Best Toyota Dealership for routine maintenance/service?

I am in need of my first oil change/5,000 mile service for my new Toyota. What are the best, most reputable dealerships to get the service?

The answer is NOT NORTHWAY Toyota. Place is the worst… any other options?

Bridgton Academy

My son is considering a postgraduate year there. He is currently a very good student with AP credits already. I’m interested in knowing:

- how rigorous the curriculum is at Bridgton?
- how much development occurs at the sports program, specifically baseball?
- what’s the culture of the school like?
-what’s the reputation of the school in local circles?
- what’s type of colleges do the students matriculate to post graduation ?

I’ve heard that the school is a little dumpy, the students aren’t the brightest, the curriculum is a little weak, and that the culture isn’t great, but I have no firsthand knowledge myself

In fact, I heard that information from someone who goes to another boarding school in Maine so not sure if it’s real or just imagined

Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated!!

Weed Gummies and vestibular migraines

I have vestibular migraines since about a year ago and have been able to keep them under control mostly through proper sleep, hygiene, giving up alcohol and a heavy mix of supplements.

I am going on vacation to the beach next week and would like to “let loose“ a little bit… I’m not interested in drinking alcohol. And a beer is fine by me, but I’m considering taking some low-dose marijuana Gummies to chill.

Anyone with vestibular migraines have a reaction to these? I know it really depends on the brand and individual symptoms, but I was hoping to hear some anecdotal stories about how people fared when taking some Gummies.

For reference I’m looking at doing low-dose maybe 2 to 5 mg and not all that often. Just maybe a couple days while we’re on the beach

Thank you!

Eastern Connecticut State

I am interested in ECSU but have heard some conflicting opinions on what life is like on campus.

Do people like it? I like the school, but Willimantic seems pretty depressed with lots of drunks or addicts walking around…

Do people go out in the downtown to hang out? Where do students hang out? Where do students live off campus? I like the campus, but everything outside of campus quite frankly scares me and seems depressed.

I am out of state, so curious what people think of the area and what life would be like?

Albany Stag Lax Invites

Anyone get invites from the Albany Stags lacrosse tryout from earlier this week? Tryouts were Tuesday and Wednesday, and I received an email saying invites would go out by the end of the week or early next week.

Anyone get an invite yet? I haven’t heard anything yet, so I assume I didn’t make it, but looking to confirm my suspicions…

Assuming I did get cut, are there any other options out there? I’m bummed tbh

Anyone else in Albany having slow spectrum internet?

For the last day or so, internet has been extremely slow. No different activities than usual at home. I suspect it’s a Spectrum issue, but wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same?

Where do 40-50 year old singles go to meet people?

Not interested in online dating. I do all the “meet people at hobbies/interests” events. But where do people go if they want to meet a random single with fate’s help? Where do hopeless romantics these days?

Not a big drinker. I like coffee,

Help! 2023 Passport Elite vs 2023 Pilot Elite…. Which one should I buy?

Trying to decide between the 2023 passport elite and the 2023 pilot elite. I don’t need a third row but would probably keep the third row down and just have extra space in the pilot. I know the pilot is a redesign year so curious what others experience have been. I do like that the Pilot has a newer engine and a 10 speed transmission versus the passport. I also like that the pilot scores better inside impact.

Both cars have about 40,000 miles and are certified.
I am mostly looking for a car that will be reliable and safe.

Anyone care to weigh in? Please help me decide or let me know what factors you used so you could decide.

I don’t like any recent model cars… What to buy?

I’m coming from a 2010 Toyota matrix five speed manual. Car has been great but I need something larger that cannot accommodate all of my kids sports equipment, especially my son‘s goalie bag for hockey.

The problem is I don’t like any cars or SUVs that are out there. It seems like ever since Covid, quality has gone down, especially with Toyota and Lexus. I’m not interested in a turbo engine, a CVT transmission and would prefer a V6, although I would consider a well-made hybrid.

What are people buying now that’s reliable that will last 10 to 12 years?

No new cars catch my fancy but the used car market seems overpriced it well. What’s the guy to do? Any recommendations? My budget is $50k.

My car was totaled over the weekend in my driveway by a drunk driver. There are glass shards from the window all over the yard so I’m wondering what’s the best way to try and remove the glass? It’s everywhere….

I can provide photos if needed

I’m interested in people’s thoughts on the 2023 GX 460. Do people like the car? Has it been reliable? There is one local with 25,000 miles listed at 55K. Are they expensive to repair any issues or problems that I should know about? How is the drivability?

Any technology issues please share any of your thoughts
