Does anyone here actually feel like they've had or will have an easy life?

(Just late night thoughts)

I was wondering if there are people who genuinely feel that, overall, they've had an easy life.

Almost everyone around me seems to be struggling in one way or another, whether it's with their job, business, studies, relationships, health, or something else. I used to think people from wealthy backgrounds had it easy, but the more I observe, the more I realize they have their own struggles too, whether it's mental health, difficult relationships, addiction, or other personal issues.

So, is there anyone here who honestly feels their life has been relatively easy so far? If yes, what do you think made it that way? Was it good luck, a supportive family, financial stability, your personality, or something else?

I'm actually hoping at least some people say yes, because otherwise it makes me wonder: what's the point? If almost everyone is struggling in some way, why does it seem so difficult to simply live a happy, peaceful life?

Why isn't having an easy and happy life the ultimate goal? What's stopping people from achieving it? Are suffering and struggle just unavoidable parts of being human, or is there something we're collectively doing wrong?

TLDR: Just the title.

🚨 CRITICAL MEDICAL EMERGENCY: Help Save My Wife From Stage-4 Cancer

ੴ Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh ੴ

Dukh Bhanjan Tera Naam Ji, Dukh Bhanjan Tera Naam..." 🙏🙏

Dear Community,

I am Vikas Kapoor, standing before you in a state of absolute financial and emotional collapse. My wife, Shahin Vikas Kapoor, is fighting an aggressive, life-threatening battle against Stage-4 Breast Cancer (Carcinoma Breast) which has actively spread to her liver, spine, brain, and lungs.

👉 CLICK HERE TO DONATE DIRECTLY: https://www.impactguru.com/fundraiser/donate-shahin-vikas-kapoor?utm\_source=campaigner-app&utm\_medium=campaigner-app\_hometab\_android\_share&utm\_campaign=manual-social-sharing&utm\_content=campaigner&utm\_term=VikasKapoor

🛑 Her Severely Worsening Condition & Medical Update

1.Bleeding Wound: The advanced cancer has caused a deep, open, ulcerated wound on her right breast that has now started bleeding severely, requiring daily professional nursing care.

2.Extreme Weakness: Her weight has dropped drastically to just 29 kg. She is completely bed-bound and in excruciating pain due to critical spinal instability.

3.NGS Report Status: As per our recent hospital visit, our next clinical path forward strictly depends on tracking the new mutation. The sample has been sent, and the official NGS (Next-Generation Sequencing) test report is currently awaited.

📊 Official Treatment Cost Breakdown (As per RGCIRC Estimate Letter)

As officially certified by Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre (RGCIRC) on 11.06.2026, the immediate 3-month therapeutic phase costs are broken down as:

Cost of Hormonal Therapy: ₹60,000/- per month × 3 months = ₹1,80,000/-

Cost of Targeted Therapy: ₹80,000/- per month × 3 months = ₹2,40,000/-

NGS Testing and Biopsy Block (Urgent Basis): ₹80,000/- (Report Awaited)

Home based Nursing Care (For daily wound dressing): ₹60,000/- per month × 3 months = ₹1,80,000/-

Cost of Chemotherapy: ₹2,00,000/-

Total Estimated Cost of Therapy: ₹8,80,000/- (Note: This does not include the costs of emergency admissions and supportive care).

⚠️ Current Fundraiser Status & Absolute Crisis

Goal Amount: ₹30,00,000

Total Raised on Portal: ₹21,05,829.28

Our Reality: As shown in our active campaign dashboard, we have crossed 70% of our goal. However, every single rupee of these accumulated funds has already been 80% exhausted on past intensive chemotherapies, targeted therapies, and heavy pain management injections.

What you see on the portal is already spent on saving her life so far. Right now, we have zero balance in hand to cover her upcoming ₹8,80,000/- RGCIRC protocol, daily medicine cycles, and basic survival needs for our little baby boy. Though my new job is starting soon, my salary has not begun yet. If treatment breaks now, I will lose her forever.

Stress, anxiety and stomach problems

Does anyone else experience more stomach issues when they're stressed? What do you do to manage it? Honestly, I'm struggling to deal with it anymore. It's been going on for about five months now. After every meal, I feel an urgent need to use the bathroom. I used to have stomach pain too, but after taking medication, the pain improves. However, the urgency and frequent bowel movements are still the same.

How do you guys deal with different political opinions as a couple? (26F, 30M)

Just the title.

Also I don't mind anyone having different opinions, but he's extremely defensive about his views, whether they're political or religious. He sometimes jokes about my opinions, and I usually laugh it off, but when I do the same even unintentionally he becomes defensive and makes me feel ashamed that I'm making him feel lower which I never intend.

Has anyone had a similar experience? I don't know how to handle it. I'm also afraid of him because he sometimes raises his voice to prove he's right, and I'm naturally introverted.

Edit - I'd like to keep this focused on relationships rather than politics please.

Looking for 1BHK minimal setup.

Hi! I'm planning to move to Chandigarh. I'm looking for a 1BHK apartment with minimal setup and would prefer living alone rather than sharing accommodation. Since I'm quite introverted and don't easily connect with new people, having my own space is important to me. I'm also very particular about cleanliness, so I'd prefer a well-maintained and hygienic place.

