Just ordered a Creator 5

I just pre-ordered the Creator 5 from the official store on AliExpress. Ali price $699.00 but with the $90 coupons = $699-$90=$609+$59.38(sales tax)=$668.38

OrcaSlicer not seeing my Flashforge AD5M

Just got my AD5M a week ago. Flash Studio and Flashprint 5 both see my AD5M printer and allow me to print.

But, after installing Orcaslicer 2.3.2 and adding it under Prepare, it doesn't show up under Device.

When using Flash Studio the IP address is 192.168.50.98 Adding that to OrcaSlicer doesn't help.

In my wireless router, the AD5M IP address is 192.168.50.139 And I can ping the AD5M successfully. But adding it to OrcaSlicer doesn't help.

I have my firewall set to Allow OrcaSlicer.

Any advice would be great.

I didn't do anything...

What the heck happened. I just got the AD5M a few days ago. The couple of FF demo items that I printed with the sample pla that was included look good.

I bought 4 rolls of Creality Ender PETG 3D Printer Filament 1.75mm 4KG (8.8lbs). Nothing looks really good.

Yes, I set the printer to use PETG. I even bought a dryer.

I decided to try to print a hanging tool storage box using the PETG.

I just went back into my room to check on it and here's what I saw.

Ad5m encloser

I bought the Flashforge enclosure kit for the AD5M. But can find where to download the parts from.

I go to the website listed in the installation guide, but the files for it aren't there.

Any help would be appreciated...

Just ordered

I just ordered the Flashforge 5m Adventurer 5M from Ali for $171.49.

I know nothing, nothing about 3D printing other than it prints 3D and uses some type of filament.

For my first project I want to print a good enclosure. The word here is good. Does the 5M print the see through panels?

I've searched and read, but it just keeps getting more confusing. They all seem to include different file extensions for the same thing.

Can someone type a list of exactly what I need? ie: .extension and type of filament.

As I learn, I'll be able to contribute, like I have with other hobbies.
