Trying to keep my HR in the moderate zone is difficult

I'm 43 y.o, 6'4" and 235 lbs. Long story short I've been trying to switch up my workouts from HIIT (I also do HIIT style when weightlifting) and treadmill incline walks which target vigorous and peak HR zones to exercising where I keep it in the moderate zone. From research this will target more fat burn as high intensity takes from glycogen storage. I'm trying to target more abdominal fat but otherwise I'm just trying to maintain. Also, I've been trying to get my RHR down and sleep better. I think the high intensity has had an effect on those things, especially since I do them often.

But trying to keep my HR in the moderate zone is more difficult than doing high intensity workouts lol. Weight lifting is impossible to not spike up into the vigorous zone, treadmill I feel like I'm doing nothing with the incline at 8 and speed at 2, and I try to modify the HIIT exercises to slow it down and take longer breaks but 10 seconds in I'm already hitting the vigorous zone. I know walking is good but I'm in Texas and it's too damn hot for that. My HIIT workouts are bodyweight at home.

Any ideas on what to do? I just tried a HIIT workout at home and what usually takes 30 mins, took me an hour because I had to wait until my heart rate went down. I feel lazy trying to keep it in the moderate zone.

For context, I have a pixel watch and I have it set to vibrate when my zone changes and it sets your zones off my personal heart rate history, sleep, RHR etc. My moderate is 115-134.

TLOU 2 and season 2..also this game is looooong 😂

I'm trying to beat it so I can watch last of us 2 tv series. This game is never ending, probably the longest game I ever played. I did the first half on normal but I put it on easy after that for the next quarter, looks like I still got ways to go. Even on easy this is taking a long time to beat, if this was on normal I wouldn't beat it until next year 😂

And what In the love triangle is this story?! Not one but TWO love triangles is crazy lol. I'm enjoying the game though although I don't really care for Abby's story much but just trying to get through this. I'll beat it again another time on normal. These Scars are annoying to deal with and very difficult at times. (On normal) I don't see how people play on the most difficult level, I don't even want to think about how long that will take me.

I'll be honest I'm not the greatest at these games and half the time I'm getting lost and have to go to YouTube or ask Gemini what to do and where to go.

Part 1 I liked the story more but part 2 is more dynamic I think.

How does the last of us 2 video game go with the show? I know season 1 was pretty similar but I heard mixed reviews on season 2, not sure if that's because it doesn't match up with the game or not.

Why did it count my nap as my primary sleep?

Just woke up from a nap but noticed it counted as my primary sleep score, not my actual sleep from this morning. Any idea why?

(The one not highlighted is the nap one)

Best option for over the ear headphones for the gym

Long story short I've tried many earbuds and they're either uncomfortable, always falling out my ear or give me ear pain/infection. I finally found some good earbuds for me a few years ago in the pixel buds pro 2 but lately I've been having ear pain and now a recent ear infection. I really don't plan on using them much if at all anymore, I'm done with earbuds.

Before the pixel buds (I have the buds pro 1 as well but they're uncomfortable) I was using over the ear headphones but some cheap $30 ones on Amazon (Zihnic is the brand) that I never had issues with using at the gym even with sweating a lot.

I recently have been looking at YouTube reviews and saw Sony M6's and Bose qc ultra's were the best. Everyone said the Sony ones weren't comfortable so I tried the QC ultra and boy, oh boy these things are comfortable! Unfortunately I did see they don't have an IP rating, so since I paid $400 for these I'm just going to use these for travel and at home.

I still want something comfortable to wear at the gym, even if they aren't water resistant I'm open to use some that are about 1/2 the price to mess up and hopefully they at least last me a year lol. I see the QC 45 are $200 at costco, nothing headphones 1 for $ 170 which have IP52 rating and I see some Sony WHCH720N ( look more comfortable than the M6 but not sure) for $120 at target. Any of these options good? I also want to add I will get silicone covers that were recommended from a third party for the QC 45 headphones if I go that route.

FYI, I do weightlifting and slow/moderate inclines on the treadmill so I'm not worried about the 🎧 not staying on, can't be any worse than constantly adjusting earbuds.

Edit: I didn't know the QC ultra had sweat covers as well so I can go that route I guess and not have to buy any others.

This game is so fun.

I will probably get downvoted for liking the game lol but this game is so much fun. The defense is good and I'm having good battles. Sometimes the CPU defense is too good and I start screaming at the TV but in the end I'm having competitive games.

