What is your interpretation as to why Man'U was "stronger" than Kan Mei ?

We've seen Moubu struggle very blatantly against Man'U. Although it's fair to ay Moubu didn't go all out, Man'U still felt stronger than Kan Mei, despite himself saying that he's weaker than Kan Mei.

What do you think about that interaction ?

A sub to ask close-ended questions

Basically the equivalent of r/AskReddit but where you can ask questions searching for a specific answer.

Now, I know Tou's beard isn't that impressive, but imo the D'Artagnan muskeeter stache compensates for it.

EDIT : As I expected, the comments are split between Duke and Kanki. It's really not easy to decide between these two.

If I got with my guts, I'd give it to Kanki. I can't think of a way to beat Kanki reliably. He is absolutely impossible to read. He only lost against Riboku because both Ousen and Qin's reinforcements chickened out. He was supposed to have about 300 000 soldiers more, and yet he almost won through sheer cowardice and terrorism. It's so hard to fight someone like that, with no ethics, no morals, just victory in mind.

That said, I don't think Kanki is an instinctive general. He is an unorthodox but brilliant strategist, he's strong, but he mostly uses his brains to win his battles. That's why I think it's not that straight-forward. Duke Hyou is extremely receptive to traps, in the end he only lost because Ouken is physically stronger.

In pure strength, if they get face to face, there is no question that Duke would eat him alive. So of course Kanki's strategy wouldn't be to get up close to Duke Hyou. If he were to beat him, he'd need the help of Raido and Zenou, at least.

Do you think Kanki would be able to devise a strategy that entraps Duke Hyou ? Do you think that Duke Hyou would be able to light his fire and brute force his way to victory ?

This is the town I live in currently, Carcassonne.

The mayor wants to put parking spaces on the ONLY pedestrian place in the city, which is the central plaza (place Carnot). This plaza is the only place in the city which still sees some activity, and he wants to put parking spaces on it.

I'm discussing the issue with geezers who think that making the city-center more pedestrian friendly is a bad idea because, I quote, "nobody's left there anyway". Well, I wonder why that is.

By the way, these aren't pictures from the suburbs. This is the city center and the streets right around it.

Edit : It's in France

This is the most common braindead response I get when I advocate that car-centrism is destroying the life of my city.

I usually answer "Then don't be surprised no one lives here".

I'm curious as to what you would respond to this... Do these people just want their towns to be uninviting ghost towns ? Perhaps you have a phrase to debunk this kind of logic while keeping the discussion open.

Hi, can you recommend an email domain ? I was using Microsoft for 20 years, but it's a been nothing but a cesspool of bugs in the past years, I've finally decided to change. I don't trust Google much more.

Edit : free options, please. Preferably something that doesn't require a phone.

Hi, I am looking for studies showing the positive effects of people-friendly urbanism, whether it be about a town's economy, the morale/health/safety of its people, or really anything that has been put into data regarding the results of moving away from car-centrism.

It can be about bike lanes, public transit, reshaping streets/roads, rethinking public spaces.
