I originally reaaaallly wanted Robin bc she’s hot and i think she’s an upgrade to my Castorice team (which I want to vertically invest in) BUT I just heard waventurine is good in SW999 teams if you don’t have sparxie, which I unfortunately don’t, so I’m not sure which one is better.

My elation team rn is SW999 e0s1, Emc e6s1 (herta LC), Yao e0s0, and DHPT e0s1 (waiting for pearl ig)

And my Remembrance team consists of Cassie e0s1, Evernight e0s1 (finally got her just recently!!!), Cyrene e0s0, and Hyacine e0s0.

That also reminds me that I need hyacines LC still and I think she’s getting reran next patch? Idk if that’s true tho. Also my total pulls consist of 5. But I still have the fate collab rewards and the main story (4.3? Whatever this patch was). And ofc the rewards from next patch to collect so…

The one from here is what I’m talking about. Is the only option really to print it out yourself? Bc idk how I’d go about that, what kinda paper are calendars even made out of? I’ve looked everywhere and can’t find where I’d buy it, but maybe I’m missing smth idk. Like a small Etsy shop lol.

Ok so I finally got her for mono rem and have to pull for her LC. Ik there aren’t any good f2p options which is why I’m going for it. But if I don’t manage to get it what are they and is it actually necessary? I have to be away for the rest of this patch and only have like 3-4 days total to grind for it.

Basically I just need to know what stat goals I should be hitting for her build. Like 200 speed with aWolf. I don’t want to follow in game recs cuz Ik they can be inaccurate.

Alright so I just finished fire force, which was amazing, but after finishing it and realizing it’s meant to be a prequel to Soul Eater, I decided to watch that. I’m on like episode 4 or 5 now so there’s a chance this is explained later but it doesn’t seem like it will be.

Anyway I’m confused on 1. Why people still… die ig, 2. Why the heck they have special powers and 3. Why is deaths kid… still a kid?

To explain more for #1, when Shinra basically made death a bit more friendly and normal so that people wouldn’t despair over it, or anything really. So people still die… I think… but we also see people be able to just… reattach their arms legs, or even head. So they DIDN’T die, but can they even? Why are people in Soul Eater still dying if they could just reattach their body parts and be fine?

As for #2 Ik death took away pyrokinesis and the adola links and all that so spontaneous human combustion went away. But if he took away all their cool powers, then why can people SEE souls and turn into WEAPONS??? I was even a little confused in FF epilogue bc they said some people (like the captain of the 8th) can move mountains and stuff now. Like HOW and WHY?!

Finally #3 is just a weird little quirk I think. Depending on how much time as passed, we saw Death make kid death (I assume that’s who it was) and he looked like 7 or 8ish if I remember right, so how the heck is he still kid and why is he obsessed with symmetry now lol.

And actually how much time has passed since the events in FF? It had to have been a lot for nobody to even mention ANYTHING about that. Though that’s likely just bc Soul eater came way before FF was even thought of.

Also just a side note but wtf is that sun even doing?! Why it panting like that lmao. Also why is the moon bleeding. Nobody seems to have mentioned it so like… must be normal for them, but WHY. Also does Arthur still have HIS plasma powers? It didn’t get taken away bc he was in space so surely he’s gonna show up right? Or his ancestors or smth? I feel like there isn’t much reason to mention that death couldn’t take his powers away if it’s not going to come back later or mean anything.

Now I know fire force obv came out way after soul eater, so there may be a few inconsistencies but these seemed too big and I felt like they probably weren’t going to get talked about.

Like what teams is she good for atm? I need to decide if I’m pulling evernight and her LC before going for Himeko Nova and her LC likely at a later date. I would need Evernight to finish mono rememberence. And ofc her LC bc apparently there aren’t any good f2p options. But if Robin SP is better then I can go straight for Himeko Nova and HER LC bc I’m pretty sure there are no better options.

I also have SW999 and recently got M.Blade. So I’ll need to save for elation sustain and allat BUT I really like Himeko and have her best teammates (prolly not built well tho) so I want to pull her. If I can I might try to pull Robin sp regardless bc well… I need that man…

But anyways yeah. I’ve seen many shorts/posts about the beta but they all seem to be wrong or have no kit information. Also my luck is pretty bad anyway. I’ve gotten pretty lucky winning 50/50s recently but that could easily change. There’s no guarantee I can even get Evernights LC if I get her at hard pity.

(Bolded for main issue srry) I was trying to use shillelagh earlier but my friend (dm) was insistent that I couldn’t, even after showing him this. Same thing with Thorn whip actually. He, and another player, INSISTED that I couldn’t pull zero feet even tho the entire internets seemed to have a consensus that that’s how it works. I kinda wanna try DMing tbh. I js don’t know bc I don’t really like to make different voices, and I’m not sure how well my storytelling capabilities would be. Tho I’m sure I can whip smth up lol. So if I take advantage of the offer I only have to pay 20.99 but if I ever get my own PlayStation in the future I won’t get the game. However I’ve also been saving for a pc and just preordered a AYN Thor so idk if I even WILL get a PlayStation in the future. And even then I could just buy the game on pc. But idk. I could future proof it by just spending 9 extra bucks too.

