Question for founders building with AI

How do you guys deal with all the hate around AI products?

Every time someone launches something with AI, people instantly say:

(saved quite a few but these are the repetitive ones )

“Just another AI wrapper with a fancy UI.”

“AI products are replacing people’s livelihoods.”

“People spent years mastering these skills, and now AI making them irrelevant.”

“You’re automating work real humans used to do.”

“Most AI startups are solving fake problems.”

“Everyone’s just adding AI because it’s trendy.”

“AI is lowering the value of skilled work.”

“This feels more like a replacement than innovation.”

“Builders are profiting while others lose jobs.”

“Why use AI when a human can do it better?”

And honestly, I kinda get both sides.

AI already affected my own career negatively, and now I’m learning it and trying to build something useful for myself first. But seeing so much negativity around AI builders sometimes makes me hesitate.

How do you guys process the criticism, and what keeps you motivated to continue building?

Do you prefer having local guide or exploring on your own?

I've done both and honestly can't decide what works better. With a guide, you get stories and context that make a place come alive but it's pricey and you're on someone else's schedule which has both pros and cons. On your own, you have complete freedom but you don't get to know the place you are passing by. Also if I don't know the language that's another problem of travelling alone. Any suggestions please?

2-3 LPA in 2026? Seriously?

Dear recruiters and companies, can you please stop offering jobs with salaries of 2-3 LPA? That package made sense maybe 10 years ago, but everything has changed since then - rent, food, fuel, education costs, electricity bills, transportation, healthcare, technology, and overall inflation. Even expectations and workloads have increased, yet salaries are still stuck in the past. Seriously, it’s getting ridiculous!!!

Why do some travelers love using AI while others hate it?

I’m curious about both sides from people who actually travel.

Some people seem to use AI for everything now, itineraries, researching places budgeting, food recommendations, etc. Meanwhile other people seem to absolutely hate the idea and prefer Google, blogs, Reddit, or figuring things out themselves.

What makes AI useful for you personally? And for people who avoid it, what turns you off about it?

I really admire this Gen Z era, the way they speak up so freely, challenge outdated norms, and stand their ground on social, political, cultural, and environmental issues. It’s inspiring to see how naturally they embrace positivity and push for change. I honestly look forward to a future where Gen Z becomes the oldest generation, hoping that by then, the cycles of trauma might finally fade for those who come after. I genuinely tear up seeing you guys taking a stand. Keep this energy up ;)

Hi,

I’m in my late 20s and have been unemployed for the past three years. The pressure has been intense, and my parents believe my lack of success is because I don’t worship regularly. Many of my relatives also keep suggesting different religious rituals for me to follow. It’s also difficult to process because my academic journey has been relatively strong compared to most in my family, and I was often among the toppers. Meanwhile, my younger siblings are now settled in their lives; they were more average academically but have been quite consistent with religious practices.

I do believe in God, but I don’t agree with the idea that worship alone determines how successful someone’s life will be. It doesn’t make sense to me that God would act based on whether someone performs rituals or not, as if success depends on pleasing Him in that way.

At the same time, I’ve seen people who, while not necessarily less hardworking, seem to settle into life more easily, and many of them are religious and regularly visit holy places. My parents often use these examples to make their point. I’m not against religion or worship, but I genuinely want to understand why it sometimes appears that those who worship achieve more, while others struggle.

Also, I don’t want to perform rituals just because of this pressure. I feel that such things should come from genuine belief and willingness, done with a whole heart and mind, not just as a way to gain something.

Could someone help me make sense of this?

Hi everyone,

I’m currently working on a project and would love to get some feedback from those in the hospitality industry to see if it would be useful for the people you serve. I really want to understand if it is a problem you guys face or not.

I won't be able to ask all the questions here so I've prepared a Google form for that. I’d really appreciate it if you could take a couple of minutes to complete this short survey.

Hi,

I’ve been unemployed for quite a while now. I completed my Masters in Computer Science from the UK and returned to my country bcz couldn't secure a job. The only roles I’m being offered are in sales, customer support, or call centers, mainly because of the customer service experience I gained through part-time work in the UK.

I’m looking for a legitimate platform that can genuinely guarantee tech job placement. I’m exhausted from constantly learning new things and trying to keep up with AI trends. What I really need is proper guidance, a clear plan, and some level of accountability to help me stay focused on a specific career path. I have come across some which say pay only after you get a job which is too good to be true.

I’ve been exploring roles in testing, data analysis, and data engineering, but I feel like I’ve become a jack of all trades by following too many different suggestions, everyone keeps telling me to learn something new or build different projects.

At this point, I need a structured schedule and direction. It’s frustrating to admit this after completing a Master’s degree, but the reality is that formal education hasn’t translated into career clarity or opportunities. I’m genuinely tired of how this system works.

I’ve also tried networking, but most people just offer advice, like improving my CV, learning new skills rather than actually being willing to refer me. What’s frustrating is that these suggestions often contradict each other and don’t really align ;(
