Found on the street and looking for its forever home

Can't locate my TI84 calculator to play with this. Any takers? I think it is super cool.

Found two of those.

edit: not sure if this is the correct sub. if not I apologize!

Place for old tech enthusiasts

Found Texas Instruments "View Screen" on the street. It is a device that connects to a hand held calculator and project it's screen for a class. I Can't locate my TI84 so can't play around with it, but thought that some collectors might have a field day with it.

Is these a community for obscure and retired technology? I'd love to give those to someone who'd find value in it. I also have a bunch of old technology I'm too sentimental to throw away (think palm pilot and Erricsson P900 cellphone) and would love to share

Thanks!!!

1900 Gold five dollars

Two of those, mounted as cufflinks but coin is intact. Is it worth grading, or pretty much melt value?

Thanks!

Fake party invite - site bortro.vu/policy.html

Got a very good spoof of a Paperless invite from someone I know. It came from their address and not Paperless so I was suspicious. The URL itself is very generic and doesn't seem to include and encoded data:

bortro dot vu, and the page is policy.html

I went to the URL from a secure browser and there's only a button saying "click to confirm" or "press and hold to verify"

I didn't see it asking for any details whatsoever.

It is obviously a scam coming from a hacked account. What is the end game?

Thanks!

Looks like high quality tool of some sort?

feels sturdy and heavy. I feel the threading to unscrew it is the wrong way, but I might be wrong.

Found on the street.

Possibly sick Linden, and a Fir tree

about 5-6 years ago, someone dumped a Christmas tree next to this Linden. Surprisingly it survived and is growing nicely.

This year I think the Linden looks sick. Do you think it is the Fur fault? or possibly the ivy?

Please lmk how to save the Linden, or is it too late.

Thank you!

Help! I broke a branch!

Very sweet mulberry by my house. I usually pick the mulberries very respectfully. However yesterday I got overexcited and pulled too strong on a branch and it broke.

I feel terrible and would like to help the tree. What can I do to repair?

Thank you!

Are these a set?

Hello!

I know nothing about china... found these, and while they have the same patterns, the creamer is much darker and seems to be made with significantly thinner china. also the marks at the bottom are different.

ChatGPT says these are from Bohemia, around 1900. Do you agree? Are these valuable?

Thank you!