  1. Could you tell me the typical price range for a 1BHK in Chandigarh?

  2. Suggest some good areas to live in that are safe, clean, and suitable for someone living alone?

Question for founders building with AI

How do you guys deal with all the hate around AI products?

Every time someone launches something with AI, people instantly say:

(saved quite a few but these are the repetitive ones )

“Just another AI wrapper with a fancy UI.”

“AI products are replacing people’s livelihoods.”

“People spent years mastering these skills, and now AI making them irrelevant.”

“You’re automating work real humans used to do.”

“Most AI startups are solving fake problems.”

“Everyone’s just adding AI because it’s trendy.”

“AI is lowering the value of skilled work.”

“This feels more like a replacement than innovation.”

“Builders are profiting while others lose jobs.”

“Why use AI when a human can do it better?”

And honestly, I kinda get both sides.

AI already affected my own career negatively, and now I’m learning it and trying to build something useful for myself first. But seeing so much negativity around AI builders sometimes makes me hesitate.

How do you guys process the criticism, and what keeps you motivated to continue building?

Do you prefer having local guide or exploring on your own?

I've done both and honestly can't decide what works better. With a guide, you get stories and context that make a place come alive but it's pricey and you're on someone else's schedule which has both pros and cons. On your own, you have complete freedom but you don't get to know the place you are passing by. Also if I don't know the language that's another problem of travelling alone. Any suggestions please?

2-3 LPA in 2026? Seriously?

Dear recruiters and companies, can you please stop offering jobs with salaries of 2-3 LPA? That package made sense maybe 10 years ago, but everything has changed since then - rent, food, fuel, education costs, electricity bills, transportation, healthcare, technology, and overall inflation. Even expectations and workloads have increased, yet salaries are still stuck in the past. Seriously, it’s getting ridiculous!!!

Why do some travelers love using AI while others hate it?

I’m curious about both sides from people who actually travel.

Some people seem to use AI for everything now, itineraries, researching places budgeting, food recommendations, etc. Meanwhile other people seem to absolutely hate the idea and prefer Google, blogs, Reddit, or figuring things out themselves.

What makes AI useful for you personally? And for people who avoid it, what turns you off about it?

I really admire this Gen Z era, the way they speak up so freely, challenge outdated norms, and stand their ground on social, political, cultural, and environmental issues. It’s inspiring to see how naturally they embrace positivity and push for change. I honestly look forward to a future where Gen Z becomes the oldest generation, hoping that by then, the cycles of trauma might finally fade for those who come after. I genuinely tear up seeing you guys taking a stand. Keep this energy up ;)

Hi,

I’m in my late 20s and have been unemployed for the past three years. The pressure has been intense, and my parents believe my lack of success is because I don’t worship regularly. Many of my relatives also keep suggesting different religious rituals for me to follow. It’s also difficult to process because my academic journey has been relatively strong compared to most in my family, and I was often among the toppers. Meanwhile, my younger siblings are now settled in their lives; they were more average academically but have been quite consistent with religious practices.

I do believe in God, but I don’t agree with the idea that worship alone determines how successful someone’s life will be. It doesn’t make sense to me that God would act based on whether someone performs rituals or not, as if success depends on pleasing Him in that way.

At the same time, I’ve seen people who, while not necessarily less hardworking, seem to settle into life more easily, and many of them are religious and regularly visit holy places. My parents often use these examples to make their point. I’m not against religion or worship, but I genuinely want to understand why it sometimes appears that those who worship achieve more, while others struggle.

Also, I don’t want to perform rituals just because of this pressure. I feel that such things should come from genuine belief and willingness, done with a whole heart and mind, not just as a way to gain something.

Could someone help me make sense of this?

Hi everyone,

I’m currently working on a project and would love to get some feedback from those in the hospitality industry to see if it would be useful for the people you serve. I really want to understand if it is a problem you guys face or not.

I won't be able to ask all the questions here so I've prepared a Google form for that. I’d really appreciate it if you could take a couple of minutes to complete this short survey.

Hi,

I’ve been unemployed for quite a while now. I completed my Masters in Computer Science from the UK and returned to my country bcz couldn't secure a job. The only roles I’m being offered are in sales, customer support, or call centers, mainly because of the customer service experience I gained through part-time work in the UK.

I’m looking for a legitimate platform that can genuinely guarantee tech job placement. I’m exhausted from constantly learning new things and trying to keep up with AI trends. What I really need is proper guidance, a clear plan, and some level of accountability to help me stay focused on a specific career path. I have come across some which say pay only after you get a job which is too good to be true.

I’ve been exploring roles in testing, data analysis, and data engineering, but I feel like I’ve become a jack of all trades by following too many different suggestions, everyone keeps telling me to learn something new or build different projects.

At this point, I need a structured schedule and direction. It’s frustrating to admit this after completing a Master’s degree, but the reality is that formal education hasn’t translated into career clarity or opportunities. I’m genuinely tired of how this system works.

I’ve also tried networking, but most people just offer advice, like improving my CV, learning new skills rather than actually being willing to refer me. What’s frustrating is that these suggestions often contradict each other and don’t really align ;(
