Was just kinda wingin the dimensions, but I think I got close. Added a hole for a charging cable, and a leather pad so it wouldn’t be noisy.
Whole thing was basically made with plywood and titebond, and I attached it to the wall with a recessed French cleat.
I way overshot on my plywood, so I’ll probably make a few more for around the house lol.
Are there any reliable guitar amp repair people in Kalamazoo? Looking for someone who could potentially get it repaired in the next 5 days.

Just curious… I never seem to get bites on knife swap.
This is just one of many examples I’ve encountered, but I just needed a thunderbolt cable to transfer a video project I am working on. So I thought I’d go to the local camera / video shop… they didn’t have it, and recommended trying Best Buy… After driving there and talking to THREE employees, someone was finally able to find one for 3x the price of Amazon lol.
The mildly infuriating part of this, is if I would’ve just bought it from Amazon from the start (skipped running to the stores), I could have gotten same day delivery on the thunderbolt cable.
In addition to just shitty pricing, most big box store employees have little to no knowledge on the actual products they sell, and use a phone app to find everything. This happens to me at Lowe’s constantly.
Like dawg, I can just pull out my own phone and find it if that’s the case… I just figured asking would save some time, but nope! I haaaate capitalism, but man… the bar is just so pathetically low for brick and mortar stores, it’s hard to ever choose them over Amazon.
My buddy just bought a house, and the bathroom had this terrible barn style door hanging on a track. A few weeks after he moved in, the track pulled out of the wall and the door came down lol…
Since this is his only bathroom, I told him I’d help put a proper door there.
Well, I learned very quickly why most of the doors in the house had been replaced with barn doors lol… All the door openings were extremely racked.
Anyway, this is my first time ever fully installing and trimming out a door. All of the casing was made by me (not pre-built) in order to cover the necessary gaps. It’s not PERFECT, but I’m pretty happy with the outcome.
Took me about 25 hours from tear out to final paint.
