I’m curious if that changes anything with crowds or getting a spot.
I’ve been generating images using ChatGPT, but the output resolution is pretty small (usually around ~1200px). I’m trying to upscale them to at least double the size while keeping good detail and avoiding that overly “smoothed” or fake look. Any recs?
