What is the black pool in Radium Onsen?

Hi friends. I recently visited the male side of Radium Onsen in shinsekai. There was a pool of dark/black water. I did not get inside. I do not speak Japanese and did not bring my translation app (cell phone) inside the onsen. What is the purpose of this pool and why is it dark?

Etiquette tips in a Japanese heavy metal concert?

Hi friends. I want to start out by saying I am not asking for tickets. (Mods)

I am flying out tomorrow and am attending a Heavy metal concert. Metal shows can get rowdy depending on the band and I want to make sure I am not stepping on toes figuratively or literally.

Why do you want springtails in your enclosure?

Hi friends, curious outsider here. It seems that springtails are a common topic, many people using the phrase "My steak is too juicy and my lobster is too buttery." I assume this means that they want as many spring tails as possible. Thank you for your response.

I don't get it.

You spend all weekend knitting a bug, then you throw the fake bug into the water and a fish mistakes it for a bug and then you pull the fish out of the water and go "Hah! I tricked you!" Then throw him back.

Is that about right?

Need help remembering the name of a band or release.

The band was either grindcore or death metal with industrial/noise influence. Their logo and album art were all clearly digitally generated and black and white with high contrast. Their logo looked like thousands of outwardly radiating spikes, as if a pile of fiberglass slivers came together. The album art of one album(demo?) had two black slabs that were slowly coming together, in between pinchpoint of the two monoliths was a tiny humanoid figure, clearly trapped and probably in a great deal of suffering. The song/album titles generally combined digitalism and nihilism. I want to say that "nightmare generator' was a title somewhere, but I cant be sure.

How did you find your "Style" or "Niche" as an artist?

I have often heard it is important to have a style or brand. We can all recognize a Dali or Van Gogh from a mile away. How did yours develop? Did you set out with a goal in mind, or did it happen organically from the market? I specifically want to hear your stories and the direction you ended up going.

I am a metal artist who is working on my first art endeavor making a human sized sculpture. I have a million ideas on the subject/style for my next piece, but don't know which direction to point myself.

I was given a barrel of scrap metal. Found a Super tool 300 at the bottom.

Other than a thorough cleaning this thing is In great shape. I wonder who the hell threw it in the 'to throw away' pile. I owe them a beer.

How can I make vocals and "guitar input' both audible?

Hey friends. I do experimental noise music. I want to perform two functions at the same time through my only speaker. Here is my current setup. Boss ME-80>Guitar output>L output, R output to speaker. I want to plug my vocals into a pitch shifter and run that through the speaker. My Peavy speaker has two input ports. When I vocalise in my mike I have no idea if I can hear the vocals or not. Do I need a mixer? Do you have recommendations for a pitch shifter?

Going to Japan. What tools should I buy?

Hi friends, I am hitting up Osaka, Hamematsu and Tokyo. I was told you can get quality-low coat tools from Japanese manufacturers. Is there anything I should especially check out? I do metalworking, plumbing and general tasks.

Looking for advice on my metal sculpture.

Hi friends. Building an Ork/humanoid scrap statue. I want the face to have the most attention to detail. Thus far I have measured/traced my own body parts, built a wire frame using said measurements, and then tacked on scrap until I liked it. I would then move onto another section and repeat the process. With the head/face however I want to take my time and make sure this is done "right" I am tacking on pieces. But I want to come back fill in gaps, grind it down and make it look "real" I have no experience with a die grinder, I'm not sure if that is even the right tool for the job.

The skull is composed of vastly different material ranging from 3/16 to 22. Thick material (approx). I have a multi process welder and have been using stick for the thick stuff and Flux core for the thinner stuff. I'm not sure how to weld the seams on such disparate material without blowing out the thin stuff.

I may redo the eyes. They seem awfully cold/robotic. I may buy some ball bearings online. If you know a good source of large diameter BBs I would love to know. All the machinery I have pulled out of the dumpster/scrap yard has small size BBs.

Recommendations for shoes?

Hey friends. I was told to get walkable shoes for my two week trip coming up. I thought about getting sandals but I am concerned about toe stomping due to dense foot traffic and insects. I am an adult male with no unusual podal needs.

Do the TMNT ever act like actual ninjas?

Is there espionage, subterfuge or general ninja sneakiness? It seems like they just stand and fight face to face.

What size drill bit/tap should I use for 3/8" Allthread?

Hi friends. I am making a human size sculpture

I want to use a piece of 3/8" allthread to connect the top half to the bottom half. What drill size and tap should I use to drill into the material with green circles? Is there a better process that I should be using instead of Allthread? I don't have four identical bolts. My post must contain at least four hundred characters......................,................

Would you want to know constructive feedback when a customer had a Subpar experience?

I had the opportunity to chat with the chef before our reservations at a higher end restaurant. I enjoyed our conversation and he seemed like a passionate dude. Once the food rolled out, I proceeded to have an extremely mediocre meal that cost just short of $200 for two people. I remember thinking "the frozen boxed version of this tasted better."

I'm usually not the kind of person to complain unless it is a safety/sanitation issue. Would you want to know constructive feedback?

Recommendations for a domestic water pump?

I am flushing my tankless water heater. I don't know what brand/style would be best. My only preference is not plastic for the hose connection.
