A slope so slippery, even the onion can't exagerate it.
"Instant collapse" lmao what??? Sounds like a skill issue on your part.
Frieren ALREADY protects them. "Use her full power" isn't necesary lmao.
Adventuring is a risky business. Frieren has put herself into situations where she would 100% have died if Fern or Stark hadn't done their thing correctly. And she does have absolute trust in them to handle things on their own as well. However, her presence also guarantees their safety in 99% of cases just by standing there. But she ONLY steps in when it's absolutely necessary. Being in danger, even illusions of danger, is necessary to grow. If she just drops a nuke of every enemy so they never get a chance to threaten Fern and Stark, that would be terrible mentoring.
When she leaves Fern "alone" with the fog demon, she's still in perfect sniping range. And she can obviously dispell the fog as well if she wanted to. And she did save Fern twice already in that same fight. So to argue that she is somehow being "irresponsible" and gambling Fern's life unnecessarily, that's nonsense. Of course, she can't be two places at the same time, so Stark could possibly have died to Revolte. But did Frieren know that? No. And even if she did, she still shouldn't just "handle" Revolte on her own and deprive Stark of an extreme diff fight. The solution would be for EVERYONE to plan their movements differently.

Hmm, I wonder what my block strategy should be.
The new Neow bonus can be insane sometimes.
Living with your parents.
My parents are not perfect. Even still, leaving them to live by myself was utterly traumatizing. I literally cannot function without social pressure (and support) in my immediate vicinity. Getting dragged out of bed is the only way that consistently works. There's not a single meal plan (hellofresh included) that can feed me reliably -- with the sole exception of my parents. Without them, I would probably have died to depression by now. Am I being an unreasonable burden for wanting to live? No. That's ridiculous.
In fact, modern society is the problem, not me. Because a natural human existence would actually involve ~200 people living as a close knit community. I would thrive easily and provide tonnes of value because there wouldn't be a million decisions all the time that I'm "personally responsible" for making. The community hunts a deer, so I help them. I can't wake up? Doesn't matter, just shout in his ear, he IS going on that hunt. THAT is how a "natural" human life looks like.
Being an atomized individual, woken by a crude alarm clock, tortured over arbitrary deadlines and gaslit into viewing all friction as personal moral failure, that is dystopian and cruel. My ADHD isn't causing these issues. All it does is remove the last piece of tolerance for this kind of bullshit. If I subject myself to a "normal" life, by modern standards, then I will lose my will to live. Simple as.
Therefore, since I don't want to die, I'll stay with my parents until I find another community that can sustain me in a similar manner. Be that marriage or something else. Anything but living alone. That's not to say that I'm being lazy and a burden. I do as many chores as my brain allows, often paying for groceries and such. My parents are no less victims of capitalism than I am, so helping them out is equally my duty as helping me is for them.
Bing Bong Apparation, I never considered that.
Why exactly does Frieren aura farm? (is it even on purpose?)
Like for example, she meets Aura while airborne, but then lands immediately and proceeds to dance with her soldiers on foot. So there was no tactical benefit to flying at the beginning. She just did that because the story wanted her to look cool. Is that part of her strategy of deceiving demons? How exactly would that work? Curious to hear your thoughts.
Extra energy per turn (requires upgrade) ? Or 1 energy blade?
I loved this last patch.
Glam is such an exciting and fun early game reward. The fishing rod can give you solid long term value on maps with few elites, and it encourages card removes while letting you keep the treasure chest. The card rewards from other characters is actually really usefull. Especially on regent I can really use some "block 8, add 1 soul" or some other powerspike on the first floor, because even the coughing babies need to be respected early on with the regent.
Speaking of the regent, I think the bullwark nerf was quite necesary, but probably still not enough. Make it so that it gives 10 block and forge, upgraded to 13 of both. That way, it becomes more of a competitive forge card, not the all size fits all solution to every boss and hallway fight.
Also, having Crescent Spear buffed in the early game really enables you to grab a lot of glow, hidden cache, heavenly cloak, all the common star cards, and just breeze through the early game. Skipping cards all the time just waiting for "premium" overstated options isn't all that necessary. One or two crescent spears will probably do more damage than a single comet by the time you reach act 3, so if you got a couple of them, your deck will almost never have a bad draw order where your hallway fight drags on for 5 turns.
Spreading out the star expenditure onto more cards will maximize the black hole value as well. My best run got access to "Black hole (replay 1)" on the first floor. Safe to say, the Eels didn't stand a chance.
