I was in a cave that has multiple entrances (Tabahl Woods Cave if that matters) and shot a Bubbul Frog but DIDN’T collect the Bubbul Gem for a second. I then noticed that slightly closer to me was another entrance to the cave I was in. I stepped out of that entrance so that it would register on my map, and went right back in immediately to go grab the Bubbul Gem. As I was looking at my map update, there was no check mark, but when I went back in I couldn’t find the gem anywhere.

After no more than 60 seconds have passed by this point, I notice my map now has the check mark. I’ve been now looking for more than 10 minutes and still can’t find the gem! It’s not a very big cave, and I know right around where I shot the frog, so it’s not like it’s somewhere and can’t find it. It’s straight up gone, or possibly (though quite unlikely) clipped into the floor or wall or something.

Does the check mark appear only after the frog is killed, or do you have to collect the gem?

Also, if I leave the cave, spend the night somewhere, and return, do you think the frog will be back? Or do I risk softlocking the gem of if I do that?

Has anyone else had this issue?

EDIT: So I loaded a recent autosave and noticed that my Bubbul Gem count was one lower. Meaning somehow the Bubbul Gem was collected, but I definitely did not pick it up normally. I wonder if there was a debug failsafe thing where the gem triggered some line of code that just gave it to me so that it wouldn’t get lost.

I definitely didn’t accidentally grab it without realizing, because it pulls up the menu that I would’ve noticed. Plus I saw it fall right behind a large rock, and I never went back there until I was ready to collect it and by then it was gone.

Either way it worked out for me lol!

I know this gets talked about a lot, but I’ve seen a lot of different answers and want to be as respectful as I can. And I can’t find anyone asking this specific question. Very sorry if this kind of question doesn’t fit the subreddit. I’m happy to delete it if so.

I know tattoos are not viewed very fondly among more traditional interpretations of Torah. But what is the common reception when Christians have Hebrew tattoos, specifically Hebrew tattoos? I’m a Christian, but I have a strong fondness for Judaism and Jewish culture. The Hebrew Bible has been incredibly impactful in my life. I love studying Torah, but I have to be honest that in my faith, I don’t follow it the same way Torah-observing Jews do. That being said, I want to be as respectful as I can towards my spiritual “cousins” so to speak.

I’m thinking about getting a tattoo of Solomon’s prayer in 1 Kings 3:9 in Hebrew, “לב שׁמע”. And it’ll be in a place where it can be covered up. Now I know most people aren’t going to be very judgmental about it, but I don’t want to offend. I’m from a mid sized city in the American Midwest. There’s no reason to think I’ll be going to Israel anytime soon. I’m not personally close to any Jews either.

I’m just curious to know if I’d be offending anyone if I got it. Thank you so much for anyone’s insight! And I’ve read what the tattoo bot says about it. Just trying to get a little more understanding. Hope it’s not too much of an eye roll to see this pop up again!
