Pakistani Second Officer Hussain Yousuf issues an urgent appeal to the Government of Pakistan for immediate intervention and rescue, as they have been held hostage for more than 26 days now

Somali pirates have released a new video of 17 hostages, including Pakistani nationals, hijacked aboard the merchant vessel MT Honour 25.

In the footage, Pakistani Second Officer Hussain Yousuf issues an urgent appeal to the Government of Pakistan for immediate intervention and rescue. Yousuf reports that the crew is being held at gunpoint under extreme conditions, surviving on just one meal of boiled rice a day and contaminated tank water.

Families of the captured crew members have launched protests in Karachi, demanding swift state action to negotiate their safe release

I keep getting reels of couples fighting where one person records the other during a real argument. In one video, the guy was in his underwear and was being recorded by his wife. He asked her where she had been the previous night, implying she had gone out in the middle of the night. He accused her of meeting her bf and even physically abused her in the video. I mean, why would you upload this?

This is just one example. Some people from Bihar upload all kinds of things, like a guy recording how he and his friends were vandalizing train seat covers, and he even seemed amused by it.

I myself am from Bihar but have lived most of my life in other states, so I don’t really understand why some people from Bihar are so comfortable broadcasting their private fights or sharing videos of themselves doing illegal things.

This is one of the reasons Bihar has a bad reputation—because there are so many videos of such behavior. It’s not like these things don’t happen in other states; it’s just that they don’t get as much limelight
