So apparently the beta is gonna have a campaign mission to try out. Honestly first time I'm interested in trying a COD beta. But do you think I will need to subscribe to game pass ultimate (or whatever you need to play online) to try the just campaign mission? Or do you think that part can be played offline?

I just recently thought of something while playing the airport flashback section of MW3. If Yuri was part of the airport attack but then betrayed and left for dead before being rescued by paramedics, why didn't Yuri say anything about it? He could have revealed Makarov's whole plan either to Russia or America. He could have revealed that Makarov was the one behind it and they were just masquerading as americans for a false flag attack. Well except for Allen I guess but still?

He could have revealed the whole thing as just Makarov's operation and not America's. Wouldn't that have prevented the whole war?

So why did stay silent?

I'm trying to play Halo 2 Anniversary on Xbox but the game repeatedly keeps signing my profile out and in and booting me back to the start up screen. The problem has occured suddenly out of nowhere.
How do I fix it? Any ideas?

I usually not very good at identifying plot holes. But there is one I can think of in the original GOW trilogy. Now this plot was kinda created by the story in God Of War: Ghost Of Sparta which was developed years after GOW 3.

In Ghost Of Sparta, Kratos finds his mother. And when he asks who his father is, she reveals it's Zeus. She was cursed never to reveal that so when she did, she was transformed into a monster Kratos was forced to kill.

But this kinda creates a plot hole in GOW 2 imo since Ghost Of Sparta takes place before that game. So simply put if Kratos already knew Zeus was his father from his mother, why is he acting so shocked when Athena reveals it at the end of GOW 2?

Do you think they could potentially plug this hole in the remake?

I'm a bit of a nerd when it comes to military weapons, gear and uniforms in games. And I'm curious. What are the Delta operators wearing in the mission "Hunting Season"?
When I heard we were gonna see some early 90s delta force operators, I kinda expected them to look similair to the soldiers in the movie Black Hawk Down for example.

But they have some kind of weird jacket and beanie hats. Given that while I am autistically interested in this stuff in games and how close the resemble real life, I'm not very knowledgeable in this kind of stuff and so I'm wondering if anyone knows what kind of gear/kit they're using in BO6. And how close (if any close at all) do they come to real life?

I'm wondering. Does anyone else feel like the weapons and attachments in the Black Ops Cold War campaign tends to ruin the whole 1980s setting. Many of the weapons are based on real life weapons that didn't exist until the 1990s or even later. And all the attachments like laser pointer sights (Or whatever those are called) and sights etc make the weapons look like they belong in something like Modern Warfare instead.

The prime example I can think of is the M4 you get in the second mission Trabzon. It just looks way too modern with the laser and advanced looking sight.

I just feel like these advanced modern weapons and attachments kinda takes away from the sort of 1980s feel they were going for.

Just curious. Anybody feel the same?

I've been wondering. I we go entirely by lore, do you think a person would be allowed to join the Freestar Rangers if they are a UC Vanguard and vice versa?
Would would the reaction of the Vanguard and the UC be if a Vanguard went and joined the Freestar Rangers and How would the Freestar Rangers react if one of their rangers became a UC Vanguard?
Would they be pissed? Would the person be fired?

As we know, the UC and the Collective aren't exactly on good terms. So would an action like that be seen as borderline treason (for lack of a better word) ?

I'm currently re-downloading. But it was really hard to find the seemingly full game. Could only find some "multigenerational pack" and "content pack 1" in the xbox store. Now I think I'm downloading the full game (134 Gb. It's gotta be the full thing, right?). But downloading it now, I can see that I have less storage space than I did before. It showed 1,5Tb free space before downloading and it shows 1,3Tb now while downloading.

I previously only had the campaign installed. And now, while re-downloading, it's downloading that and multiplayer as well as "Base game" which I assume is needed.

So is that the reason I have significantly less storage now than I did before when the game was part of COD HQ? Because it's also downloading the multiplayer?

One of the main thing I'm hoping we'll see in E-Day are these big battles we saw in Gears Of War 2. Particularly similair to the climactic battle in Jacinto. That truly felt like you were in a big war. With dozens of king ravens and reavers flying around, anti-air and artillery fire and large groups of enemies.

The E-Day showcase left me a little concerned we're not gonna see stuff like that in the game. It's a tiny negative though and I still think the game looks amazing.