The game is free for ps+ on PlayStation this month and I decided to try it cuz I really liked the pixel art and puzzles are cool and such.

HOWEVER I’ve learned that I suck at throwing digital balls. Also I’m a little confused if I’m mainly throwing stuff or meleeing stuff, idk.

Also, is there a place to learn abt all the classes? I don’t see it in the encyclopedia lol. Also can like just everyone throw balls? Like that captain guy was a regular human (I think) but he threw balls, or are sphere-benders special? That’s mainly why I want class info lol.

It’s a little hard getting used to the super fast gameplay tho, the parkour sucks to do, and I always be getting hit in fights, like ALL the time… hopefully I’ll git gud tho idk. Was it difficult to get used to for anyone else?

ALSO I JUST GOTTA SAY AGAIN, THE PIXEL ART IS SOOOOOOO GOOD!!! I like older games (like older Pokemon games) bc of the pixel art, I prefer it to reg 3d stuff… and they do it sooooo good. The greyed out npcs ARE a little weird/immersion breaking imo but I get why they did it lol.

Now Ik Hoyo has to make their money off the game, but they alr have so much that I feel like it wouldn’t kill them to give us a bit more than just 40 for $100. Like, $100 is a lot tbh it should get us more. I’m not even saying it needs to get us a guaranteed 5* or anything, just maybe high 50’s/low 60’s would even do.

I’m not calling them greedy devs or anything cuz they DO give us a lot of free stuff (more than some other gachas) but I just feel like the amount we get for $100 is pretty low.

I also am trying to actually finish mono rememberence, and I heard evernight was getting reran again so I NEED to get her if that’s true. I know I have a while but if I do manage to pull all these characters I likely won’t have much for next patch which I believe are the aventurine and robin sp. now I was pretty adamant about not pulling unless they can improve my existing teams (Cassie mono rem, SW999 elation, and maybe Himeko nova if I get her.) HOWEVER, swimsuit robin is doing smth to me and I think i have to pull lmao. Aventurine sp has a pretty skippable bc although i like him, he’s a new standalone elation dps so I don’t rlly need him. I’m trying to main aWolf for elation.

Also I don’t know anything about the LCs. Idk which ones are worth pulling and which ones aren’t. Not only that but I do need to save for the elation sustain (probably pearl, PLEASE) and I kinda want to get SW999 e1 so it’s easier to get e2. Then I also need hyacines LC for mono rem if she’s ever reran too.

Now for my pulls, I have about like 42 pulls in jades rn. I had more but then I finally caught up to the story for the first time, saw how cool M.blade was, pressed a few buttons, and now have him. I think he works good with Himeko nova tho so maybe it’s ok? I also have SOME oneric shards that I’d rather not use, I only got them so I could get Cassie’s skin, and I have a free express supply pass. I CAN swipe if I have to but I’d really rather not. I need to save lol. I’m also currently on vacation for like a week so that’s less grinding I can do, star rail takes up way too much storage on my phone, and even on my iPad with nothing on it, it still takes up too much. So I can’t really play when I’m away from my ps5. I also have a few more “vacations” coming up that last a few days to a week long so that’s even less time. idk.

First of all, how much storage is it? I probably won’t have enough storage on my ps5 lol. I likely won’t actually be able to play till August when I get my AYN Thor and can play the mobile version. (I think there’s one idk)

So now that I’ve finally caught up to HSR story, I’ve been a little bored cuz I want more PEAK story like in star rail in between a few of my other games. And I want to play this game specifically because I know it’s apart of the Honkai-verse (same universe??? Idk. No clue what the story’s abt) also I want to be able to discover more references in both games and be able to make funny references too lmao.

HOWEVER I heard that the original main story is finished, and to keep the gacha going, they’re doing like a new side main story kinda thing??? Idk how it works rlly but my main concern is that I’ll have no idea who the newer characters are and I won’t be able to get any of the characters that I meet in the main story because they came out so long ago.

Also how peak is the story? Let’s say on a scale of 1-10 ig. Also how many cutscenes and animated scenes are there? Just curious lol.

Another concern ig is that there’s not much QOL like a speed up button (in combat? Idk what the combat system is like) or skip button for random sidequest dialogue I don’t care abt.

I’m also hoping I can play this very low investment as I still want star rail to be my main game. So I’m hoping this game is really f2p friendly so that I don’t have to spend money. (I won’t anyway, I’m even f2p on star rail) i don’t really expect to be able to clear endgame much this way but as long as i can make strong teams ig. It would still be really cool if i could tho lol.
