1999 CT quarter with MD that has some eye appeal.

I still have to check the cuds-on-coins website, but I still enjoy looking at some nice MD.

Beautiful brook trout

This is the darkest colored brook trout I’ve ever caught. The trout was released and swam away strong.

Well this is different!

The first image is from a 2025-P nickel reverse. The second image is from an overlay that I screenshotted from the mad die clash website link for nickel overlays. The overlay shows the star from the obverse side for nickels dated 1938-2003 in a position between the FS initials (current nickels) and below the top right of the Monticello roof. Even though I’m not a betting man I’m curious about how the correctly placed star is present on a this 2025-P nickel.

The rest of the images I have yet to the correspond to the appropriate error.

Is there anyone that may shed light upon this curiosity?

I need help with pinpointing a 2022 Sally Ride quarter variety or error.

I’ve been going over some of my Sally Ride quarters. While conducting due diligence I saw two examples from the PCGS app that showed an anomaly between the U in UNITED and to the left side of Sally Ride’s head. It appears that there is an almost complete G on the reverse side.

If anyone can lend their knowledge, I’d be very appreciative.

2022 Dr Sally Ride quarters with anomalies.

I am in the midst of some due diligence and came across some peculiar similarities taken from the PCGS app. Each of these coins have been graded by PCGS. If you look between the U in UNITED and the left side of her head you can see a “C”. In the third picture you can see some doubling on the five star patch on her right breast. In particular the left and right arrows.

Can anyone explain this?

Thank you for your advice.

Even though these are not true errors, I still appreciate their eye appeal.

Sometimes mechanical doubling has a better eye appeal even though there’s no added value.

I’m sure there are some people that have seen some pretty impressive doubling that isn’t considered a true error.

I’m still going to put them in flips for future educational purposes.

Up until now I never gave a thought about checking my investment coins.

We have all scoured over coins until our eyes have bled, literally or metaphorically. I never gave any thought to giving a proper look to my investment coins.

This is an interesting one. This is my first gold coin with multiple die crack errors.

I know what it’s spot price value, and shop value. Seeing that it has die cracks, could this add any additional value over spot?

Not a bad start for today’s CRH.

1964 proof nickel, 2009-D nickel, and a 1968-D WRPM-001 cherry pickers.

If there’s anyone who is well versed with 1947 nickels please let me know. I have quite a conundrum on my hands.

Clarification needed for RPM’s OMM’s due to conflicting information.

This was taken from the double die website with regard to RPM’s and OMM’s. There’s been numerous discussions and arguments surrounding this issue.

If this statement is true and the RPM/OMM era ended after 1994 then any coins minted before 1994 has the potential to be either of the two.

Passed over for a position.

So I just received a certified letter stating that I was passed over for a custodial position. The reasons for why I was passed over was because I smelled like alcohol, and I had a disheveled appearance.

I have long hair. My hair was put up to look professional. My beard was trimmed to a 2 length and I had shaped my beard to a professional appearance. I was also wearing a $700 suit.

First off how can anyone determine that someone was drinking without administering a breathalyzer test, or a blood test? I don’t drink, and have been abstinence from alcohol for almost two years.

Even when I was drinking I was hired as an RCA, and a CCA. Heck I even became a regular when I was city. When I resigned I quit drinking. Even though all those years I never drank on the job.

I’m just fucking pissed, but I’m not going to let this stop me from my pursuit.

Does anyone have any advice for how I should craft my appeal letter?