But it still seems like they're going with the smaller scope like Gears 1, 3 and 4 for example. With smal scale skirmishes instead of a big battle. It's Emergence Day. The day the locust showed up in full force and the cog was probably considerably stronger than they are during the events of the first game 14 years later. I just feel like there should be some really big battles in E-Day.

Here's hoping they simply haven't shown everything yet. I guess we'll see. Can't wait either way

The more I hear about DMZ the more "worried" I kinda become. Nothing against the mode itself of course. It looks cool. But personally, I'm primarily a campaign player. That's pretty much the only thing I really care about. Also I don't have friends to play games with and currently can't afford online mode (I'm a console player).
So basically I'm kinda locked out of DMZ. But the mode itself doesn't interest me as much.

But hearing how important the mode is to the campaign story, how it's a direct continuation and how it's important to the plot has me a bit worried. It feels like the single-player campaign is just there to serve as an intro to DMZ. And it's probably gonna end on a massive cliffhanger that sets up the story in DMZ which will MAYBE conclude the story through one-time-only season cutscenes.

So does that make the single-player campaign redundant or unnecessary? Is it just gonna pull a Battlefield 6 and basically say "good job. Now the real story begins" at the end forcing you to play DMZ online and watch season cutscenes to find out the rest of the story?

Everytime there's talk about the modern day story in Black Flag Resynced, they explain that the modern day story is there but it's gonna be some "rifts" that tell an alternate "what if" story about Edward.

I'm confused because what does any of that have to do with whatever's going on in the modern day narrative? Using the term "modern day" to describe secret "what if" scenarios focused on Edward just seem wrong and confusing to me.

Anybody feel the same?

Did anyone ever catch on to a reason why we're reliving the memories of Yasuke and Naoe in the Animus? Obviously the modern day storyline in Shadows is very lackluster but we do still seem to control some guy in the rifts where The Guide talks to us. So we are still in an animus reliving the genetic memories of those two characters in that time period.

But why are we doing that exactly? What's so important about that period and those characters? What exactly are we doing in the animus? What are we trying to find or achieve?

Like I said, the modern day "story" is pretty lackluster and confusing. But did I miss something? Like a reason for why it's happening?
Did anyone pick up on something I may have missed?

While playing AW2 again, I kinda had a thought. In the chapter where Saga goes to the Valhalla Nursing Home to talk with Tor and encounters Cynthia Weaver, there is a part where you enter Cynthia's room to find the "Anger's Remorse" record.
In her room you can look at a photo of Thomas Zane and Barbara Jagger. Saga only comments on how Cynthia must have hated the woman in the photo since her face is scratched out.

How come she's not noticing how Thomas Zane or the man in the photo looks suspiciously like Wake? An oversight? Or does she simply not recognize him without the beard?

I'm playing through Claws Of Awaji for the first time and I've noticed that the equipped headgear disappears during cutscenes despite the option to show it being turned on.
Is it a bug or does that option just not apply to the expansion for some reason?

Anyone else wondering why gunfire from your squadmates as well as distant ambient weapon sounds are so quiet in MWII? You can hear enemy bullets hit near you but barely hear the squadmates right next to you fire their weapons.

MW 2019 was in my opinion the first cod in a long time where the gunfire actually sounded loud. It made battles feel big and alive sort of. But in MWII the squadmates' weapons are really "low volume" sounding again. It's all just a little bit too quiet imo

I'm having trouble updating my mods. No matter how many times I update them, after restarting the game, the mods always show a "Update Available" message in the load order and the mod has gone back a version or two. For example a mod has gone from 1.1.7 back to 1.1.6 after restarting the game. At least according the load order menu and "Updates" menu in Creations.

I've tried deleting all mods and re-downloading them again. No luck. I've also tried clearing the reserved space before re-downloading but that doesn't work either.

The only thing that seems too "keep" the mods updates is:
-Update mods
-Delete all mods
-Load game without the mods (Which causes corrupt/broken save)
-Save again without the mods
-Re-download mods

This is the only solution i have to updating mods. It sucks because I have som weapon and hab mods that disappear when loading in without those mods. So I'll have to look for them again.

Is this really the only way to keep mods up to date? Is anyone else having this issue as well?
