Hi guys! I'm opting for art in my a levels and I need some subject advice. I do know I want to keep art and design, and maybe English language, but should I choose sociology with this or psychology? I do like psychology, but I want to keep all doors open in art fields after my a levels. Please gimme advice and suggest strong and good combinations! (Ps- I'm going on a scholarship which I do need to maintain for 2 years, so tell me easier subjects too!)

OUR FRIENDSHIP

Okay so I'm F18, I met my best friend when I was 15 ig. She is a year younger than me. I will call her A. We live in the same neighborhood and that's how we became friends. Last three years were perfect, we spent a lot of time together, and she was the reason I went out in the first place. I usually never give anyone the title of "my best friend" but I thought she deserved it. We were inseparable, we shared EVERYTHING,I would always be by her side in everything, I never once doubted her and gave her great advice. Something you should know about our friendship is that I have always been the "mature one"/ I always told her what to do. She would even ask me for basic advice and I gave her the advice with pure heart. I always put her first, even before me.

WHAT HAPPENED:

FIRST INSTANCE:

Okay she met this guy online and she told me about him. I told her clearly I don't trust him and neither should she. Then this guy said he wanted to meet up, I told her she can meet in our society's park( which was the safest option, because houses are right infront of it, and guards are there) I asked her thrice if I could come, because of her safety, and that I'll sit around like a stranger. But she ignored me 1-2 times so I thought I was butting in too much and I stopped asking. Later that day, I asked her how it went. And she said okay, and I could tell over texts that it wasn't okay. Just a gut feeling. So in the cold winter night I went on with a dupatta and nothing else. She was crying, I hugged her, asked her what happened, she opened up a bit but didn't tell me everything and lied that that's all that happened. I asked her again at home(online) and she told me everything, which was:

1. the guy didn't look like his pics

2. kept insisting he wants her to go see his grandpa, which was apparently the "only" family he had left. (Complete lie)

And my friend just.. left? With him, away from her house, without her family knowing as she said she was meeting "me" and I covered for her. He later went on to sexually assault her. Now I just dont understand how could she be so dumb? But I supported her through all this, never once blamed her, because it was never her fault and still isn't. And I never ever doubted her. All this happened months ago.

SECOND INSTANCE:

Okay so this is going around right now. She made a new friend, I'll call her M. They have been friends for a couple months, and I noticed A started giving her more priority so I stopped giving A priority. I never stopped her from talking with M or anything for that matter. Here's what A did to me:

1. I asked her two separate days if she wanted to go out, because the weather was nice and usually it is super hot nowadays. She saw the text at 11pm once, and the next day she said "something is going on and I need to see M" and I was fine with both things, except I asked her 3-4 different times if everything was okay(because I get worried about her) and she left me on read and left. I later went out to see her laughing out loud with M. As if they we never in crap shit.

2. she left for Umrah (for 16 days) without meeting me, because I didn't ask her first. I realized I had always asked her first to meet in 4 years, and she never once asked. So I stopped, and we didn't meet.

Anyways so M has been going through boy drama in her school, and my friend has been dragged in it. I told her today to help her friend, but not be in her mess.

WHERE I'M CONFUSED/NEED ADVICE:

So is my friend actually my real friend? Or is she lying to be about things? Because how can a 17 year old be dumb enough to get into a strangers car? (That's the only part I doubt, whatever happened to her was wrong, and I whole heatedly believe it) Is she really that innocent and dumb? And why does boys just keep approaching her? It's very weird, because she's changed around 5-6 guys within a year/in a couple months. I told her they're crap. Are the boys like that or is she initiating smth? Cus she always says she said no. And sometimes she doesn't and that's alr cus I'm there to catch her when she falls (if I can). (And please- I am NOT a jealous friend. I care about her safety)

I really can not tell if what she's told me are edited versions, or if she's my real friend at all. Because she might just be keeping me around for advice, and for the way I treat her (beyond nice). Because she has almost never asked me first to meet.

So I ordered from subway today, and my total came to about 1400 rupee. Now I can already imagine amazing pak brands that will give you such good food for that price.

Then I received my order. It looked so sad. No bag, nothing. Just a sad looking sandwich, which was dry, basic and boring. It was priced at around 800 rupee, and I know some sandwiches for 500 that are way better... Kheir, I ate it. I also got their cookie, which was flat, and had sm oil/butter in it I could feel it on my tongue when I bit it. Jalal sons is offering such AMAZING cookies with a similar price.

Honestly I'm highly disappointed. I was expecting something better from such a huge brand. Local brands are doing way better work with less price, and less credit than we give them.

Hi! I am F 18(turning 19) and I want to get a remote job. Honestly I don't have family pressure, but I do want to earn for myself, save money for my future and for university. I want financial freedom so I never have to feel like a burden again.

Here's what I can do: I draw really well, so I can make 2d art (yes I've been looking for commissions 😭) I can also draw trends and make reels (editing and all) and I am currently doing that too. I speak very well, especially in English so if there's a job regarding speaking in English, I am amazing at it. I can make edits on capcut, I'm still learning it but I genuinely enjoy editing. I can also write exceptionally well, I write a lot of poetry and I can write books etc.I can honestly do a lot of creative work, like making sketches for dresses, coming up with story ideas according to the vibes you give me etc.
