Recipe for waffles I can make my kids and freeze for later?

I want to make a big batch so i can pull from the freezer on school mornings.

Bonus if the recipe uses some or all whole wheat flour and/or something with a little extra protein (Greek yogurt, peanut butter powder)-it’s for kids, so nothing crazy. But still tastes good 😆

Thanks!

Best products for fine, thick hair?

My hair is 2a2b and gets so frizzy! My best results so far have been using a super hard hold gel (LA Looks extreme hold), raking, diffusing. I got less frizz but still not very much definition. By the end of the day, the waves had almost completely fallen out. Day 2 very little frizz but almost no wave left. I sprayed it with water mixed with a tiny bit of gel and that helped like 15%.

Im not using leave in conditioner or a mousse because i dont want to weigh down my super fine hair. Took forever to figure out how to get enough gel in my hair because it’s so thick! But I’m wondering if i need to try something else to get more definition or more longevity. Also, my hair is low porosity.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Detangler for kid who hates spray?

My six year old hates spray detanglers, but she needs something! Her hair is probably 1c, not fine or coarse, and decently thick. Are there any cream detanglers I can use? She also hates scents, so fragrance free or very light fragrance is important. I prefer phthalate and paraben free as well :) thanks!!

Ps spraying in my hand and then using still probably won’t work unless it’s thick and won’t go in the air.

Add a temporary hem on a kid’s cotton dress?

My mom got my 5yo some simple cotton dresses for school, but they’re a bit too long. I’m not a sewer but i can do something simple by hand. Anything that would be easy to do, will hold, and is a good choice to allow me to let them hem down again once she’s taller?

Anything to reduce frizz that appears as the day goes on?

My hair is 2a-2b, fine, thick, low porosity, and I’m still working out the right routine. I’ve gotten it so it’s not super frizzy when I’m done with my wash and dry routine, but as the day goes on, it’s getting more and more frizzy. What can i do to reduce the frizz once it starts? Other than a Time Machine to change my routine this morning lol

Diffused hair dry and still frizzy

Help! Hair is 2a-2b. Fine, thick, low porosity. I can get good waves while wet scrunching with gel (curl smith in shower) and right after diffusing, but when i scrunch the crunch out with a tiny bit of Verb Ghost oil, some of the waves immediately look flat. Today i diffused it like 95% dry (as i was scrunching it was a tiny bit damp in spots), and it had a hard cast. But a few hours after i scrunched it out, it felt super dry and was frizzy. How do I fix this?

Help with wavy hair hold?

This is how much wave I can get when it’s wet from plopping. But once it dries, so much is gone!

Routine i tried today (pics 1 and 2).

Kristen ess signature shampoo and conditioner

plopped in a tshirt

Umberto gianinni curl jelly

diffused it upside down.

Hair texture: very fine, pretty thick, low porosity. Today it felt very dry throughout the day. Almost all the wave is gone by mid day.

I’ve recently tried leave in conditioner (Kristen ess) with mousse (shea moisture) and same gel and diffusing-also didn’t work. (Pics 3 and 4)

Also Tried Kristen ess air dry cream-had no hold at all!

I don’t know if i need more hold, different routine, or if its normal to just be so much more wavy wet than dry, and im chasing the impossible. My hair went wavy after kid #2, and I just realized it, so this is all new to me-i had stick straight hair before!

One Yoto will connect but not the other?

Both yoto minis have been connected to our home WiFi for a year or more. They both became disconnected for some reason. I updated the app and repaired them. One reconnected immediately but the other (the older one) won’t connect. WiFi hasn’t changed, equipment hasn’t changed. Reset the Yoto, reset modem and router, didn’t work. Tried my phone hotspot, that worked but it said it was connected to the home WiFi? I keep getting a DNON code. I’m at work and the Yoto won’t connect here because of router security, so I can’t chat help desk. Anyone have any ideas of what to try once I’m home?

Help with routine for suddenly wavy hair

After pregnancy, my hair is now wavy! So i have no idea what I’m doing after 30 years of stick straight hair!

Routine: Today I tried shampoo (Kristen ess signature), conditioner (Kristen ess signature), plopping to dry a bit in a t shirt, a little leave-in (Kristen ess), a little 10-in-1 spray (Pantene restore), mousse (Shea moisture frizz free curl mousse), and gel (Umberto Giannini Curl Jelly), and then mostly hover diffused with a little pixie diffusing at the end. Was about 80% dry and dried the rest of the way before scrunching out the cast.

I could tell as i was doing my hair that as my hair dried, the waves were already sagging. Is this normal? Did i do something wrong? The other day, i used less gel and no leave in or spray, and there wasn’t enough hold and it was frizzy.

My hair is fine but medium-thick and low porosity. Help me! I added a photo while wet with no product to see how much wavier it is when wet.

Yoto not showing as on in the app but it’s playing ??

