Stihl Hedge trimmer not opening fully

I have a Stihl HL 145 Kombi attachment onto my battery combo unit but it’s not fully opening for some reason. I know there’s a little metal knob that you can pull down using the black lever, I am pulling that down anyway, but as you can see in the video, it’s not even reaching that far when I’m trying to open it so it’s not that knob that’s causing this to not open. Maybe I can force it with a lot of pressure but I’ve used this for years and never had to force it so I don’t want to break it. Any idea of how to fix this?

What Type of Grass Is This?

I cut my lawn a couple weeks ago after it being very overgrown and neglected, I then scarified it and removed a lot of weeds and this is the grass I've been left with. I want to aerate, top dress and overseed it now, but this doesn't look like any normal type of grass that I've overseeded with before so I'm quite sure it will not match at all and look very strange growing together.

My question is: 1. What type of grass is this and where can I find seeds that will match in the UK and 2. Is this even a good type of grass to continue with because of never come across grass that looks like this. So maybe I will should take it all out and start over with all new seed?

This grass doesn't actually look green at the bottom, it’s like a brown colour with a hard texture to it.

The last 4 pictures are of where I cut the grass to show what it looks like when it's mowed down to a reasonable height that I normally cut grass to.

Can I cut these back?

I want to cut these tree quite a bit smaller because I want to make them all into small balls with a decent amount of space between them.

The problem is, to cut them back, I have to cut them to the part of the branch that is behind where all the leaves are so the tree will look bare.

As you can see in the video, there is no leaves on the tree once you go just a few inches back

Once I cut them back though, will these tree show leaves again, and if so, how long until leaves will reappear?

Strange Sound Coming From Pressure Washer

Does anyone know what’s wrong with my pressure washer. It’s a Kranzle K10/122 TS Q/R Pressure Washer

It supposed to go silent when I release the trigger, as you’ll hear in the video the first time I release it. But when I run it for long, as you’ll hear the second time, the machine makes a really loud sound.

The water is connected directly from the bath shower upstairs via a threaded adaptor because there’s no garden tap.

Broken Mavic Mini - is it repairable?

Hi I’ve got a DJI Mavic Mini. My friend recently flew it into a tree and this is the condition it’s in. She’s got another drone so she said I can just have this and see if I can get it fixed so I’m just wondering if these kind of things are repairable, and if so, where can I take it to be repaired. I’m based in the UK in London by the way. Thanks in advance for any help.

BROWN PATCHES After Scarification

LONDON UK

So I scarified this grass about a month ago, and now there are dark brown patches scattered in many different sections of the lawn. The build up under the grass was very thick so I done about 5 passes with the aerator and a little bit more probably would of even come up if I done a couple more passes

The fifth picture shows the brown patches where the red squares are, but there are many more sections of those patches in the grass. The pictures after that show close ups of the brown patches.

I never aerated, topdressed or overseeded it but I've decided I will do that this week

My question is, with those brown patches, should I fork them over or just scarify those sections? I just want to be sure the seeds will catch and come through in those sections but its a large area of grass with those patches in many different spots so I dont want to have to fork it over if I dont need to.

Thanks.

Part 2: Stihl Battery Mower Won’t Start

So I recently posted about my Stihl RMA 448VC not starting. I will post the link here for reference

https://www.reddit.com/r/UKGardening/s/d1AA8vaZZs

It’s still not working but just to give more context, I have now realised it makes this clicking sound as I pull the control lever. This is the lever that you pull on after pressing the side button to make the lawnmower start. Hopefully this helps diagnose what the problem is. Thanks!

Stihl Battery Mower Won’t Start

Anyone got any idea why this lawnmower won’t start. I’ve had it a long while and it’s had a lot of use to be fair, but this is the first time I’ve ran into this problem with any of my battery tools.

This is a Stihl RMA 448VC. I’ve tried using multiple batteries that definitely work in my other tools. I’ve used multiple of those little activation keys that definitely work in my other tools. I’ve checked to make sure nothing is clogging or blocking the blades. The cables all seem fine from my unprofessional eye. The little side button you press as part of the start up process feels normal when I press it. The self propel doesn’t even work anymore either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, if not I will have to take it to a local shop to be repaired. Thanks in advance

It’s not letting me post a video, but hopefully someone has run into this problem before and can help
