Defending Your Life (1991)

One of the most overlooked yet beloved philosophical rom coms of the 90s. Albert Brooks and Meryl Streep had amazing chemistry on screen. It had a beautiful message. The Good Place definitely reminded me of this film

Smart Guy (1997 to 1999)

One of the best yet underrated family sitcoms of the 90s. Marcus and Mo were one of the best funniest comedy duos. They helped made the show. It was relatable, progressive, tackle tough subjects without being cheesy or preachy. Floyd Henderson is often overlooked as the one of the best sitcom dads. He was strict and hard but he was also loving and caring towards his children and even took Mo under his wing at times too. Smart Guy is definitely underrated when it comes to great black sitcoms

Aaliyah and Pink at Teen Choice Awards (2000)

A year before she passed tragically. These two collaborating together on a R&B record would have been epic!

This is most well acted moment on the show, period

Brad Garrett killed it in this episode. Anybody that’s gone through dating problems can relate to this scene about struggling to find their other half