Both of our minis are showing as offline in the app, but they’re playing and show as connected to the WiFi (on our default home network; not traveling). Did a hard restart on one mini but that didn’t change anything. It’s showing as offline when the app is accessed from two different phones.

Any idea??

First day with my newly discovered swavy hair! Routine help please!

Didn’t realize my straight hair that’s been crazy frizzy since having babies is actually just wavy now! Hormones are crazy 🤣

This is just after shampoo, conditioner, and mousse. I ordered a gel to try. Any other recommendations? My hair wet was wavier, so would like to try to capture more of that when dry! Thanks for any tips :)

Apple Watch use help!

So on the iPhone, when you open it from the lock screen, it goes back to your last open app.

Is there a way to do this on the Apple Watch (SE 3)? I like when it times out that it goes back to the watch face, but i sometimes then want to go back to what i was doing before it timed out. I only seem to be able to go to the Smart Stack or the app list from the watch face. Am i missing something?

Thanks!

Help me find similar dresses in my price range?

Love these style dresses, but they either are out of my budget ($100) or are out of my size. The wedding dress code is cocktail, but it’s an upscale crowd and it’s at a museum, so definitely looking for the nicer side of cocktail.

Want:

Knee length roughly

Good for my shape (large hips, small waist, very small shoulders make the top look small despite having a larger than it looks bust size). Im roughly a size 8. Usually my top is a size smaller than by bottom.

Thicker fabric rather than thin

A little structure versus clingy

Bonus if there are free returns either online or in store!

Thanks!

Digital Watch for 5yo girl, real brand?

I don’t want a sketchy Amazon brand. Timex makes one but it only comes in “boy” colors according to my daughter. Any recommendations? US based.

Healthier breakfast baked cookbook recommendations?

Breakfast bake cookbook needed: muffins, easy to freeze, portable options, healthy but not gross

I would love some suggestions of books to look through that would have the following:

Muffins or bars or waffles other easy to eat on the run portions

Freezable would be awesome

Healthier for my kids (lower sugar, higher protein/fiber) so I don’t feel bad if they eat them a lot, but not like grownup muesli-carrot-bran options that they won’t eat lol

This is dripping water; can I fix myself?

The toilet is flushing fine, and it does stop dripping for a while post flush, but then it starts dripping again. The seal seems sealed, the float valve seems at the top of where it’s going. If I lift the seal at the bottom a tiny bit and then put it back down, it stops dripping, but then starts dripping again a minute later. Any idea? This is an old Kohler toilet and the brand on the float says fluid master. Thank you!

Can you recommend a low gore bra in 32G?

I found the Skarlett Blue Amour full coverage minimizer bra in 32G, and I love everything about this bra-except the gore is too high. The cups fit the shape of my breasts perfectly. It doesn’t feel like a minimizer at all, so the name is a misnomer. The fabric is very thin and so it conforms to my very soft breasts perfect. My breasts come very close together right where the gore on this bra hits, so the very top of the gore digs into the tissue and is uncomfortable. Any suggestions for something similar?

Help with finding the right bra brand for me!

Measured size 30H US/ 30FF UK. Measurements below

Most of the 30 bands feel way too small (doing the upside down backwards and while trying to even put on regularly). But some of the cups feels too big, some too small, some the wrong shape. And most of these are the same brand (Freya). I need some troubleshooting of what size/brand to try.

So far I’ve tried (band upside down and backwards first, then tried on properly, scoop and swoop, all the stuff):

Adore me London unlined 30H: band way too small, cups felt good

Panache Ana 30FF: band way too small, cups good

Freya love crush underwire plunge 30FF: band feels pretty good actually, cups are good except for the top triangle-it feels a little too loose here and the cup goes too far/high into my armpit.

Freya signature padded plunge 30FF: band too tight, cups too small. Felt like there was a gap at the bottom of the cup where my breast wasn’t fitting and there was a little quad boob.

Freya Loveland underwire molded spacer bra: band a little tight, cups are comically too large. Gaps in top and bottom and sides. Also, straps are too wide and cut into my armpit (probably because they’re too big).

Parfait Adriana 30FF wireless: band too tight, unclear if my breasts were being a little too smushed in the cup or if the band was just too small.

I did order the Panache Ana and the Adore me in a 32F, but not sure what to do with Freya. Thanks!

Measurements:

Loose Underbust: 30.5

Snug Underbust: 30

Tight Underbust: 29

Standing Bust: 36.5

Leaning Bust: 39

Lying Bust: 36.5

My hair is super straight, but it frizzes in rain/humidity. Why/what to do?

My hair is straight. It’s never been wavy or curly, no matter the cut or products or combs I use. It is very oily at the roots. However, when it’s humid or it rains, it gets CRAZY frizzy.

1-why is my hair getting so frizzy when it’s straight/not wavy or curly?

2-is there anything I can do to prevent it from frizzing like that??? I live somewhere that’s not dry, so this happens a lot.

Thanks!