I probably had the best game I ever played last night. I played with Alabama vs Oklahoma, I was up 14-10 with just over a min left and Oklahoma had the ball on their own 35, 4th and 1...I knew they were going to run so I played to stop the run up the middle, they ran outside and took it to the house. Then I was trying too hard to try to score fast and threw a pick 6 and sealed my fate. I couldn't even sleep last night I was still so pissed i lost that game lol. That damn Oklahoma QB is frustrating to try and stop. Dude just takes off as soon as it's hiked sometimes 😂. This was on AA with 10 min quarters, so you know it was a defensive game 😆

Small things I'm noticing and liking: (some of this may have been in the previous game but usually I mostly play Madden so my fault if these things aren't really new)

- rivalry games aren't just heated between teams before the game, they actually are jawing and in each other's face during the game. (I believe I saw it even in non rivalry games as well.) I was surprised to see it keep going.

- modular camera is a great new refreshing way to add to the gameplay/presentation. Being able to see different angles at certain points of the game and able to customize it has been great. SHOT OUT TO THE PERSON WHO POSTED THAT CLIP ON HERE AS I HAD NO IDEA ABOUT THAT FEATURE. THANKS!

- I made a play near the sideline where my coach was and both got fired up and he patted me on the head. This wasn't a cut scene, just an interaction right as the play ended.

- DEFENSE, DEFENSE! This is the star of the show, most my games so far have been battles with me and the CPU usually winning 2 quarters each in every game. Even if I have fast WRs I can't just throw go routes or drags anymore so it makes it challenging and of course with the hand Fighting it can slow down your WR or the CB can gain position for a pick. Y'all read the deep dive so I probably don't need to say more but I love it... frustrates me at times but I still love it. I love using the aggressive, conservative, play underneath, middle etc adjustments we have. Plaster has been great as well on those roll outs.

- run game is rewarding, I haven't had many big runs but the feel of the running game just feels a lot better. CPU seems to run well against me as well, sometimes too good 😂

- fans and the crowd seem live and hype. If a song comes on in the stadium between plays, when the song goes off just before another play is run they'll continue singing and finishing lyrics to the song.

- new equipment looks beautiful

Only negative, minor, early observations are dropped passes seem a bit high ( I don't play with the catch meter) and O-Line seem to miss assignments. I notice the D line comes in quick a lot of times and I look at the replay and the tackle didn't even try to block lol. It happens in real life so it's not a huge concern so far.

Overall loving the game. I usually don't play NCAA much once Madden comes out because I'm more of an NFL fan as I know all the players in the NFL, where is here I don't know as many but this year I'll definitely be playing this more than I have in the past. I see people in the YouTube comments looking at gameplay and saying "it's the same game", you can tell they haven't actually played it, this is definitely a different game...EA cooked!

Edit: forgot to add CPU seems smarter. If I'm killing them initially over the top or underneath they will adjust and take it away. In other games I would be able to keep doing it but this game they will try to adjust to stop it.

Battery drain inconsistency fix ?

I've been having battery drain inconsistency issues for the past few months. I even got a new watch since the watch was still up under warranty about a month ago but it's still having inconsistencies. I have the pixel watch 4 LTE. I just downloaded an app that shows information about the watch battery but it doesn't give any information on what specific apps are causing it. But I attached the screenshots showing the battery drain and what Gemini said is happening which shows they agree, saying it's having severe significant battery drain inconsistencies as well. Is there anything else to do besides a complete reset from scratch?

Mostly I'll get a day of battery life maybe less. But there are a few days here and there that I will get 2 days or more so it varies drastically. It will show on my watch that my phone was left behind even though it's on me (only happened a few times), but I don't know how to fix that Bluetooth issue if that is what indeed is causing it or if it's a combination of things.

Btw, I'm aware using LTE causes the battery to drain fast but what I'm describing in this post is general, sitting at home and doing nothing battery drain using only Bluetooth/Wi-Fi.

This is the most bugs I've seen

My goodness, the amount of bugs on this thing is wild 😆 the picture isn't even doing it justice, looks worse in real life.

I was going to wash it sometime this week but might do it today. I hand wash so I've been lazy and procrastinating.

What Regen do you use?

What region level is everybody using? I just discovered how to use Auto regen levels so I've been using auto regen level 1 lately and liking it. I was using I-pedal. Although I like coming to a complete stop without breaking or holding down the left paddle, but I don't like the feeling of the resistance, feeling like I'm driving in eco mode or uphill.

Who asked for this flavor?

I went to the dollar store and got this purple box of Mike and Ike's but didn't notice it was an assorted flavor until I got home.

I love churros but this flavor is terrible in candy form. Who's bright idea was this and who asked for a churro candy? 😆

Face scans look amazing

I'm not sure why but face scans look great this year. Chase brown looks well done and details with the ear ring was nice.

Ev9 and EV prices are increasing.

Just looked and the cheapest ev9 used is 46k with 13k miles. I got mine for 40k with 15k miles in February this year. They had many available in that 37-40k range earlier this year (around that milage) but not anymore. I think with the gas/oil prices increasing along with the war, prices will probably go up more soon. Looks like I got mine just in time before the increase. (These are GT- line)
